My stay at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort was truly touched by the exceptional service of my butler, Gama. She was always so gentle and patient, quietly arranging every detail with such thoughtfulness. No matter what I needed, she responded immediately and resolved it perfectly, without any perfunctoriness. This dedication brought a wonderful warmth to my high-altitude journey.
We called ahead to let the hotel know it was our 5th wedding anniversary and hoped they could decorate the room for us. We were so pleasantly surprised when we entered – red bedding and swans folded from towels really showed the hotel's thoughtfulness. Manager Kuang even gave us a tour of the hotel garden, where we met a cute golden retriever named Zhouzhou! I wasn't dressed appropriately to pet dogs, otherwise I definitely would have played with her. We heard they're planning to build a pet park and organize some parent-child activities soon, which sounds amazing. We hope to see it on our next visit.
Special thanks to Aunt Bian Zhen from housekeeping, Manager Kuang from the front desk, and Pubu Zhaxi from security who helped us with our luggage and parking. These three were truly warm, enthusiastic, and responsible. Experiencing such excellent service in the highlands was even better than the St. Regis in Lhasa! Oh, and Miss Baima from the Liao Bar was also very lovely! We had an unforgettable anniversary.
My stay at the Crown Hotel in Linzhi truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel's surroundings were truly stunning. From the window, I could see the mountains and greenery. The lobby and room decor were warm and elegant, reflecting local characteristics. The facilities were impeccable. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. Every detail was meticulously thought out, making my stay truly comfortable.
I especially want to commend our housekeeper, Xiao Miao, for her thoughtful and caring attitude throughout the entire stay. She proactively recommended local cuisine and the hotel's amenities. Her warmth and attentiveness, like a friend, made my entire stay even more heartwarming. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Linzhi!

The front desk staff were warm and responsible. Cering Drölma (or Tsering Drolma) escorted us to our room and thoroughly explained the in-room facilities. The room was clean and tidy with a large balcony and an expansive view. Room service was also excellent; items we requested were delivered promptly, and we even received a complimentary sweet red bean soup for supper. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. We experienced both the hotel's singing bowl sound therapy and the ******* Six Healing Exercises, both of which were fantastic and helped alleviate our travel fatigue. Plus, you can see the Potala Palace from the 8th floor!

Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our 8-day, 7-night Tibet trip, the Shangri-La Lhasa was by far the best. Besides its beautiful Tibetan-style decor, what truly saved our trip was their medical room. We experienced severe altitude sickness on our second day. The hotel's medical room is staffed 24/7, and the experienced military doctor there provided us with treatment. Although the IV drip and oxygen were a bit pricey, the medicine worked wonders! The next day, all my altitude sickness symptoms – headache, weakness in limbs – were gone. We were able to smoothly continue our journey to higher altitudes like Mount Everest Base Camp. That medicine was truly miraculous!

The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' – like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended – the third shop after turning right from the hotel – was absolutely delightful.
Hampton by Hilton Shannan is a new hotel that only opened at the end of 2024. The hotel's facilities are very complete, all are intelligent voice control, the mattress is very comfortable, and very clean, the room is large, the toilet in the bathroom is a smart toilet, more advanced than the one in my house, can be remote control, remote control smart toilet This is very suitable for me, Because I'm hard on the toilet on the ordinary. We went to the hotel and gave us a free upgrade of the room type, and also sent welcome fruit. The hotel minibar's Coke Qixi, soda water mineral water is free to drink, breakfast variety is many, taste is also very good, this price is very worth it. And one thing worthy of praise is that the lobby manager also helped me book 5 rooms at Hilton Huiting Hotel Lhasa. The price is 80 yuan cheaper than the above. This service can be praised. I will stay here next time I travel to Shannan.
Big thanks to the Lhasa Intercontinental Hotel for giving us such an amazing travel experience. A special shoutout to Ms. Jennie and Ms. Zhuoga for arranging a birthday surprise that made our stay and journey incredibly memorable. We're truly grateful! Tashi Delek!
多谢酒店丰富了我们的旅程,特别感谢Ms.Jennie以及Ms.Zhuoga(卓嘎)奉上的生日惊喜,令我们的旅程万分愉悦。扎西德勒!
1. The hotel is in Suosong Village, and the room has a good view. I was lucky to see Rizhao Jinshan.
2. The service attitude is good. Butler-style service throughout the whole process.
3. The wagyu hot pot on the sixth floor is highly recommended. The ingredients are fresh and the photos are good.
4. The breakfast meals can be improved.
Spacious, comfortable room in Shigatse. The hotel was close to restaurants and they had a nice restaurant on site too. Central oxygen was supplied but only for six hours and only at night. It would have been nice to have it go for a longer time.

It can be said that the trip to Lhasa was to check in Songzan. The expectations were high before departure, but I didn't expect that I would still be amazed by the beauty here.
The housekeeper Luosang called to inquire about the arrival time before checking in, and he was already waiting at the door to greet us warmly when he arrived at the hotel. Lhasa in winter is more prone to altitude sickness than in summer. The housekeeper first took us to rest in the hotel lobby and tasted the special highland barley milk cakes and sweet tea, which was as warm as welcoming his friends to visit his home.
The battery car arrived directly at the guest room, and the door was opened with an ancient key. The ******* fragrance came out. The ******* decoration style is unique and elegant. The sunlight filled the living room through the ******* window. Language cannot describe this warm feeling.
Every Songzan person I met in the hotel is sincere and lovely. They really treat us as guests from afar, allowing us to have a more comfortable stay.
Breakfast is on the second floor, and you can overlook the Potala Palace. It's a pity that the Western restaurant on the third floor is closed recently. For dinner, I chose the ******* restaurant on the second floor. The dishes are very good. The restaurants are very quiet and the atmosphere is very good.
There is also a boutique next to the hotel lobby. The scarves from Nole and the carpets from Kavajian are worth buying.
I really don't want to leave. I will bring my family here again if I have the chance.

GGuest UserTrue to Songtsam's high standards, the butler was attentive to all our check-in needs. The hotel offers direct access to the lake, and if you're lucky, you might catch a sunset over the golden mountains. The shower could use some improvement, though.
