The room's decor is thoughtfully designed and very comfortable, with tall, floor-to-ceiling windows offering beautiful city views. The lobby staff were warm and attentive. There's a free MetroMover station near the hotel, which makes getting around very convenient.

The most important thing is that when I checked out, I had to charge my vacation tax repeatedly. I showed them the details of the order email, but they still insisted on collecting it. In the end, I had to call the order platform to solve the problem.

The room was quite spacious and offered excellent views. The hotel's location is fantastic, making it super convenient for getting around. The area around the hotel looks especially beautiful at night. The front desk staff were very attentive and helpful. Parking was convenient, though it wasn't cheap.
directly across the street from the beach/ocean. nice pool setting on fifth floor took advantage of a great massage/spa not far from Ft Lauderdale airport

The front desk actually remembers the face, the hardware is general but the service is really intimate. The location is very convenient in the city center. I want to live on the beach and go to the miami beach.

This has been and is my favorite hotel in Miami! The location is in the center of Brickell right next to the mall. So it’s possible to walk around. I love the location! The amenities are amazing! I love the pool, I love the gym and the restaurants and bars as well. The rooms are super clean and have a beautiful aesthetic! The entire hotel smells amazing and looks luxurious and amazing as well. You can rent the city bikes for free and have amazing views from the balcony. The rooms are spacious. The staff is very kind! By far my favorite hotel in Miami!

Exceptional hotel. The only drawback is that it doesn't have the benefits of Disney's resorts (it only offers early entry - which doesn't make as much difference as the other DR's privileges).
The room was OK, Japanese style, clean, good environment, but the service was not good. No one was serving at the front desk at night. The hotel is located in the Nobu Hotel building, and the two hotels share the same building.

Very nice hotel in the business center of Miami. Very close to the bay. Free light rail. Light rail to the airport (orange line) is very convenient and cheap. Many restaurants nearby. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Outdoor pool. Excellent restaurant.
Was hoping for more children playgrounds and areas where toddlers could play besides swim. There were a lot of kids at the hotel who probably would have enjoyed other areas.
Overall very nice hotel and beautiful golf courses

Amazing
Ccm2024As people who travel regularly, we place a lot of emphasis on other reviews when booking. I was rather concerned reading previous reviews of this property, but having stayed at multiple other Ritz Carlton’s (Singapore, Koh Samui, Dalllas, Melbourne etc) we hoped the brand would live up to expectations and great experiences at other properties. IT DID NOT!
Strongly suggest avoiding this property at all costs. Look at the low ranked reviews, they all make sense to me after staying.
This property has us questioning if we would ever stay with this brand again. Amazing isn’t it, how one property can tarnish a brands reputation.
We have been overcharged after checkout after settling the bill when leaving (unresolved at this point but will get to that later).
The first room we checked into had air conditioning so loud you could not hear the TV. It was also dirty with marks and dust/grime on every surface and excess dog hair on the floor. I went to the front desk and the best they could do was “send someone up to check the A/C. The property was practically empty. This was not good enough!
I was fortunate enough to speak with the GM who remedied the room situation immediately. We then dealt with Daniel (who was on loan from Santa Barbara Ritz Carlton) he was a great reflection on the brand. He upgraded us, which was appreciated but not expected, just a room with a reasonable a/c would have been fine.
Rooms are very average, worn and not clean. Linen was stained, towels so old some had tears and holes in them.
The majority of the staff seemed like they would rather be anywhere else than at the Ritz Carlton South, can’t say I blame them but really let the place down.
When dining they would bring the bill before we had finished dining over and over, at times even advising their break was about to start so needed to provide bill, how about you get another staff member to do this…
Upon checkout I paid with an alternate card than I used for the security deposit (to avoid international transaction fees). I settled the bill of approx $450usd and away we went.
A few days later, a charge of $390usd (approx) appears on my original card used for security deposit (along with an international transaction fee). This charge is absolute rubbish and was not warranted, everything was settled and paid on check out.
I rang and rang and rang all day to the hotel and the phone was never answered. Finally I had to call and international call centre where the wind noise in the background was so loud I could hardly hear. I was then told the extra was for bar charges (not ours!) we had one whisky and a coke at the bar which was on my bill at checkout. I was then told they would try to contact hotel and hopefully in up to 2 weeks they would respond to the call centre, and sometime after to me. This from Ritz Carlton? Disgraceful.
We then got lucky and got the US call centre. This was much more helpful and the agent advised the hotel would call back the same day. Still no call back from Hotel, no explanation of why my card was charged… no invoice, no receipts.
Now I need to go through the process of disputing the transaction with my bank. Really?
The old saying one bad apple spoils the cart, couldn’t be more true of the Ritz Carlton South Beach. There were many other disappointing things that happened during the stay that isn’t even worth going into. Such an epic disappointment from this brand.
I am hoping this property reaches out as promised but it holding my breath.
Do better Ritz Carlton South Beach!
Not wanting to end on such a sour note. Daniel (from RC Santa Barbara) was a standout for guest service as was Noela at the Valet, both embody what guest expect from RC.
Yyuna82We also used the private beach! Please note that service to both the pool and beach ends at 5pm. It was great that there were refillable bottles in the room and water could be refilled anywhere in the hotel! It's more eco-friendly than plastic bottles. We upgraded to a spacious junior suite, which was a great choice! Our family of four had plenty of room to spare. The bathroom was spacious, with a separate shower and chair. The amenities also had a nice scent.
It was easily accessible from the airport, and we arrived in about 15 minutes by Uber for about 3,500 yen!
From our room, we could see the neighboring tower apartment building and the beach.
GGuest UserMust give a good review! The room is really nice, the service attitude is not as bad as mentioned in the comment section, and the environment is also very good. The beach is almost deserted, but the scenery is okay even if it is not a private beach. Although there are fallen leaves in the swimming pool, it is not very dirty. My skin is very sensitive but it was fine after swimming. Someone will clean the mats around the pool in the morning. Highly recommended
DdiudiutuThe newly opened hotel, located on Marathon Island, has a very good environment. It is nearly 7 miles from the bridge. You can go from Miami to Key West and take a rest. The hotel can directly sign up for diving, kayaking, fishing, cycling and other recreational activities (charges). The hotel charges USD 33.75 / night resort fee and USD 20 / night parking fee.
NNanjipangqieThe location of the hotel is of high quality, and the facilities and environment are good. The bedding is clean and comfortable, and the typical American breakfast in the morning is very comfortable to sit outside and enjoy. Worth a visit!
DDeehanSuperb facilities and location. Rooms exceptional and housekeeping staff great! A workforce (and teams) of two halves - some friendly and helpful, others rude and dismissive of guests - equally felt as if some staff were working harder than others and a lot of ‘standing around’ by the work shy crew members pretending to be busy doing very little. Could be an amazing experience if service (and staff training) was consistent.
AAnonymous UserA very surprising vacation experience. The hotel park is very large and the green environment is very beautiful! The swimming pool is large, has ladders and has its own rafting area. Children can go there every day and stay in the hotel all day and feel very relaxed.
It's very close and convenient to go to the Disneyland.
JJiumijiang9mYou must stay at this hotel when you go to Universal Studios!!
The hotel room card is the Universal Express Pass, very affordable
The hotel is very large and the swimming pool is heated
There are buses and water taxis directly to Universal
Very convenient, equivalent to living in Universal
You can enter and exit the park many times a day
GGuest UserAll great reviews except the air went out while I was preparing for my son's wedding. 79 degrees in my gown and my husband's tux. Every night there were charges on my room, and I had to spend time at the front desk to clear them up. I had one car and they continued to charge me for 2.
Overall this hotel was magnificent! These things happen. I would definitely recommend it!
MMella-CacabelosMy review is a little late but My husband and I with our 2 kids, stayed at the W and we had a great experience. We were there the last week of July. We stayed for 8 days. The hotel is beautiful, very upscale. Lots of amenities. From when we checked in, everyone was super nice. We had a great view of the beach from our Balcony. We stayed on the 21st floor and our floor was very quiet. Our room was very clean, always smelled good as soon as you would walk out of the elevator into the hallways. Hotel was very clean. Our room was always serviced. The room was super nice. Great access to the beach. Valet service was great, everyone was super nice. We did not eat at the hotel though because it was pretty pricey. Overall we had a great experience and definitely would return back to the W in the future.
