"It's an old hotel, so there are traces of an old resort hotel. The facilities are old, but the interior is nice. There is a hot spring on the premises, which guests can use. There are no shops nearby, so we ate at the restaurant in the hot spring facility. It's inconvenient if you don't have a car, but you can get there by bus from Shinrin-koen Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. You can also get to the Fukaya Hanazono outlet by bus, so it's a good place to enjoy hot springs and shopping relatively close to the city center."
NIPPONIA Chichibu Monzenmachi is a dispersed hotel comprising three buildings with eight rooms, nestled in a retro town evoking the Taisho and Showa eras. Buildings once beloved as pharmacies and tobacco shops retain their original features—warehouses, exposed beams, earthen walls, and Taisho-era romantic decor—creating a nostalgic and soothing atmosphere. After soothing your travel fatigue in the fully equipped cypress wood baths in every room, savor creative cuisine featuring local ingredients. We offer a journey to refresh both body and mind through strolls through the historic streetscape and experiences connecting with the rich natural surroundings.
"The hotel is very chic, the accommodation is good, this warehouse-style building is a bit uncomfortable. Chichibu is a particularly charming town, will come later, the Japanese return next to the station ♨️ is very good"
