My wife and I had a short stay at this hotel. We ordered room service and Shalini, the person who took our order on the phone was very accommodative to our specic requirements at 10pm.
Then came the most impressive Room Service ever experienced by both of us. Aditya, took so much of personal pride to layout the food and served us. Typically we are delivered a trolley with food inside and are expected to serve ourselves. But this wonderful young *** made our late dinner extra special.
We skipped breakfast but had their buffet lunch. What a huge and appetising spread....
Once again, the service was as good as the food. Both exceptional !!
Chef Sandeep specially attended to us. He saw that we had taken Saag (spinach) so he came around and said you must hv Makki Di Roti with your Saag. Within minutes, we had freshly made Makki Di Roti at our table. The person who served us at the Del restaurant was Nikhil. Very attentive, friendly and quick to serve us.
Kudos to the hotel for infusing such a deep sense of good service and superb food quality.
Well done ji š
I stayed here for 6 nights. The hotel is quite outdated and in need of refurbishment. The room was spacious, and they provided complimentary water generously. However, the elevator was very slow, and it took a long time to go up to the room.
Unfortunately, the front office team was not helpful at all. I felt they were quite new. They arranged my car going to Taj Mahal 30 minutes late, and the front office staff insisted that I was mistaken. It was very frustrating because I had proof and a message sent to the concierge requesting the car at 5:00 AM. I ended up calling the Night Manager to report the issue.
The saving grace was the hotel driver (Ardosāapologies if I spelled his name incorrectly), who provided excellent customer service. He was very good and made sure I was comfortable throughout the journey. He is a wonderful staff member who truly goes above and beyond. He was very helpful and kind. Someone like him should be well taken care of by the management. Kudos to him!
About 25 mins drive from the airport in good traffic.
The hotel is huge, grand and luxurious. There are 2 flights of stairs to navigate from the entrance to the lobby level. Something to note for those with physical disabilities.
The room is a little small for 2 pax, though the bathroom and shower area is a good size with all amenities provided. Water pressure in the shower is good. Bed and pillows are way too soft for my liking, never a fan of beds that sink in.
Breakfast at the Capital Kitchen is a standard spread. A small selection of cold cuts, typical buffet line of American breakfast staples of sausages, baked beans and potatoes. Live station for eggs and Indian staples.
Service was excellent and friendly. Overall a comfortable stay but I do think they can go easy with the scent / perfuming, it was so strong (and pungent for me) that it gave me a bad headache.
Im visit here with my family everyone happy all staff is friendly good service and food is really yummy but only small issues pool is closed because have even but they provide pool from another hotel with transport
I had a wonderful 2-night stay at Radisson Blu, Dwarka. The check-in was smooth, the room was spacious and well-equipped, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, and the in-house restaurants served delicious food. The staff was warm and professional, making the experience even better. The location is convenient, with easy access to the metro. Overall, a luxurious and relaxing stayāhighly recommended!
I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel. I arrived late at night and was checked in within five minutes. The room was clean, with wonderful bedding and fresh linen, good toiletries, and plenty of bottled water. They even provided toothbrushes, a razor, and slippers. The only thing missing was a bathrobe.
The room itself was spacious and cozy. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with both Indian and European options, tasty fruits, and pastries. Getting to the airport is easy by metro, just one stop. It's about a 15-minute walk from the hotel to the metro station ***** a decent street, and I didn't regret not taking a taxi to the airport.
After staying in other Indian hotels during my trip, this one felt like paradise! I highly recommend it.
And a tip: the price often drops significantly closer to the check-in date.
The Taj Mahal Delhi is a beautiful hotel with splendid decor and an old school ambience. However, some of the underlying cost cutting is noticeable.
The breakfast buffet for example is anything but - with a handful of items such as bread and rudimentary cereal laid out but anything substantial needs to be ordered and it arrives in due time in small portions. It's awkward to know how many times can one order in the circumstances.
Another example occured when I changed some currency at the hotel. I expected the rate to be bad and it was, but this was not an issue. I am happy to pay for luxury and convenience. However, what irked me slightly was when the staff explained that there was no change so she couldn't give me 60 INR. It's a very small amount but I felt it was a liberty - imagine offering currency exchange at an exorbitant rate but you don't have currency.
Other than that we had a good stay. The pool was stunning as was my beautiful club suite. It was a very generous size and beautifully designed with views over the pool and Delhi beyond - a real oasis in noisy and bustling Delhi.
The club lounge is ok but not really worth paying for - the timings for high tea etc are so inconvenient that you won't be able to use them.
Overall, this was still a good stay and probably the best hotel for the price in this part of town.

24 hours concierge. Staff are friendly and helpful. I asked for ac adaptor as I bought the wrong one and the staff told me that my current one works. Order room service and get 10 percent off. Very clean and love the bath tub and facilities in the hotel. Very close to airport.
Very good breakfast, wide variety of selections. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but is conveniently connected with subway. The hotel is just next to the subway station.
I recently stayed at The Lalit New Delhi and had a fantastic experience. I chose this hotel primarily for its location, as it is incredibly convenient for attending events at the Indira Gandhi Arena. It saved me a lot of travel time and hassle.
The property itself is grand and very well-maintained. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a great view of the cityāit felt like a proper luxury experience. I was also impressed with the breakfast spread; there were plenty of delicious vegetarian options, which I really appreciated. The staff were courteous and efficient during check-in and check-out.
Overall, it was a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for luxury in central Delhi.

AAlison J BrownWhat an amazing experience this hotel is, and it is an experience in every sense of the word. Attention to detail drives everything here from the manager, who personally welcomed me, down to the trainee who asked if I need an evening āturn downā of my room. Nothing is too much trouble. The colonial era architecture and decor is beautiful in this hotel that is 123 years old, but nothing is in any way tired. The staff are awesome and the food is excellent. My room was simply the best Iāve ever stayed in.

AAnonymous UserThis was my first time booking here, and the service was pretty good. However, the hotel is quite old and dated, with a distinct musty odor. The soundproofing is also poor. Because of how the doors are designed, they close very loudly, which woke me up early every morning. There are many other hotels nearby at the same price point, so I won't be choosing this one again.

GGuest UserRoom
Very clean! Bed and pillows are comfortable. I chose one thatās far away from the lift, and on high floor with a city view. It was very quiet, and nice natural light!
Shower and toilet were very clean. Strong powerful shower with very hot water available.
Amenities
Impressive that thereās a cafe thatās opened 24/7 downstairs that serves coffee, pastries and cakes. Gave a very good option in the middle of the night, and early morning should you need to grab something fast for an early morning flight. The coffee was good.
Lovely swimming pool, meant to try it out.
Location
Excellent location only about 7 mins walk from the main shopping complex and restaurants. Very decent restaurants available there and the food court provides wide variety. I tried out a restaurant this time and it was lovely.
Service
House keeping - was very good. Early evening the team knocked on my door, very pleasant, and asked if I had any needs. Very thoughtful, and they tried best to make me comfortable.
I had an enquiry about the smart tv functions. The gentleman came promptly, and was very helpful.
Airport pick up
Raju was very prompt, polite and friendly. Thank you! Especially appreciated that the pick up arrangement just had a sign of the hotel, vs having your name displayed on a big sign, which isnāt the case with many other hotels. Very thoughtful.
(Others: Donāt really need two tables in the room. If it can be replaced with a couch/ sofa would even be better.)
Overall: very comfortable stay, friendly staff, and will come again. Thank you!
