The room was very clean and spacious, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. Toiletries were provided, so you wouldn't need to bring your own unless you have very specific requirements.
One highlight was the excellent view from the sea-view room. You could see the customs checkpoint where cars lined up in long queues at night, resembling a winding, fiery dragon.
The apartment has a kitchen with basic cooking utensils. If you're staying for a while and want to cook, you can just buy some seasonings and start right away.
The kitchen's balcony has a washing machine with a drying function, and there's an iron in the room. The large balcony also features a retractable clothes rack, which is very convenient. A TV is also provided in the room.
Another thing worth mentioning is the beautiful complex itself, which has a rubber track. Taking a stroll in the evening with the sea breeze was very pleasant. There's a skybridge connecting the complex to a shopping mall, so dining isn't an issue. The mall also has a supermarket, making it convenient for groceries.
If you plan to go to Singapore, you can simply follow the signs through the skybridge to the mall and then directly to JB Central. From there, it's a 5-minute train ride straight to Singapore.
This place is suitable for young travelers, family vacations, or even seniors looking for a long-term stay.

Hi I've stayed in this hotel before, it was great. But this time the safety deposit box in the assigned room was faulty. The staff who attended was the front desk staff that processed my check in. She was prompt & fast after rectifying, issue still persisted, she proceeded to change another room for me. Instead of going down to the lobby to get new set of card key, she allow me inside the new room while she wenr to the lobby to configure the new setnof card key. Shortly she came up & pass me the card key. I tested all ok. Very good service provided. I will stay again in my next trip. The breakfast was good & filling too. Except the wedges were cold. Other than that, all good.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I'm still very satisfied. The service quality is consistently good, and the breakfast selection is quite rich. It offers great value for money. Its biggest advantage is being right next to KSL shopping mall, making dining, shopping, massages, and other entertainment super convenient. Plus, there are plenty of street-side shops around, so it's incredibly easy to grab bak kut teh or durian. I'll probably stay here again next time I visit.
The front desk staffs are very friendly and informative. The lobby area is big and comfy with a coffee vending machine. Need to travel out of this hotel to get lunch/dinner/supper and shopping and entertainment. The car park for hotel are at 1st level that are free for hotel guests.
Our king size beds are very big. The rooms are big too. There is hair dryer in the toilet. The curtain in the shower is old and dirty but usable. The towels are old and not white anymore. House slippers are given but one pair looks dirty or being used. Housekeeping staffs are helpful and friendly.
The TV not easy to operation or the channels need sometime to load. The next building(residential) is so close that we have to keep our curtains close all the time.
The swimming pool and breakfast cafe are located at 5th level that are common area with the residents.
The cafe is non Aircon and is open concept, their fans are cooling enough for comfortable for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is simple and tasty. Not alot of variety but enough to be full.
The hot Spring is great, very hot. It has 2 normal pools inside and a sauna room. There's toilets and showers too. Friday and Saturday timming is 4pm to 10pm.

We’ve stayed here previously but this is the worst 2-nights stay in the old wing of Grand Paragon! The housekeeping staff did not clean the dusty fabric headboard which I had to do so with it’s layers of dust. There were missing glass tumbler, slippers, tissue paper & the safe-box was locked, too. The shower curtains were too short so water tends to spill out. We were given 1 extra pillow when we requested for extra 2 pillows as it was too flat. Their excuse was that it was the hotel’s policy even though the hotel was half empty! Housekeeping did not clean our room even with the Clean-up sign on our door on the 2nd day. Reception was informed of it in the evening when we came back to our room. They had the audacity to say that we were going to check-out the next day (3rd day), anyway! We had 2 full dust-bin of rubbish, no shampoo, bath gel, bath towels, hand towels, wc paper, etc & we desperately needed to take a shower. Eventually Housekeeping brought the items & meekly apologise that he was the Evening Shift staff. We understood his situation, thank & tip him for his assistance. The next day, we tried the gym. It’s windows had dust streaks & were very dirty, too. Some of the exercising seats were cracked & uncomfortable.
Breakfast was nice at the cafe with freshly ground coffee, Nasi lemak, noodles & fresh bread. Avoid the ones in the coffee/tea pots as it’s diluted and tasted unfresh. The staff were quite friendly.
Stay here, if you can over-look this dirty environment.
This is not my first stay at St. Giles Southkey Johor, and it remains one of my favourite hotels in Johor. Once again, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience. The online customer service was very helpful, which I truly appreciate.
However, I feel that the breakfast buffet could use some changes, as the selection has been the same for quite some time and can feel a little repetitive.
Overall, I still enjoy staying here and would return again.

The environment here is beautiful, it's just a shame the swimming pool upstairs is a bit damaged. If that could be fixed, it would be absolutely perfect. The security is also very professional, with security guards patrolling 24 hours a day.

The staff and the level of service was excellent but the property clearly needs some further investment to match the quality of the service the staff give. All were polite, courteous, friendly and helpful This is a massive hotel with amazing facilities that just requires a little more strategic planning for maintenance and support from the group to the management. The location and opportunities that will arise from further investment, particularly the closeness of international borders, should be re-visited by the group owners following the pandemic. This would be with the forthcoming Singapore MRT expanding into Malaysia in the next couple of years.
Overall, a pleasant place to stay.
Offers a modern, comfortable living environment with spacious layouts and resort-style facilities. Connected to amenities, malls, and transport options. Security is reliable, and the landscaped areas create a pleasant atmosphere for families. Overall, it’s a well-designed development that balances lifestyle, convenience, and value for residents.

Overall quite good, especially the location. However strange thing is that can heard water draining sound when in room, which we assume that it’s when upstairs room guest is showering as it’s only for about 10 min each time. So not too sure if it’s due to the soundproofing or drainage problem. Otherwise all else is ok.

Great
Room was bright and spacious, toilet very clean and functioned well. Facilities were quite perfect - we enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi + the legendary breakfast spread which really represented local cuisine at it's best! The distance to the shopping malls was very convenient. Overall, the attitude and demeanour of all the staff was pleasant. Minor issues: - One of the beds was very sandy under the quilt. I only discovered it quite late at night so didn't take the effort to call housekeeping and slept on top of the quilt instead. - The service staff at breakfast kept clearing our table completely, re-setting it and even attempting to give it away to another customer when we went to take more food, despite the occupied/reserve signage. When requested not to, they simply gave excuses that they were merely tidying up. This happened 3 times with the same service staff and made us quite frustrated.

We had a great stay at Hotel Granada Bukit Indah! It’s super convenient—just a short walk to AEON Mall and close to plenty of cafes, shops, and even Sutera Mall is just a short drive away. We stayed in Room 918, which had a lovely view and was spacious and clean. We really appreciated that the room wasn’t carpeted—it feels fresher and is actually our preference too. Service was prompt and friendly; we requested an extra pair of slippers and they brought it up quickly without fuss. The buffet breakfast was decent, with a good enough variety to start the day. All in all, a solid stay for the price and location—would definitely return.
We had a nice stay at the St Giles Midvalley Southkey. The hotel is very popular, and you can see it in the rooms and staff especially when it's later in the day. The best part of the hotel is its proximity to Midvalley Southkey mall. The hotel rooms are a decent size, but the towels and fittings are not new anymore, the carpet is showing signs of wear, and the bathroom is a strange open shower/sink/toilet bowl design. Nice gym and view, together with the infinity swimming pool on the roodtop, but note that it is a very cold swim due to the windchill. Breakfast buffet is very good, plenty of choices, but very crowded after 7.30am. Would love to stay again when room rates are closer to my expectations.
I recently stayed at Ramada by Wyndham Meridin Johor Bahru, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is ideal—just minutes away from Legoland, Medini Mall, and other attractions, which made it perfect for both relaxation and sightseeing. The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water, good-quality toiletries, and a well-stocked minibar. The views from the higher floors are lovely, offering a peaceful cityscape or greenery, depending on your room. The service was top-notch—staff were polite, attentive, and always willing to help with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The hotel also has excellent facilities, including a nice outdoor pool, gym, and a great on-site restaurant with a wide variety of local and international dishes for breakfast. Everything was well-maintained and clean. If you're visiting Johor Bahru for leisure or business, Ramada Meridin is a solid choice. It offers great value for money, comfort, and hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning!
Check in took abit long was troublesome to wait until 3pm with 4 tired senior citizens after a long jam at causeway. Otherwise the stay was great. My family enjoyed the stay. Bed was very comfortable for their tired bodies. They want to return again to stay soon.
We stayed here on the day of my son’s 4th birthday. We were told that our room would take an extra 30 minutes for birthday decorations, but we were taken aback that the towel decorations alone took 30 minutes to set up. We also requested connecting rooms, but since we had booked king rooms, they were unable to change one of our king rooms to a twin and told us to rebook. However, the rooms are big, spacious, and clean. They come with a sofa that can fit an adult to rest on. The pool and the small playground next to it were great for keeping our kids entertained. The breakfast spread was good, with a lot of choices. Location-wise, it is very good. There were supermarkets, plenty of food options (many outside the hotel), and even a laundromat.

The highlight of my stay was the customer service. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel's overall atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly.
From the moment we entered the hotel lobby, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating . impressed . the surrounding were stunning . The room interior decor warm and inviting. The family room that we booked was spacious and clean with comfortable double beds and linens. The room was overlooking the ocean which had a fabulous view. There is a kettle, a small fridge and pair of bend chair . The bathroom was nicely decorated with unique tiles white n black theme . we were delighted by large pool facing the beach . we enjoyed our stay by chilling and relaxing 🫶🏻
