"Divani Caravel Hotel delivered a genuine 5-star experience right in the heart of Athens. The hotel is big, spacious, and elegant, offering a very comfortable and luxurious stay. I requested a special surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday at midnight, and the team organized everything perfectly exactly as expected. The attention to detail and care made the moment truly special. We also used the spa and enjoyed a massage, which was excellent and very relaxing. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options, the staff were friendly and professional, and the small Christmas gift was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The location is excellent, with easy access to all major attractions. Overall, a classy hotel with outstanding service highly recommended for a special stay in Athens."

"The location is unbeatable. I was staying at the InterContinental before this, but didn't want to stay in one hotel for too long, so I switched to this one near Syntagma Square. It's walking distance to shopping, the National Museum, and the Chunxi and Mingyue Lou Chinese restaurants. The breakfast was quite ordinary, but the view was excellent – the picture I took was from the 10th-floor breakfast area. Everything else was fine. We arrived at the hotel around 9 AM and there were already rooms available, which was great."

"We booked two rooms with family. The location was in the middle, so the price was a bit high. Breakfast was only for one person, which was a bit stingy. We would definitely book again next time, but perhaps choose the city center option. The service was very attentive, and the surrounding area was very quiet."

"The front desk service was exceptionally good! I really felt the warmth and relaxed vibe of the Greek people. I arrived at midnight, and a gentleman at the front desk greeted us with a very friendly smile. He carefully explained that the food on the 8th and 9th floors of the restaurant was exactly the same, but the 9th floor offered better views! He also mentioned the gym was on B1 and breakfast was from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, which was very thoughtful. My friend sent me a bouquet of flowers, and he even helped deliver a vase to my room – so considerate! When I got to the room, it was quite spacious, and the bed was very comfortable! Waking up in the morning, the biggest surprise was the incredible view from the rooftop restaurant and pool!!! Absolutely worth it! The ultimate scenery! Breathtaking! Breakfast was plentiful! Very satisfied, enjoying breakfast with such a beautiful view. The restaurant has three sides of floor-to-ceiling windows and a large terrace with views from all three directions! This was simply amazing! Some of the facilities in the room were a bit old, which didn't affect the stay itself but did impact the overall experience, especially the towels! They were too old, which was a bit hard to accept, but everything else was fine. The hotel's location is excellent. Taxis to places like the Acropolis, museums, or generally the city center were all around 6 euros. Very convenient. After a 5-day stay, it was still very good! I saw stunning sunsets from different spots in the city! One from Mount Lycabettus, one from a temple, one from the Grand Hyatt, and one from the Panathenaic Stadium! Athens in June is beautiful! Although the city feels a bit run-down, it doesn't detract from the happy and relaxed atmosphere of the people 😌"

"We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights before we move back to UK, the location is very good, outside full of restaurants and shops. The breakfast is decent too. Swimming pool is a bit small, but the feasible sized parasols are limited by the pool when the weather was windy. And towels are limited too, was told by the staff each person only allowed one towel every day. No kettle in the mini bar inside the room. And the Safe box was a disaster, very old and inside equipped with some badly aged fabric. All my personal items stored inside were covered by red fluffy bits."

"Overall, I was very satisfied. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and varied enough that I didn't get tired of it even after 6 days. The Acropolis is within walking distance, though it's still a bit of a trek. The pool was great, but it closes at 8 PM, which was a bit of a bummer. My only real complaint is that my room was connected to another by a door, and the soundproofing was terrible. How could such a nice hotel have such a flaw?"

"Excellent location, right next to Constitution Square. It's close to all the attractions, and you can even walk to Chinatown in just 20 minutes. The bed was comfortable, I'm very satisfied! Highly recommend, highly recommend, highly recommend!"

"The hotel reception is spacious by Europe standards. Checkin was seamless however we had to pay for taxes at the time of checkin. Took a little while to work out the lift as the doors don’t open automatically. You had to manually open the front door to get into a reasonable small lift that catered for 2 people and 2 luggage. It reminded me of an old school type lifts seen in movies. Rather cool. Rooms looked newly renovated and modern. Pod Coffee machine with illy pods, desk, a single chair and a wall hung tv. With this said, we had a room facing the road and whether the windows didn’t close properly or the windows were very thin with no sound proofing, but the noise from the road was bad. We were on the 5th floor and every car that went by, we heard. The heavier vehicles were worse. Does not work especially if you are a light sleeper. Breakfast was average with comparison to many other hotels around the world however I would say quite sufficient by European standards. Precooked eggs, scrambled, boiled and sunny side up, basic cereal and fruit selection and bakery was a bit dry. Omelette made on order. Staff in restaurant were excellent and extremely helpful. Location was excellent for this hotel as it was walking distance from buses and train, restaurants and some markets. Communications with its reservations team was shocking. Even after 6 emails with regard to a future booking, I did not get a single reply. Eventually met the hotel manager and had the issue resolved so a big thanks to Ms. Maria. Overall, comfortable apart from the road noise. Would I book again, will not be my default hotel so I may be looking at other hotels but would not rule it out completely."

"The hotel is in an excellent location, with restaurants, shopping areas, and historical attractions all within just a few minutes’ walk. The Premium Acropolis View & Balcony room is truly worth it. The service is outstanding — we were welcomed with champagne and desserts upon arrival, which made us feel very special. From the breakfast restaurant, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Acropolis of Athens, making the dining experience even more memorable. The fresh orange juice felt unlimited, and the staff were warm and attentive — frequently refilling water and juice. There was also a wide variety of coffee options available. The only downside was that the selection of hot breakfast items was somewhat limited. It would be wonderful if the hotel could add a live cooking or made-to-order station to further enhance the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Athens, Greece — you will definitely not be disappointed."
