I had an unexpected allergy to cat dander at a friend's place during my trip to Melbourne, so I booked this hotel very last minute. To my surprise, the overall experience was much better than I expected. The hotel's location is right in the heart of Melbourne. Stepping out, you're immediately in Chinatown, surrounded by Asian supermarkets, a variety of Chinese restaurants, major domestic bubble tea brands, and even the city's largest department store with many famous brands. There's even an Arc'teryx store right across from the hotel, which was a pleasant surprise! Transportation is super convenient too. Just a short walk from the hotel, you'll find tram and bus stops. Since I booked it at a low price and found this hotel in a hurry, I initially thought I'd just make do, but it was genuinely a pleasant surprise. The hotel lobby's fragrance is on par with five-star hotels. The front desk even has a self check-in machine, which is quite convenient. You can also request an extra key card to keep the power on or for a companion. This was really great for an introvert like me! 😂 You need to swipe your card to access each floor, so safety is also good. The room isn't huge, but it's fair for the price. The cleanliness was also good; the toilet and bathroom were surprisingly spotless. The only minor drawback is that if you turn on the air conditioning at night, it can be noisy, and the soundproofing from the hallway isn't great either. Overall, the value for money is good. It's very suitable for those who don't demand perfect accommodation but prioritize convenient travel and easy access to Chinese food.

We booked a King Standard hotel for this trip as we have the special rate from Trip.com. Before we arrived we received an email from Trip urging us to write an email to ask for early check in as we also booked an airline ticket thru Trip. When arrived in hotel ard 9.45 am we were offered a room ( with immediate availability ) but with a payment of AUD 50. When I asked for a twin bed room as usually King and Twin Bed will have same rate, but not this hotel. If we were to change the bed style we have to pay AUD 30/night for 5 nights 😅😅another AUD 150. Enough for all the morning communications so we just ignore the bed details and went straight to our room after the payment. On the day we checked out we came to know that the front officer recharged our hotel fee even when Trip.com confirmed that everything was fully paid. What a money maker hotel!! Front officer told us they will refund us the amount though. However the room is small and nice and everything was up to international 4 standard but Crown Casino Tower has a much more beautiful and bigger room. Though both have stunning nice view of the Yarra River as in attached.

I recently stayed at Citadines on Bourke Melbourne for 8 nights and overall had a good experience, which I would rate around 4 out of 5 stars. The location is excellent and the hotel offers good value for a stay in Melbourne’s CBD. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, and I appreciated that housekeeping was provided every two days rather than daily, which I was perfectly happy with. However, there were a few areas where the experience could be improved. Housekeeping was somewhat inconsistent during my stay. On several occasions, floor towels were not replaced, some areas of the room appeared to be missed during cleaning, pillow covers were not changed when expected, and not all toiletries were refilled. It was frustrating to discover there was no soap or shampoo while already in the shower, requiring a call to reception and a wait for replenishment. The shower itself could also be improved, as the hot water temperature fluctuated quite noticeably between hot and cold, making it difficult to maintain a comfortable shower. There were also a couple of minor inconveniences upon arrival. The parking, while available, costs approximately AUD $45 per day and the process of locating and accessing it was somewhat confusing on the first day. Additionally, there was no HDMI cable in the room, which meant I had to request one from reception. Housekeeping also occasionally forgot to clear the trash, which added to the inconsistency of the service. The kitchenette could also be better equipped. I found the dustbin to be quite small for an extended stay, the knives were not very sharp, and there was no chopping board provided, which made preparing meals less convenient. On a positive note, after our 8-night stay, the hotel was able to provide us with a complimentary one-hour late checkout, which was appreciated and helped end the stay on a better note. Despite these issues, the staff were generally helpful when assistance was needed, and the overall stay was pleasant. With a little more attention to housekeeping consistency, maintenance, and guest amenities, this hotel could easily provide an even better experience. Overall, I would still consider staying here again due to the great location and comfortable accommodation.

I arrived at late check-in time on 2/11 Sunday and Mildua Inlander's staff was after office hour so I contacted to staff for room check-in by phone call, Staff are so helpful to help me to collect the room key and required admin work. However, due to the resort's layout and my room location(my room is ROOM 90), the circulation of the hotel is not poor, poor room ordering(it is not by 101 for on 1/F like typical hotel, it is using 1-50 for G/F, 51-100 for level 1; if 101-110 for block 1, 121-129 for block 2, 131-139 for block 3, 141-150 for block 4 would be better), no coherent corridor at the end, not much signage and map/easy to miss, no Lift or easy ramp for level 1. so, it is hard to find my room and poor experience before entry the room. Room is good for me. One thing is: can consider to have openable window after the mosquito net on the balcony sliding door if I don't want to turn on the air-conditioner.

My spouse and I stayed here during Golden Week. We arrived at Melbourne Airport around 5 AM and took the SkyBus to Southern Cross Station. The hotel was close to the station, which was super convenient. The facilities were a bit old, but cleanliness wasn't an issue at all. The elevator was incredibly vintage; it actually made us laugh! We had booked a one-bed room, but they upgraded us to a much more spacious two-bed room, which was a pleasant surprise. Having a bathtub was also a big plus. It even came with a kitchen. For Melbourne, the price was quite affordable, and we had a very comfortable stay.

Unexpectedly comfortable! The room is spacious, the kitchenware is complete, and the bedding is comfortable. It is so comfortable to enjoy the massage chair and bathtub after climbing the mountain! There are often dozens of ducks playing in the small pond outside the French window, kangaroos jumping on the lawn from morning to night, and flocks of parrots and beautiful birds.

Exceeded my expectations! Although the location isn't the most convenient and it's a bit far from the city, the environment is absolutely wonderful, and I really loved the room. Breakfast was also quite good. All in all, this place is truly excellent.

NOTE FOR EVERYONE : $150 DEPOSIT This property should update deposit policy on booking app. When I booked it, I called the hotel regarding deposit and they said it depends on the room I've booked, and the deposit will be between $1-100. When I came in, I need to pay $150 for deposit which is wrong information from them before. It's better to state it clearly on booking app so everyone can prepare for it. Deposit payment return to my account in 7 days. There is no issue with other things when I stayed in this hotel. My family really loved it. The tram stop just in front of the hotel and only takes 10 minutes to CBD. We stayed in Family 2 bedroom that has city view on 10th floors. Facilities are great, it has washing and dryer machines which is really helpful for someone that has baby or kids. For budget hotel, I would say this is the best experience and value that I've ever stayed in Melbourne. I paid $177 for 2 bedroom on the weekend stayed. Definitely will be back someday. Getting here by light rail is very convenient, but the metro station is a bit of a walk, about 15 minutes away. Parking downstairs is also difficult, which can be inconvenient if you've booked a pick-up/drop-off service. The room is fully equipped with an open-plan kitchen and a washing machine, plus a small balcony with a view. My only complaint is that the toiletries were a bit lacking. They only provided a few bars of soap and shampoo. I was really expecting body wash... Since it's an apartment-style accommodation, there's no room service. You also have to take out your own trash bags to the building's rubbish chute. I felt the everyday essentials were a little too basic. The front desk staff's tone was a bit cold, almost indifferent. Perhaps that's just a Melbourne characteristic, but I still find it a bit off-putting.
