The highlight of our stay at Bad Hotel Überlingen was definitely the spa area. It felt very new, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The sauna resting area, in particular, stood out—it connects directly to a garden, and from there you have a beautiful view over Lake Constance. Stepping outside for fresh air between sauna sessions, with that view in front of you, was genuinely relaxing.
The gym, on the other hand, felt a bit disappointing. It’s quite small, and strangely, there were no weights available. It seemed like all the equipment was locked away in a physio or personal training room, which made the space feel incomplete for anyone wanting a proper workout.
Breakfast was a much more positive experience. The selection was excellent, easily better than what I’ve come across in most German hotels. Everything was well presented, and the refilling was always timely, so nothing ever felt empty or neglected. That said, the service was a little inconsistent. One staff member—a dark hair runner in the restaurant—handled a small issue with a pepper grinder poorly, initially dismissing the concern instead of checking it. Thankfully, another server stepped in quickly and resolved the situation before it escalated further.
Parking is available either at the hotel or at the car park across the street, both at €17 per day, which is straightforward but something to factor in.
What really ties everything together is the location. The surroundings are beautiful—the lakefront promenade is just there, perfect for a walk, and there’s a nearby park with a charming tower that adds to the scenery. The Bodensee-Therme Überlingen is also just around the corner, making it easy to extend that spa-like feeling beyond the hotel itself.
In the end, Bad Hotel Überlingen is a place where the setting and spa experience really shine, even if a few details—like the gym setup and some service moments—don’t quite match the overall potential. This is one of the very few hotel I would love to stay over again.

LoulouyudashuExtremely satisfied! The location is great; you can walk through the park right to the Old Town. Just a heads-up about parking: if you don't reserve a spot, you might not find one and will have to use a nearby parking lot, but it's not too far, so it's acceptable. The room has a kettle, and the bed is very comfortable. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly; everyone we met was welcoming and even enthusiastic. Breakfast was excellent. I absolutely love this hotel!

A very clean, cozy, and modern place to stay. Although it’s a bit far from the city center, it’s a great choice if you’re specifically visiting the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and pleasant.
Even though we only stayed for two nights, the room was excellent. They even had a kitchen, which was a nice bonus. There’s no bottled water provided in the room, but water, coffee, and snacks are available in the lobby on the ground floor.
Overall, a lovely stay. Highly recommended!

I have two rooms in December before Christmas and it was one of the most comfortable bed I had for the two weeks trip. Two nights here and my baby son loves their breakfast. It comes with hot food and cold cuts, cheese and on table side orders for eggs. I tried the shashouka but I don’t really like it because the cumin was too strong. I had lovely champagne for my breakfast and can’t complaint more. Coffee normal, tea selections are great! I would come back again to this chain hotel. The only bad things is the location is slight far from train station, we pulled 2 big luggages, 1 medium size luggage, 1 stroller all the way to the hotel and decided to call for taxi when we depart.
Afterall good stay and safe and quiet neighbourhood.

Guest UserThe location is right behind the HBF (main train station), which is super convenient for catching a train. The room decor is quite new, and the soundproofing is decent. There's a minibar and a coffee machine. The front desk staff were also very polite, and luggage storage was easy.

I stayed at the Maritim Hotel Ulm and had a mixed but overall decent experience, with the breakfast being the clear highlight of the stay.
The breakfast was excellent — very fresh, with changing daily offerings that made it enjoyable to visit every morning. A particularly impressive touch was during the New Year period, when the hotel extended breakfast service until 14:00 to accommodate guests after late celebrations. That level of flexibility was highly appreciated. The breakfast room itself was clean and well maintained, although the interior design already feels somewhat dated.
On the downside, the hotel overall shows its age. The roughly 30 years of operation are visible in parts of the interior and general appearance. Additionally, the service felt more aligned with local standards rather than the international level typically expected from a 4-star hotel. For example, storing a suitcase for a few days between stays required a longer discussion than expected, which reduced the feeling of convenience and guest orientation.
Overall, the hotel is still a solid choice, especially for guests who value a strong breakfast offering, but some modernization and service process improvements would further enhance the experience.

Guest UserStayed 2 nights here and simply loved it! Look at the photos, it has practically everything you need and I like that Hotel works very systematically. There is a nice refrigerator with freezer compartment.
This chic studio utilises every space and has alot of storage. Great for those with long stays or who has a heavy baggage that needs organisation. If I’m not wrong there is a self service laundry in the hotel. There is one coffee machine in the room with 3 types of flavors-normal, decaf and chocolate. None of it contain sugar. Guests can also take drinks from their coffee machine in ground level E - but you have to bring your own cups (from your room).
You will be given a list of paper on what is needed during check in. Easy and simple.
If you want the ac on, you need to ensure windows are closed properly. We left the windows open at night as it’s more cooling. But you have to bear with the noises from outside.
During check out, guests will need to load the dish washer and put them on start (with the dishwashing capsule) before leaving. It’s really cool since Asians dont really use them. They also provide a sponge and dish liquid if you prefer to wash as per normal. We did both.

Guest UserNear Heidelberg Hbf. Brand-new hotel. But the breakfast buffet is just so-so. No new food provided. Fruits are not good, at least not fit my taste. We ordered triple beds room, the third bed is really…casual. Just one bed in the bedstead. Not comfortable at all.
