Very recommended to stay, cost-effective, the environment is very good. Beautiful environment, good geographical location, convenient transportation, comfortable and sanitary rooms, service staff are very enthusiastic, facilities are very humane, high-speed network signal is good, the view outside the window is good. The design of the room's small pendulum is also very distinctive. Next time, check in.

my experiences from these hotels has been positive so far. this one stands out because i think the owners dont pay attention to it. the bathroom had no warm water or adequate water flow. it was spacious yes but i also wanted to bathe. the breakfast area is in the center of the establishment and only has natural light from the top which is 7 ? stories high. so if you have and early morning the area is not adequately lit. also the breakfast bouffet is lacking in choice. very few things offered. the bed excellent as always. for me 2 were the worst elements: i tried to talk to receptionist over the phone and he didnt speak english well and i found a cockroach in the restroom at the reception area. i know this is a hotel for short stay but isnt the goal of every hotel to have people converging no matter what?

The hotel that sits atop a large hill in San Miguel has wonderful views and an extremely large terrace for each room. The views are magnificent. That is about all I can say is wonderful for this place. I have stayed in some gorgeous hotels in large cities and tourist destinations. I know boutique hotels are not the normal hotel experience, since I have stayed in them as well, but what most boutique hotels do very well is service. Ilo rojo doesn't know much of anything about service. Here are some of the things that shocked us. There was no iron or ironing board in our rooms. There was no way to get any ice (more on that later). The terraces where with beautiful views were just that. They had one cheap patio table, with a umbrella stand (more on that later) and a metal bar for a fabric canopy, which was missing. So if you want to enjoy the terrace/veranda during the day, good luck. The heat will run you off quickly. Now to the service. After a wonderful time in the city, we wanted to get some beverages we bought at a market to enjoy in our rooms on the terrace/veranda at night but couldn't find any ice or cups in the room. So I called for some sort of cups and was told they would see what they could do. About 20 minutes later I was rewarded with 2 plastic cheap cups. Ok, no big deal. I needed at least 4. So I went down 4 levels (by stairs) to the bar and asked for 2 more cups and a cup of ice. I was told there was no ice at the bar so they would have to get some and bring it up. Never heard back from them again. It was later, so I decided to just forget about it. Next morning we went to breakfast at the hotel restaurant, again on outdoor terrace at the bottom of the hotel. It took over 15 minutes for someone to come over. After ordering coffee and breakfast, we watched the waitress/bartender roam around and deliver some items to each of the various tables but not complete orders. It took over 30 minutes to get coffee and we actually received our food before the coffee for the 4 of us that we ordered before food. In fact, 1 person received their order, then 10 minutes later then another person and lastly, I received my order about 15 minutes after everyone else in my group. What kind of restaurant delivers orders 1 at a time when each item is ready. Next, the pool which is smaller than most people's bathrooms (in the US), has to be reserved by the hour. It was sad. However, we had a kid in our group and we thought it would be great to have him swim a little. We also thought since we had some beverages from the night before, we could hang out by the miniature pool for a bit and indulge in a few drinks. Again, we asked for some ice from the concierge. The concierge went to the bartender and bartender told the concierge something and they both walked past me to the other members of our party to tell them beverages were not allowed at the pool. Could have told me that while I was standing there asking the for the ice. This was little irritating

Facilities: No facilities available Hygienic: good health, very clean, high-rise floor-to-ceiling windows Environment: The high-rise view is very good, the main opposite is the Leon Convention and Exhibition Center, crossing the road, it is more convenient to participate in the exhibition, about 900 meters from the Bus bus station. Also convenient Service: This hotel has problems with Ctrip's settlement, check-in and check-out have encountered problems, and Ctrip is actively handling them.

I've stayed at this holiday Inn many times in the past but this time was different, the experience was disgusting. I woke up one morning with the aroma of sewer in my room which was unbearable, I couldn't even stay in the room. The supervisor told me that my room would be 'cleaned' which they should've moved me to a different room. I tipped the the guy that 'cleaned' my room and tried to relax but then found a roach in my room. I alerted the supervisor once again about the issue and he did move me to a different room this time. I was disgusted and asked them if they washed clothing which they have a laundry mat free of charge. I spent my day waiting for my room to be 'cleaned', moved and then had to wash all my clothing to make sure I didn't carry the infestation with me. The best the Supervisor could do was give me a measly $200 peso discount for my 5 day stay at this hotel. I will be filing a claim with the city because I am sure that they have a roach infestation and they're covering it up which is a huge health hazard. Never again will I stay at this hotel with poorly trained staff.

For a brand-name hotel to be around ~$40 per night, it’s incredible. But that doesn’t mean I’ll ignore some issues that can be resolved. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. None were completely proficient in English, but they knew enough phrases to communicate just fine. I was impressed with their kindness and dedication to customer service! Thank you! The atmosphere is typical of most Holiday or Hampton Inns around the globe—breakfast area with seating, grab-and-go pantry, pool and fitness center, etc etc. Nothing too unique to Guanajuato, but that’s perfectly okay. The rooms—here’s where things start going south (things get worse). The first room I was assigned was not clean. There was a noticeable brown stain on the bed and orange/red residue on the bathroom counter. These spots were easy to spot and one of the first things I noticed about the room, rather than being able to admire the coziness or the TV or the airport view. I don’t like having to deal with cleanliness problems when I first enter a hotel room. Here’s what made things worse: for the life of me, I couldn’t get the hotel room phone to work. So I couldn’t call the front desk to request a change of rooms. I had to walk back and forth between the room and the lobby to get keys for another room and transfer all my belongings into the new room—I’m disabled and traveling without my normal wheelchair, so the movement is tiring. I didn’t expressly ask for assistance, so I’m not blaming anyone about the physical exhaustion but myself. However, I do consider a working phone and a clean room to be the responsibility of any hotel anywhere in the world. Moreover, the front desk employee met me in the dirty room as I was gathering my stuff to take photos of the unclean areas. I appreciated this gesture. It is crucial that housekeeping can rectify these mistakes. The only thing…at this point and throughout the rest of my stay, I don’t recall ever being told sorry for this inconvenience. An apology is a standard customer service expectation when something goes wrong. Thankfully, the new room I received was clean. Soundproofing wasn’t the greatest, unlike what I hoped, and I could hear the noisy truck traffic from behind the building during the day. On the positive side, the bed was comfy and all the outlets sustained a charge for my electronics. But the hotel phone? This one didn’t work either. Let me end the review here. Even though there were negatives to my experience, I would still stay here again for the location and budget-friendly cost. Plus, I would hope that the improvements needed will be acted upon in time for my next stay. A free shuttle to the airport is one of the boons to such a wonderful location, which I nearly forgot to mention.

Whenever I come to León, I stay at this hotel! I like the location! The room service foods are vast, taste good, the service is fast, as for the stay, the room is very comfortable and clean! Highly recommended, also because of its location, there is Plaza Mayor, and in front of it they opened a square which has nice restaurants! In truth, it is a highly recommended hotel.

BEWARE!!! AFTER I CHECKED IN AN EMPLOYEE WENT INTO MY ROOM AND STOLE JEWELRY FROM MY BELONGINGS. THEY SEARCHED ALL MY THINGS AND NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT SITUATION. YES THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE ROOM ASWELL. DO NOT STAY HERE. ALSO THE PLACE IS DISCUSSINGLY DIRTY . THE LOCATION LOOKS GOOD ON THE WED, BUT IT IS NOT A GOOD AREA. IT WAS SCARY DRIVING IN THIS AREA. DONT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE. I HAD MY KIDS WITH ME . I WAS SO AFRAID FOR THEIR SAFETY. AFTER THIS HAPPENED TO US I DIDNT CHECK OUT BECAUSE THE AREA IS SO SCARY TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. AND DAY TIME ASWELL. I DID NOT SLEEP ONE BIT. I CHECKED OUT EARLY IN MORNING. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD AT A HOTEL. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE. I didn't take many fotos ill post the one in bathroom. Hadn't been cleaned. There was a dirty sponge on floor. Well the outside and inside looks dirty like the picture I posted. I didn't take more because I was in a zone of just getting out as soon as the sun came out. Don't believe the pictures you see online . It's a whole new experience once you get there.

Breakfast is good, but just like that, it will be greasy after eating for a long time, mainly because Chinese people are not used to it, they are all cold food, only hot water in the coffee machine. The room is very hygienic.

Un hotel bien ubicado, muy cerca del Centro y de la zona para comprar zapato en León, el desayuno es muy bueno y con variedad para que lo disfrutes, sin prisa y con la excelente atención de su personal. Se puede hospedar con familia o de negocios, cuenta con estacionamiento, centro de lavado, el acceso a las habitaciones es controlado. Vale la pena. Buen precio.

A very good choice in León. 20 minutes away from the airport. Rooms are actually suites with a small fridge, mini bar, microwave oven and coffee maker. Nice distribution and a really comfy bed. Food is also very good, but room service needs improvement (no salt, bread or dressings if not explicitly requested). There's a small pool and gym, TV is HD with all the sports channels available in Mexico. A no brainer.

The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. We arrived as 10 pm at night, in a very friendly reception staff, when reaching the room, very clean and beautiful, The super-gust beds and bed clothes too, really resting a lot. The hotel is very helpful and helpful to stay there, gives you 5 days to leave your car, they have the service to take you and pick you up to the airport. I booked two double rooms last May 28th and I had no problem with the online agency that made the reservation. However, when the reception manager and the other person who supports it arrived at the hotel, it took 40 minutes to give me the rooms bringing system failures, this unfortunate experience leaves very bad the signs the hotel assumes The rooms are very clean and very nice and very large breakfast limited machine coffee and good care of the safety and health protocol very well

I was expecting this to be a Hampton Inn hotel, but clearly only in name. Everything else was a disappointment. Let me mention that this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, total industrial type area - you cannot walk anywhere. That is why they offer a shuttle to take you anywhere. Also you can hear a train at all hours of day and night blowing its horn. The bed was Not a Hampton Inn comfy plush memory foam bed - that you’re familiar with and come to expect with the Hampton Inn name - this was a very firm older type mattress that was not comfortable. The king standard room was extremely small. The one thing I will say is they have an extremely powerful shower which was great - that was the only thing that I could say was good about this hotel. Additionally the front desk staff not very welcoming or friendly. The only nice person working here was the shuttle driver named Simone. I stayed there just one night but from the afternoon I checked in until the next day - my key would not let me in the room 6 times!!! because the front desk girl can’t seem to program a key correctly and six times I was locked out of my room and only did I find out when I got to my room and the key did not work and I had to go back downstairs six times this is unacceptable! Complete incompetence it’s a simple job to program a key. As far as the breakfast goes this is definitely not a Hampton Inn breakfast by any means it’s catered to the Mexican clientele - not international. They love their chilaquiles even at breakfast (sorry but I don’t need tortilla chips and spicy sauce first thing in the morning!). The food truly tasted disgusting and the orange juice is not even real. They have no paper coffee cups. And what was even more disturbing was it was roped off and you could not even serve yourself or see what was in the dishes. Some woman Who spoke not a word of English, had to pick everything for you which is outrageous and ridiculous! Every other hotel lets you pick your own food but clearly not here! For that reason alone I would not go hereI I would never recommend staying in this “Hampton” hotel to anybody. There’s a much better hotel down the street called City Suites (the pink one), Huge rooms and friendly staff, I know because I moved there.

Decent place and close to Leon airport - that's the best I can offer from my experience. Quick story, stayed there before heading to San Miguel for a weekend. My wife left her Kindle in the room, figured that out in San Miguel. Told the hotel we'd be there again that Sunday night to stay before an early Monday flight back to California. Get there Sunday night, my wife's Kindle was locked in Manager's office and no one there could let us in. Got the manager on the line and she said she'd be there early Monday morning to give us the Kindle before our flight. Monday morning comes and she decides she didn't want to come in early and says they'll mail it to us - at our cost. We go home, they still have the Kindle almost two month later...

I wanted to like this place more than I did. It has old-world charm, with the dark wood, the talavera tile and the boveda ceilings. It’s very reasonably priced, too, but you get what you pay for in a lot of ways here. Not a lot of room amenities— no mini fridge or microwave which, to be fair, is relatively rare in Mexico. But the stocked soaps and things were so cheap— like Dollar-Store cheap— they hardly lathered up. I couldn’t quite get a handle on the hours of the little convenience shop either which seemed never to be open, so no buying our own. I might have been able to overlook that stuff if the ladies at the front desk weren’t so rude. At one point during our stay, I thought I lost my key. When I went to ask for another, the two clerks literally rolled their eyes at one another before proceeding to take an inordinate amount of time contacting whomever they needed to contact to come program another key. They hardly addressed me and let me know pretty late in the process that I would have to pay for the replacement… in cash. I couldn’t just add the charge to the card on file for the room. So analog. Likewise, later when it was time to leave, one of those same clerks simply glared at me when I approached to let her know we were checking out. It wasn’t until my husband showed up behind me that she actually addressed me, saying everything was all set. She even smiled. I couldn’t help laughing at the absurdity of the abrupt change in her demeanor. I’m not sure if I did something to offend her or if she’s just a hateful person, but she’s definitely one reason we will be staying elsewhere the next time we’re in town.

Spent 1 night here on a brief tour of San Miguel de Allende. The hotel was nice, rooms seemed newly done so everything was very nice. Had an ok dinner at the restaurant and a shot of Cristilano Tequila which was amazing. The lobby had a small game room with a pool table, fooz ball table, and the open restaurant lobby area had tons of places to sit and hang out. Huge pool as well. We walked to the nearby Mercaod Sano on Saturday morning and have a lovely breakfast and enjoyed some live music and market - cash only.

Todo el hotel es recomendable, limpieza, el personal super amables, en especial Dulce, Lalo de recepción y en comedor Roberto siempre al pendiente de cualquier situación. El desayuno muy rico y basto! La ubicación super buena, y lo recomiendo totalmente! Gracias por el excelente fin de semana!

This resort is the only place I would stay in San Miguel. The property was beautiful with both hotel rooms & residences. We stayed in a 4 bedroom residence with our own rooftop hot tub & fire pit. It was 4 stories but had an elevator that went to every floor. The views from the rooftop were beautiful. The resort had a great rooftop restaurant, a gorgeous pool area, a beautiful courtyard that served breakfast, a wonderful bar where you could enjoy cocktails in or out, and just an all around beautiful place. The location wasn't right in the center if town, but it was a short walk. I look forward to going back.
