The hotel is not far from the airport, but it is not convenient to eat around. The breakfast is simple and there are not many set meals to choose from. The room is relatively large and the bathroom is spacious. The bed is soft and hard, and the balcony is also large, but it is a bit noisy next to the road.

Nice hotel, but a bit dated in the rooms. My carpet had a big wet spot when I got to room, that was weird. No spot above in ceiling, not sure what it was from. Housekeeping neglected to come the first day but they did come the second day at 8:30am. Knocked once - literally once - and then just opened the door themselves as I was on my way to open the door. Really frustrating to just let herself in with only one knock. Waited about 10 seconds, if that. I did let the front desk know when I checked out. Balcony could use a little more updated furniture, as well. Room is big! Isaiah and Priya (sp??) at front desk were amazing when I checked in.

GGuest UserHighly recommend this hotel, the staff was amazingg. Every staff member helping us were very friendly and helpful. We travelled from Texas to elope and were wanting to check in very early, they didn’t have anything but that was expected being that we arrived at 8 am! Although they didn’t have one ready they STILL gave us free breakfast! On top of that they gave us free drinks at the bar as a newly wed gift! Again not expected. The chef also came out later when we went to the bar at night and gifted us delicious dessert, this hotel made us feel welcomed in Colorado . We def. Will be back.

Overall, it is clean and the scenery is good, but note that Ctrip does not indicate that the price does not include spa and wifi, and will be charged when leaving the store. GGuest UserThere’s not a lot (if any) of nice options in Grand Junction, but I stayed at super 8 the night before, and it was a complete mess. I was hoping for a better experience here, which I did get. But I was still unimpressed with the outdated furniture and bathroom, my ice bucket had the old bag of ice from the previous guest with water still in it. The front desk crew was super nice, so I appreciate that. I feel like at the price point, every room should have a refrigerator, luckily they were able to store my cold food downstairs in the community refrigerator. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I feel like Doubletree should do better even in a place like Grand Junction.

美美国上海人Most of the people are nice. The place is spacious and clean. The restaurant food is actually quite good. They offer free shuttle to downtown and airport, as well as Buttermilk. Here are a few downsides. 1. It is far from everything else. Quite, but not inconvenient. Shuttle goes every half an hour. 2. Give 4 bottles of drinking water at a time. Difficult to us 4 people. Why can they install a filtration system so that we can just get our own water? 3. We can hear all the squeaking sound upstairs while people walking. 4. Air control system is hard to maneuver. Overall, it is much cheaper than downtown hotels with bigger rooms.

GGuest UserWe love Brown Palace and have been there before. We had difficulty getting them to return our calls when we were trying to make reservations for dinner there. Our air conditioning would not turn off and we didn’t hear back from them when we alerted them to the problem. For the price we were paying, we expected better service. It is still a wonderful historic place to spend time.
