I was a little nervous to stay here after recent reviews, I'm not sure if I was lucky with the room I got or if others look for more to complain about...but I could fault it. I have previously stayed at the Avanti Hotel but recent reviews there put me off staying. Yes the rooms are dated, most of these motel type hotels are, but the room was spotless which to me is the most important thing. We had taken some wipes to clean down surfaces etc just to be cautious but every wipe came up clean, top marks! Everything in the room worked as expected, fridge was good as was the microwave. Excellent location, we didn't use the pool but it looked good. Only slight issue was the Hurricane, the fire alarm went off twice as a false alarm...but these things happen. & there was some water leakage into the room from the door, which by our last day had caused a not very pleasant smell. But I'm not blaming the hotel for this & I assume they would have had a way to resolve this had we been staying longer & mentioned it! Our room was in block 3000, top floor facing the pool, no issues with noise - I doubt any room facing the pool would have an issue. Good view from the top floor too over to Volcano Bay. Happy to recommend the hotel for couples, families etc. I'd certainly be happy to stay here again for a future Orlando holiday!

Arrived and the refrigerator was not working, nor was the tv remote. Maintenance came the refrigerator had been turned off and the remote needed batteries. Done. Then went to Brush my teeth and the water was leaking into cabinet. Called maintenance again and they said they would repair the next day. Went to take shuttle to universal. The bus was late and smelled like gas. Picked us up late as well. The breakfast was very simple and nothing to rave about. The clerk at the front desk was very quiet and unfriendly. All in all wouldn’t recommend but location was good.

The Fairfield at Marriott Village is a great holiday. The location is so wonderful that regretfully, we did not have an opportunity to use the hotel amenities such as the pool etc. We did have breakfast daily, which had a good selection of hot items, breads and cereals. The Mickey Mouse pancakes were delicious. Our rooms were large and spacious, with great air conditioning, lovely hot showers and sufficient tv channels. The beds and rooms were very clean. It is very handy that there are washers and dryers and ice machines on every floor or every other floor. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the parks but we preferred to drive to be able to leave and return to the park, for necessary breaks in the height of the heat. Would happily stay there again. There are 2 other hotels on the property (Courtyard and Springhill). I imagine these are more upscale. I would have appreciated an offer to ”upgrade” at a nominal fee to experience.

Overall stay was good. Staff was excellent, willing to help, and courteous. Rooms and hallways were okay. Beds were kind of short. Breakfast was okay with normal food served. Yogurt had been frozen along with muffins and etc. Pool was good but not enough lounge chairs for everyone. Hot tub was nice and hot but the jets didn’t work making it more a hot pool. I would definately stay there again. No major issues and great staff.

The service is attentive and very polite. The room are spacious and the hotel has all the facilities including a 24/hr gym. Bed are comfortable with crispy linen but it is a dated facility which badly needs a change of carpeting and some bathrooms modernization. Overall a pleasant stay between flights

The hotel is JUST FINE FOR WHAT YOU PAY!! To all those thinking of lodging here, the hotel is JUST FINE FOR WHAT YOU PAID. Its clean enough (for what you paid). The staff is friendly enough (for what you paid). It's location can't be beat! The rooms (and hotel) IS dated but clean. There are clear signs that they need more cleaning and maintenance staff (dirty elevator doors and dirty room doors BUT (for what you paid), it's just fine! My point ?? This is a GREAT VALUE hotel. Nothing is amazing BUT (for what you paid), it's just fine! I've stayed at the Omni, Westgate, Orange Lake, and many NICER Orlando spots BUT (for what you paid), THIS PLACE IS JUST FINE. Ignore the negative reviews, so long as you know that this is a nice, slightly shabby, older, VALUE ESTABLISHMENT. AND IS T JUST FINE, FOR WHAT YOU PAID

The service was fine the room was very convenient when having a layover. as far as food, it was just the restaurants in the airport and not hotel food as far as I know.

Excellent location and very convenient for anyone visiting Universal Studios. Pools are a must and the hotel is very friendly overall. Highlights: airport shuttle (paid, Universal ShuttleStar), bus transportation to Citywalk all day every couple minutes (included), park early entrance (included), pools open till 10pm, market and Starbucks in the lobby. And, the biggest plus for me was the fact that they don’t have a strict check in rule: as long as they have a room available, you may check in (if you’re traveling in crazy hours with kids, this makes all the difference!). Staff is great, very friendly and helpful despite the hotel being very busy at all times. Rooms are clean - you don’t get service everyday but you can ask for anything and they leave you at your door. Again, despite the hotel being very crowded, kids running everywhere, everything was clean at all times. Will definitely stay again.

We were greeted by Franciely she was great and she took care of us and made sure we were well attended. We got a couple of frozen drinks and mixed drinks and they tasted so good! I highly recommend swinging by this bar and enjoying the fun in the sun and the great people!

Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE! We are loyal Marriott Titanium but this place should not be part of the Marriott Family. We stayed here one night before a cruise with a group of friends. I booked our room on points. We had only one charge at checkout which was a bar/restaurant charge of 57.09. We paid this charge on our credit card……Done. Now…….5 months later I have ANOTHER charge for $57.09. Have not set foot in Florida ( live in AZ) I have called “Patty” regularly ( supposedly does bookkeeping) Never available, never returned calls. This is FRAUD. Yes, Im pursuing this with my CC company but point is……what hotel randomly recharges a bill 5 months later? Of course they claim they have documentation according to my CC company. Still, have never heard from this hotel. I believe FRAUD is being committed. Consider yourselves warned!

Check in is at 6 p.m. which is truly inconvenient since check out is at 11 a.m, Our room wasn't ready until after 7 p.m. Our room had a dead roach in it. On top, you need to pay for parking which is ridiculous. When you call the front desk, it takes over 10 minutes to get anyone on the phone. The rooms are small and cramped.4 of us in a room was truly tooooo much. The room wasn't cleaned while we stayed.

We booked 6 months in advance direct with the hotel for 15 nights and got a long term room rate. we have stayed before as i said so no surprises expected. Day of arrival: Arrived late and expected top floor with city view King Bed. (Which we booked and paid for). We would have liked park view but we where turned down a few times by phone before we arrived. We where told once we gave the name that we had a hi room not top floor as they where ”first come first served”. i said we had booked a top floor king room to which the lady behind the counter said there was a ”first come first served” policy again! My wife was not happy as we had booked and paid for this direct and had an email to prove the fact and was about to lose all reason, Then a lady called Jess stepped in to sort the situation out. Jess did a bit of running around the building and came back with the room we requested, if management are reading this Jess sorted this out very quickly and very professionally give the Lady a raise. The room 2110 had great views of some of the parks in the distance, disney / epcot / volcano bay, fire works every night at 10pm. Also a great place to watch the evening storms come in. Fridge and microwave, water comp, tea and coffee faculties also. Very clean, i credit this to our room service Lady Cathrine who was very attentive to our needs over the two weeks. Again this lady deserves a raise. The pool bar Its fine, they dont bother pouring your drink if you buy for instance a coors light, it comes in a can and unless you as for it you usually dont get a plastic cup with it. (Strange) no table service in the pool area. there food consists of Pizza (no bad to be fair) nachos, turkey sub etc, staff seem more interested in watching the NFL on the 3 screens than attending customers, not a great place to relax after a long day in the parks. needs a little push. Very clean area. Small bug bears: One chair in the room and one office chair, if you want to relax in the room you have to use these two seats, i did ask the front desk early on for a second chair for the room but they said there is only one chair per room. funny like i said we have stayed here previously and the rooms did come with two chairs and a coffee table. the man behind reception said he would look into getting another one but never bothered to come back to us. some of the staff behind the reception are pure cannon fodder and some do excel at the job they have been given. The area Universal has opened up there two hotels across the road which is a welcome sight after they shut down wet and wild a few years ago. The area between kirkman and the Mcdonalds further down the road has really suffered with covid, lot of places shut down and others wanting for staff. the usual food and shops available locally, Red lobster, KFC, applebees, dennys, subway, and other junk food out lets to destroy your digestive sys

I recently stayed at a fantastic new hotel that offers an incredible experience with plenty of Universal's Epic Universe nearby. The location is perfect for those who love theme parks and attractions. The hotel provides easy access to all the nearby activities, making it a great choice for anyone visiting the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay.

Check-in Experience: Upon arrival, check-in was seamless and efficient. However, I was disappointed to find that parking came with an additional charge—an inconvenience I reluctantly accepted. That said, this is really my only significant complaint. Room: The room itself was quite basic but exceptionally clean. While housekeeping did miss our scheduled 7-day bed linen change, they were otherwise thorough and attentive. I have no complaints regarding the cleanliness or upkeep of the space. Pool Area: The pool area, especially in the evenings, was a highlight of our stay. The pool was maintained at a comfortable temperature and was spacious enough to accommodate plenty of guests. We never had an issue finding a sun lounger, and the late-night swims after a day at the parks were a real treat. Location: The location was ideal—much better than I initially expected. Though I was concerned we might be too far up International Drive, it turned out to be quite convenient, particularly with its proximity to I-4. Complimentary Shuttles: The complimentary shuttle service was outstanding. We never waited more than five minutes, and it was a great convenience to leave the car behind, especially if we wanted to enjoy a drink while out. Dining: I approached the on-site food court with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised by the quality. In fact, the meals here were better than some of the ones we had along International Drive. Overall In summary, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it as a no-frills, basic resort. It’s not a luxury destination, but it is clean, well-maintained, and staffed by friendly professionals. A solid, reliable accommodation option.

The hotel is decent but there were ssues with the bar and restaurant. When we booked our reservation we read that breakfast is included or you can pay to have breakfast included. But it isn't. In fact, when we arrived at breakfast the buffet wasn't set up. There wasn't even any coffee. When we spoke with the server he said that this was due to COVID. However, if you read the reviews from other guest you will see that they had a buffet available during the pandemic. The staff members in the restaurant and at the bar were not friendly. I recommend that management improving the working conditions of their employees. Happy employees equals happy customers.

Hotel location is good, parking is adequate. The interior of the hotel is very clean, the bedding is extremely comfortable and the space is large, with sofas, desks and chairs. There are many sockets, and the bedside lamp is equipped with a USB connector, which is convenient for mobile phone charging. WIFI is fast. Breakfast was rich, with hot porridge, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs. Drink variety, satisfied.

I had high hopes for this hostel but on my arrival I was brought down to reality. There were a few issues, from the girl on check-in not being engaging or friendly at all seemed more interested in her phone & could only conjure up one word reply’s to my questions. Our room seemed half done, this is a hotel that freehand has only half renovated, the 4 bed dorm had great beds but the bathroom had not been renovated since the 70’s. What Can I say about the air conditioning even on the lowest setting it was like a train was travelling through the room the whole night, I had to wear ear plugs & even then I found it difficult to sleep. The wifi was also nonexistent in our room to not have wifi in room in 2022 is unacceptable I had to regularly go to the main reception area just to send a few messages. The outdoor area was nice with a cool bar and swimming pool, that was the only redeeming feature of the property.

I had made a booking through ***********, the hotel took the money from my bank account on the day before we arrived (6am) at the hotel. We arrived at the hotel after a long trans Atlantic flight and upon check in the staff member asked for payment again, at this point I informed her that I had paid earlier that day. We were told we had to pay again for any damages and would get this returned upon checkout. I tried pay again but at this point my credit card would not authorise (highly likely it knew it was a second payment of the day) and due to my card being an internet based card and not having numbers upon I had to log onto the hotels wifi in order to hand over my banking app to pay this second charge. Anyway after this we were given a room on the 2nd floor and as soon as we came out of the lift all you could smell was *********. We opened the room and the smell was so strong we had to go back to the desk to ask to change rooms. The receptionist understood and instantly apologised and changed us to a different floor. The hotel overall is in a good location for food, shops etc The hotel itself is clean but the rooms are basic, there were no plugs in the bedroom area. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was better than I expected.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and provided free shuttle to the airport. It was a very good deal for the money.

Our room faced the hotel yard so it was quiet. The hotel is basic and dated but it offers great value for the price. Other hotels around are 2-3 times more expensive. The bed comfort could be better. Multiple eateries in walking distance. There is also a free trolley that takes you to South Beach. It takes 15-20 min depending on traffic. We would stay here again.

We booked the Hampton inn hotel for 5 days. We arrived to Miami in the early afternoon and were quickly greeted at the reception with warmth and a beautiful welcome. It took a few minutes and we received all the information we needed for our stay and keys to the room. A beautiful and spacious room, very clean, a spotless bathroom equipped with many towels of all sizes, hair dryer, soaps and everything needed for bathing. The room has a TV, small fridge, safe, iron, coffee machine and more. American style breakfast, nothing was missing. The day before our return flight I was attacked by severe stomach pains and I went to the hospital, where I had emergency surgery that forced us to stay for several more days. The reception staff immediately checked and reserved the room for us until we could leave. When I was released from the hospital, we realized that the room we had was not suitable for recovery and we asked if we could get another room. It should be noted that it was a weekend and the hotel was full. The reception staff went above and beyond, did not give up and even contacted the management until they found a suitable room and also stated that they would not charge us in the price difference. I would especially like to mention Jose and Francisco who helped us above and beyond with sending and printing documents we needed. They responded quickly and efficiently to every request. In addition, the hotel is close to many attractions and points of interest. Highly recommended
