4-Star Hotels in North Sumatra, Indonesia

We have glued to this hotel for the last 2 or 3 years😀, everything is good, nothing to complain about. From arrival to check out, all staffs are well trained and functioning well. In this 2026, we have done 2 trips to Medan and stayed here + got the same room as I requested. We are coming back on 20 May and hopefully will get the same room too😊😊

The hotel is relatively new, and the room size and layout are excellent. The staff also provide good service. However, on the second day after it rained, the cold water was very dirty, although the hot water was fine. The location is right next to the train station, but if you walk from the station to the hotel, even though it's not far, the road isn't very pedestrian-friendly (there are barely any sidewalks, and lots of motorbikes).

I stayed for 10 nights, a pleasant stay in general. Only in 10 nights the bed linen didn't change as it should be. The staffs really made your stay feel comfortable. I would stay in Aryaduta again in the future.

This hotel represents exceptional value for money, with quality rooms and exceptional services. I stayed 3 nights in April 2026, and i have wonderful view on the 8 floor. This trip was combination of business and pleasure. The breakfast had a range of options, catering for western and Indonesian tastes. However, it would be nice if milk was refrigerated, as with other Marriot group properties in Bal. There is a supermarket across the street and very large hypermarket about 5 minute walk from the hotel. An excellent bakery is 2 minute walk from the hotel. This hotel is not near major shopping malls, but they can be easily reaching via a grab taxi for about $2 in 10 mins. The bed was super comfy and arm chair was great. However, the desk height was not really appropriate and do not sufficient for business work. However, I completed most work in the armchair with pillows for the laptop. Excellent range of TV channels including BBC and CNN. An ice bucket costs 50,000 IDR. ($4 Aus dollars) I used the pool which was great on 2nd floor with city views. Unfortunately, the hotel is situated on extremely busy road and be careful when walking on the sidewalks (footpaths), it can be easy to fall. Still, I would highly recommended this hotel for the price paid and outstanding service and room quality for 4 star establishment. .

Everything was satisfactory overall. The only thing that needs attention is the bathroom; water tends to pool on the floor around the sink and toilet area after showering.

Conveniently located from the train station (though we used Grab). Loved the availability of WatsApp with the hotel, they responded promptly. Despite 1 set of toiletries for 2 guest, seemed a little silly. The housekeeper are always very kind to provide more when requested. Excellent masseuse at the Spa on L2. Breakfast buffet is sumptuous though the 'top up' is slow after 9am. Centre point Centre shopping mall is just right behind the hotel.. with variety of f&b, shops & korean supermarket.

Whenever we choose a serviced apartment in Medan, this property is always our first choice. We have stayed here multiple times and continue to return because of its affordable pricing, convenient location, and consistently clean rooms. The apartment offers good value for money, especially for travelers or families looking for a comfortable place to stay without spending too much. The location is also practical, making it easy to access nearby shops, restaurants, and main areas in the city. Overall, our experiences here have been positive, and the cleanliness standards have been reliable during our stays. The only downside we have noticed is that the lift can be quite slow, especially during busy hours, which sometimes requires extra waiting time. Despite this minor inconvenience, we still consider this serviced apartment a dependable and worthwhile choice whenever we visit Medan.

This Aiho hotel is so comfortable and always my top choice that it often gets fully booked because the service and rooms are just that good!

We didn't use much of the facilities to comment much. The food selection for breakfast was good, and they provide a takeaway breakfast option should u want to opt for that to bring on your hike up the mountain. The rooms can get a little noisy as they face the poolside and if you have. a party or loud chatter going on outside, can be heard Nonetheless the room was big, room service was good, no complains
