The hotel is conveniently located very close to the airport bus stop, just a few minutes' walk away. The room was clean and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a nice river view. The front desk service was attentive, and breakfast was quite rich. They even offered complimentary afternoon tea upon check-in. Overall, it was a great experience with good value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

We stayed at Sofitel Xining for a total of four nights, and our experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are modern and spacious, and the facilities (pool, gym, executive lounge) are world-class — but what truly made the difference was the incredible hospitality. A very special thank you to Lucy and Mia at the front desk. Their warm welcome, kindness, and proactive support made us feel genuinely cared for. They went above and beyond to help us during our stay — from arranging transportation to providing great local recommendations. Their professionalism combined with their friendliness made every interaction a pleasure. We also want to thank Jenny, the Staff Manager, for her attention to detail and personal care. She checked on us several times to make sure everything was perfect, and we felt truly valued as guests. It’s rare to experience this level of service — we felt more like friends than hotel guests. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Xining.

I stayed for two nights in a row. Besides not wanting to move my luggage, the comfortable accommodation was also a major reason. The hotel provided pick-up and drop-off services for trips to Riyue Mountain, Qinghai Lake, and Chaka Salt Lake, and it was also convenient to find restaurants in the city.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express Xining Railway Station far exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, and the facilities were, as always, clean and well-maintained. However, what truly impressed me was the exceptional service, especially the professional conduct of Supervisor Ma. Throughout my stay, Supervisor Ma displayed incredible enthusiasm for service. He not only responded quickly to guest needs but also showed great attention to detail with many thoughtful gestures. He wasn't just robotically performing his duties; he genuinely cared about the guests, a level of professionalism that's rare in chain business hotels. It made me feel truly at home. What touched me most was an instance when we had an extremely early departure for a day trip and thought we would miss breakfast. After learning about our travel plans, Supervisor Ma proactively offered to pack breakfast for us. On the day of our departure, the breakfast was ready in advance, allowing us to feel the hotel's care even on the go. This proactive, 'thinking-one-step-ahead' approach to service was a highlight of my trip to Xining. If you're looking for great value for money while also prioritizing service quality, the Holiday Inn Express Xining Railway Station is definitely your top choice. A special thank you to Supervisor Ma for the excellent care; I will certainly stay here again on my next visit to Xining.

The room was incredibly spacious, and we even got a free upgrade to a deluxe room. The high floor offered an amazing view, especially since we were there during the Lantern Festival and could see the fireworks all over the city. The hotel's location is excellent. The Airport Bus Line 2 stop is just 50 meters away, and Xinghai Road right outside is full of great food options. I was in such a rush when checking out that I left my charging cable behind. The front desk staff, especially Deji, was incredibly helpful and even mailed it back to me – I really appreciate it! 🙏 It was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip! 👍

My stay here exceeded expectations! The room was spotless and odor-free, with all the amenities you could ask for. The bedding was especially soft and comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, making the check-in process a breeze. The hotel's location is super convenient with plenty of facilities nearby. It's quiet and comfortable, and the value for money is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it to everyone! There's even a bookstore across the street and several restaurants nearby, perfect for a weekend getaway.

The room is well-equipped and warm, and the sanitary conditions are also very good, especially the breakfast in the western restaurant on the first floor, which has many varieties and choices. The children enjoyed the meal very much. The service of the lady at the front desk was particularly warm and polite during check-in and check-out.

【A Truly Great Value Stay】 I chose this hotel for a business trip/leisure travel and was pleasantly surprised. ✅ Location & Transport: It's very close to the subway station, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby, which is super convenient. ✅ Room Cleanliness: As soon as I walked in, it felt very clean. The sheets and towels were spotless white, with no strange odors. The bathroom drain worked perfectly, showing great attention to detail. ✅ Service Attitude: Everyone from the concierge to the front desk was very polite and greeted me proactively. When I contacted room service with an issue, their response was very prompt. ✅ Breakfast & Facilities: The breakfast offered a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western options, and tasted good. The gym and laundry room, though not large, were perfectly adequate. 🌟 Highlights: The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offered an amazing view of the city/mountains.

There was a girl at the front desk who was really friendly. I saw her name on her ID card was Vita. She was not the kind of distant and polite staff, but really stood from our perspective to handle all problems for us. Because our mobile phone was not a mainland card and could not connect to WIFI, she studied it for a while and helped us connect successfully. When we checked in, she told us that the climate here was dry, and the room notified us to add more water. When we went downstairs to go out and asked her for information about the surrounding areas, she personally helped us show us the way and called a taxi for us. She also told us that there is a big temperature difference between morning and night in Xining, and we need to add more clothes when going out in the morning and evening. The places recommended to us are delicious and affordable. There is really no formatted feeling of staying in a hotel, just like the feeling of a child at home helping you arrange things. The only regret is that we didn't meet her again when we checked out, otherwise we should thank her in person.

I've been staying here for almost a month now. Overall, the hotel reception staff are very friendly, and the breakfast included is a plus. However, I always feel like the hotel doesn't have enough housekeeping staff. On my first night, they didn't clean until almost 6 or 7 pm on the second night, and their efficiency was terrible. I usually extend my stay every two or three days, and sometimes the housekeeping staff doesn't even come to clean. They don't leave toiletries or change towels. What's even more outrageous is that I've stayed for almost a month, and they've only changed the sheets and blankets once! How can they do housekeeping like that? I'm not saying they should change them every three to five days, but at least once a week! If I hadn't insisted on changing them, they probably would have changed them for the entire month. Also, there was a refrigerator in my room, meant for storing drinks. I figured the drinks were included in the room rate, so I asked her to put some in it, but she refused. If she doesn't want to put drinks in it, then what's the point of having a small refrigerator? They only clean what they can see, never mop the floor, and don't even wipe the table after cleaning! No mopping, no wiping! Another time, I wanted to sleep in, so I put up a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on my door, meaning I wouldn't have to clean. But they didn't leave me any toiletries or drinks! The next day, there wasn't even a toothbrush. At least leave your things at the door! They knew I was extending my stay; were they trying to save costs for the hotel?! It's really awful! I won't even post pictures; you can try staying three days in a row and see if what I'm saying is true.
