I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the room. The room is spacious with a studio-style layout, featuring a sleeping area, living space, small kitchenette, and one bathroom. The in-room amenities are nearly complete — it comes with a mini fridge and other essentials, making it comfortable for both short and extended stays. I booked a sea view room and the view was absolutely stunning. The location is also very convenient, only a 3-5 minute drive to Kuantan city center when there’s no traffic. Finding food is easy too, with several restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The only downsides were that check-in took a bit longer due to a long queue, and parking was a little challenging since it was very crowded, likely because of the weekend. Other than that, there wasn’t much to complain about. Overall, the hotel offers comfort, complete facilities, and a strategic location. This will definitely be one of my favorite stays whenever I’m in Kuantan.

Happy to stay here even just one night, we went there on weekdays it's not crowded at all. Room is clean and well designed. Breakfast is buffet line. you can pick whatever you want and for the taste itself i will just say it's standard. Location is not far from eating place but takes around 30 mins to go to genting. Some downside here.. there's construction site on the way to hotel so, road is quite bumpy, lots of hole, dust and the room that i got is connected room sometimes when others room laughing too loud, We also hear them 🤣

My recent stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan was a pleasant and memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, the hotel gave a comfortable, modern, and welcoming impression. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk team was professional, helpful, and efficient. Their warm attitude immediately made the stay feel positive, especially after a long journey. The hotel’s overall environment was clean, calm, and well maintained. The lobby had a simple yet elegant design, creating a relaxing atmosphere without feeling overcrowded or overly formal. It is the kind of hotel that feels practical for both business and leisure travellers. The location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby food outlets, shops, and key areas around Kuantan. This made moving around much easier and helped make the short stay more enjoyable. The room was one of the highlights of the stay. It was clean, comfortable, and well arranged. The bed was cosy and provided a good night’s rest. The pillows and bedding were soft, fresh, and suitable for a relaxing overnight stay. The room design was simple but functional, with enough space to move around comfortably. Everything felt neat and properly prepared before arrival, which showed that the housekeeping team had done a good job. The bathroom was also clean and practical. The water pressure was good, and the basic amenities were sufficient for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness is always one of the most important factors in any hotel stay, and AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan managed to meet expectations well. There were no major issues, and the room felt properly maintained throughout the stay. Another positive point was the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel provided a good environment to rest after a busy day. Whether for a short business trip, weekend getaway, or family overnight stay, the hotel offers the right balance of comfort and convenience. It does not feel overly complicated, which is a strength. Everything is straightforward, clean, and reliable. The staff also deserve recognition. They were polite, responsive, and ready to assist when needed. Good service does not always need to be dramatic; sometimes, simple efficiency and professionalism are enough to create a strong impression. The team at the hotel managed to deliver that well. Overall, my stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan was a good one. The hotel offered a clean room, comfortable bed, convenient location, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere. It is a hotel I would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant stay in Kuantan. For travellers who value cleanliness, comfort, and practical convenience, this hotel is definitely a solid choice. It was a happy and comfortable overnight stay, and I would not hesitate to return again in the future.

We have a great time here as the place is walking distance to sky avenue. There are buggy car service at the link brigde for a distance, reducing the walking distance needed. However, buggy service is not always available. Depends on your luck. The driver was very friendly n willing to wait for us. We also like the view from the balconcy. It was practically only cloud 9. Great experience for the price paid. Spacious n sercure parking. Parking was afforable at only RM5 Per day / entry. Payable by credit card for great convenience.

Overall Review: Great Views, But a Noticeable Gap Between Experience and Expectations Overall, this stay had clear pros and cons. The hotel’s location and scenery are undeniably excellent, but there is still considerable room for improvement in areas such as traffic flow planning, facility details, service experience, and privacy management. Given the Ascott brand management and a room rate of RM1,100+ per night, we had expected a more premium accommodation experience. Unfortunately, the actual stay fell short of expectations and did not fully reflect the price point. Pros 1. Excellent Location and Scenic View The hotel is strategically located along a main road and directly opposite a golf course, offering an unobstructed view. Waking up to lush green lawns, blue skies, and white clouds created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. 2. Room Layout Suitable for Families or Groups We stayed in a Premium Two-Bedroom Unit, which was nicely designed with a practical layout. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. Although the bathrooms were relatively small, having two bedrooms and two bathrooms made it convenient and comfortable for a group of four. 3. Thoughtful Amenities The hot and cold water dispenser located at the lift lobby was a thoughtful touch. The room also came with a kettle, which was especially convenient for families and guests who prefer hot drinks. Cons 1. Bed Comfort Could Be Improved The bed was Queen-sized, but the mattress felt rather firm, while the pillows were overly large and thick, making the sleeping experience less comfortable. 2. Lift Access System Was Not Sensitive Enough The lift card scanning sensor was not very responsive. When staying on a lower floor, there were occasions where the access card had not yet been detected before the lift had already passed the intended floor, which affected convenience and user experience. 3. Poor Drop-Off and Parking Layout The luggage unloading area was located at the entrance of the parking area, where the road was narrow and often obstructed traffic flow. In addition, after rainfall, the parking area had significant puddles, making it inconvenient to walk, especially when carrying luggage. 4. Limited Check-In Space The check-in reception area was relatively small and struggled to handle the holiday crowd. During peak periods, the space became congested and chaotic. 5. Narrow Public Areas and Restaurant Queue Management The hotel hallways were generally narrow. While it is understandable that queues are unavoidable during peak travel seasons, the restaurant waiting area was clearly unable to accommodate the volume of guests, resulting in congestion. 6. Inefficient Dining Area Layout The food serving area could be better organized, especially around the coffee machine section. Despite having multiple machines, they were still insufficient to handle the high guest volume, leading to long queues. 7. Privacy Concerns The hotel should consider implementing stricter drone control policies within the property. While staying on the 4th floor, we woke up to find a drone flying past our open balcony/door area, which felt intrusive and raised privacy concerns. 8. Mismatch Between Price and Experience We chose this property largely because of the Ascott brand reputation and the RM1,100+ nightly rate, expecting a more premium level of accommodation and service. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations. From operational details to service quality, the hotel did not reflect the level typically associated with its pricing and branding.

It was a nice stay with cooling atmosphere/weather, although the units are a bit old and dated. The bathrooms for example seems mouldy. The breakfast was underwhelming with little options, the ham from our American breakfast smelled/tasted off which we reported to the waiter. Additionally, there were monkeys everywhere as well as birds - the monkey and bird can freely come in the breakfast area which is unhygienic and had to be chased out by the staff

Quiet, clean, comfortable, safe, and very convenient, located next to the highway, making it easy to go anywhere. Check-in is simple, and there's a supermarket across the street, making shopping easy.

My friend and I each got a king room. Overall, the service and the hotel's garden design were excellent. The price is quite a good value for a villa-style resort of this caliber. There are gardeners maintaining the flowers and plants every day, creating a beautiful 'step-by-step changing scenery' effect. The only minor downside is that some facilities are a bit old, but any issues we raised were immediately resolved. The front desk staff had a slight accent, but for anyone who understands English, communication was perfectly fine. There's a private beach area upfront where you can relax and watch the sea, which was a really nice touch. There are also cute little cats in the courtyard that will interact and play with you.

I’m Very disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of the room. Check in je terus nampak sink pipe dalam bathroom bocor sampai lantai basah. Sofa pula sangat hapak, busuk, lusuh dan berbulu . and then bed pun ada sehelai rambut, meja bulat pun masih kotor macam tak properly clean before guest masuk. Overall memang rasa maintenance dan housekeeping sangat tak memuaskan. tak berbaloi dengan harga 300+/night😔 before book ada nampak review dkt tiktok apps mmg bad review tapi still juga nak book sebab nampak bilik and view cantik, tapi menghampakan sangat. so far staff semua ok, cuma kebersihan jela out. Hopefully pihak management boleh ambik iktibar dan improve service serta kebersihan untuk future guests.

Overall, the place is attractive and the sea view is very nice. The unit itself was generally comfortable and everything was in order. However, the main downside is that it was extremely crowded. The pool was overly packed, which made it less enjoyable, especially for families with children. One serious issue we faced was with the iron provided. It appears to be faulty and needs replacement. Unfortunately, it left burn marks on my child’s clothes, which was quite disappointing. In summary, the location and view are great, but management should look into crowd control and ensure basic appliances like irons are properly maintained.

LLost & LepakYes. The location is good, the room is clean and the service was good. The mattress was shaky and the toilet was smelly. I changed my room for third time and the customer service was good. Not having any pleasant stay due to the mattress but nothing to complaint since they assisted me with third time of room arrangement. My room facing to road and can heard the speeding sound during mid night. Overall it’s fine if you just prefer short vacation. Not waiting too long for the lift and this is something good.

FFARADIBAHThe location is absolutely top-notch and highly strategic, being within walking distance to nearby attractions (Kea Farm, Sheep Sanctuary, EQ, and Raju's Strawberry Farm). I highly recommend starting your sightseeing journey from this hotel and driving downwards, as the road flow is much smoother that way (the roads get jammed during school holidays, and many people get stuck climbing uphill). The hotel has a big capacity and provides parking for guests. The room comes with a bathtub, which was fun for the kids to enjoy during the stay. The hotel lobby is very spacious and features a snooker table and massage chairs. There are many counters available, making the check-in and check-out experience smooth. The hotel vibe is a bit old-school since it is an older property, but it is still beautiful and classy.Perhaps they can improve in terms of cleanliness; the housekeeping staff needs to be more meticulous when cleaning the bathroom. It is actually clean, but it would be better if they focused more on the crevices around the bathtub, toilet bowl, and underneath the sink. I would also suggest adding room fresheners to both the bedroom and the bathroom.

GGuest UserThis is our first stay in ion delemen for 4D3N. The unit is very spacious and clean however we faced some difficulties as below. 1. Broken bedframe: One of the room bed is broken and we have reported to the reception immediately however no action was taken nor any updates was received. There are difficulties every time when we sleep on it as it is unstable. 2. Wifi connection: Throughout our stay, we unable to connect to hotel WiFi and no action was taken to rectify it. 3. Noisy door: There's a very annoying sound every time when we open or close the room door.

GGuest UserPlease see the details of my experience below: Incomplete Check-In & Luggage Handling: I reached the hotel lobby around 11:00 AM to check in and provided my NRIC and phone number to the receptionist for verification. Because the room was not ready yet, I told her it was fine, left my baggage with her, and requested her help to bring it up to the room once it was ready. I then rushed to catch the shuttle bus to the theme park. Delayed Evening Check-In & Unsecured Baggage: When I arrived back at the lobby around 10:00 PM expecting to simply collect my room keys, a different receptionist took more than 15 minutes to process my check-in all over again. During this time, he also faced a printer failure while trying to print my breakfast vouchers for the next day. Furthermore, I noticed my baggage was still left out in the open area of the lobby. Lack of Urgency at Front Desk: While waiting for my late check-in, the phone at the front counter rang continuously for more than 10 seconds. Only one staff member finally answered it, while three other staff members just stood there daydreaming. As a waiting guest, I personally felt quite irritated watching the front desk phone ring for so long without being answered. Poor Staff Attitude: When I asked what time breakfast was served, the staff member replied, ”It's standard lah... 7:30 AM till 10:30 AM,” as if I were a barbarian who had never stayed in a hotel before asking a dumb question. Their attitude felt like I don't care. Disregarded Guest Request: Because I was too exhausted to continue waiting for the breakfast voucher to print, I requested that the staff deliver it to my room later by simply slipping it under the door. However, when staff member came to deliver it, he still pressed the doorbell, unnecessarily disturbing my rest. Confusing Service Design & Layout: The hotel room lifts are quite complicated to reach from the lobby. The receptionist merely pointed and told me to ”go straight and turn right.” Carrying my own baggage, I went straight, turned right, had to make a U-turn, and kept asking around before finally finding the room lift. It felt like a treasure hunt, banging around here and there until I finally reached it. I am not sure if your service design is intentionally meant to handle customers this way. Room Cleanliness Issues: The room itself was quite dusty. I could clearly see hair and dirt on the bedsheets. There was also some black substance inside the fridge, to the point where I did not dare put any of my drinks inside. Overall, the hotel is quite nice physically considering the age of the hotel. It just really needs to improve its service culture, staff training, and cleanliness standards.
