We are a family of 5 adults visiting Melaka for my mom's 96th birthday celebration with her family and friends living n Melaka. We had the family suite - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. *Reception lobby has an overwhelming smell that is disgusting.
*Bathrooms: the tiles in the bathroom are moldy and falling apart with makeshift patchu. Bath towels had a funny smell and had seen better days. We had no choice but to replace the while towels with the blue-striped pool towels.
* Kitchen - a skeleton setup with sink, microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Basic amenities like one would expect in a kitchen such as stovetop, dish washing liquid, kitchen
hand towels, crockery and utensils are missing. The microwave is filthy. We have to use the white hand towels that guests would normally use in the bathroom to dry our hands in the kitchen. We had to request room service to clean the filthy microwave, provide plates and utensils for us to eat out take-out food, along with dish washing liquid to wash our dirty dishes. Pictures speak a thousand words.
Hotel is connected to a Mall - Shore that is deserted. Foot traffic is at its all time low. Mall is dimly lit ... a HUGE contrast to AEON.
I would not recommend this hotel. Sorry.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to the iconic Red Square. Our room faced the sea, offering clear views of the beautiful Straits Mosque, which looked especially stunning at night with its constantly changing colored lights. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby; across the road, there's an authentic and delicious Nyonya restaurant. I particularly enjoyed the hotel's swimming pool and sauna; it was so relaxing to go from a swim to a sauna session. Malacca is a wonderful place for a vacation, especially the weekend night market, which is great for eating and drinking. There's so much delicious food! The hotel breakfast was also very rich. The only drawbacks were that the hotel facilities are a bit old, there was no power outlet next to the bedside table for charging, and the bathroom door design had some issues. The service was alright.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. The check-in process was smooth, and the facilities were excellent. I especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Looking forward to staying here again!

Facilities: Newly built and excellent, very clean!
Cleanliness: Spotless, I brought a lot of my own stuff but didn't even need it!
Environment: It's a mixed-use hotel and apartment building with a mall right downstairs, including KFC and Subway. Just a heads-up, many of the food options are spicy. There are also play areas for kids. It's about 1000 meters from Jonker Street, but be cautious if you take the smaller alleys at night, it can be a bit spooky. Also, the swimming pool on the 9th floor was super cold in the morning!
Service: The service was great, everyone was very friendly and greeted us warmly!
Breakfast was especially rich and delicious, with a lot of Malaysian-style options!

APPLE shares a building with a larger hotel, tucked away in a corner of the building's parking garage. The front desk is just a small table, where two polite Malaysian ladies check guests in. Although they don't speak Chinese, communication is possible through smartphone apps. Check-in is strictly after 3 PM. Luggage storage is free, but items are simply placed behind the front desk in a small concrete partition, without any receipts given, only an assurance of CCTV surveillance. Despite some inner apprehension, our luggage was safe and sound when we returned in the evening. The room is split-level: a double bed downstairs, and upstairs, another double bed and a single bed, making it perfect for families of 4-5 or groups of friends traveling together. Malacca isn't very large, and the hotel is about a twenty-minute walk from the Dutch Square, which is quite convenient. The apartment complex has a mini-supermarket, a swimming pool, and a ping-pong table, so the facilities are quite comprehensive. Crucially, the price is incredibly attractive, at only 200+ RMB per night, making it the best value for money hotel of our entire trip. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed our stay at Baba House. The hotel has a unique charm and is well maintained, making the stay comfortable and relaxing. Its location is very convenient, as it is close to Jonker Walk, which made it easy for us to explore nearby attractions, food spots, and shops without much travel. The rooms were clean and pleasant, adding to a positive overall experience. Most importantly, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would consider returning in the future.
This the second time im staying here. First time was a week ago and the staff was fantastic but unfortunately this time there was this guy(i dont know him/her) was very rude. Totally pissed me off, if you cant be nice and polite in your service industry then better just stay at home!!! Very arrogant.
Excellent luxury apartment stay in a newly developed and quiet area of Malacca, with easy parking and road access. Perfect for car and motorcycle tours around the country because each apartment can house up to 6 pax easily, with generous quality appliances and enormous bedding (I had a 2BR suite). The check in and out process was smooth, just be aware they are real private homes so treat the place with respect and do your own housekeeping to make it easy for the next renter!

FFaizzul ImanI stayed at PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka, Room 0059, from 8/2/2026 to 9/2/2026.
The room itself was good, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool is huge and very family-friendly. The food selection was generally good with a decent variety.
However, the major letdown was the electricity issue, which seriously affected our stay.
Our room and block experienced a blackout for a few minutes at night. Worse, while we were sleeping, the electricity kept tripping 3–4 times. Each time this happened, the air-conditioning turned off. My children were sleeping and woke up sweating due to the heat. This was very uncomfortable and unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
Other issues:
• The prayer mat provided in the room had a bad smell and clearly needed to be washed or replaced.
• During breakfast, the putu mayam was served with grated coconut that had turned sour.
• During checkout, the lobby was extremely crowded with a large group of people standing around. It felt very congested and uncomfortable, especially with families and children trying to move around.
Overall, the hotel has good facilities and strong potential, but the repeated electricity disruptions and poor crowd management during checkout need urgent improvement to ensure guest comfort.

EEiba DanishWhen we arrived, we were surprised that this hotel is under the same group company, Hatten Group. So it has the same parking lot shared with Hatten Hotel. Different building though. The check-in was fast but only at 3pm. The room was extremely comfortable, bed was comfy, and the shower water is really strong. The room itself overall is very clean too and well-maintained. Price is very affordable even at high-season which makes it a very attractice stay. The breakfast is just average and a bit-tad too pricey at RM 35 p/pax since Melaka itself has an abundance of other eateries options. Will definitely return.
MMohdSituated near Ayer Keroh toll, this hotel offers ambiance and comfortable stay at affordable price.
The room has been equipped with iron board, bathtub security box and refrigerator.
Outdoor facilties including mini arcade (driving, car ride, shooting, basketball) and sports (pool, foosball, ice hockey), pools (slides, kids area) and others (indoor playground, ATV, archery)
Vvenus YongThis hotel just opened this year, and the lobby is very grand and beautiful. The room is also comfortable and spacious 👍. The hotel is right by the sea. We stayed on a high floor with a balcony, and the morning view was stunning. The staff were also very helpful, enthusiastic, and always smiling. I would definitely come back here again on my next trip 💛.
GGuest UserView from the 25th floor is beautiful. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for the lifts though. This block seems to serve mainly visitors, and we waited more than 30 minutes for a lift to bring us down as its fully packed during check out time between 11am to 12pm. Ended up walking down the stairs from 25th floor, and we were faster than the lift while lugging along 2 luggages.
AAnonymous UserIt's a bit far from the main tourist areas, so you'll need a taxi to get there as it's quite sunny to walk. However, the hotel facilities are excellent and very comfortable, and the service is good too. There are also some eateries nearby, although they don't look particularly clean.
GGuest UserA pleasant experience to stay at this hotel. We was greeted and attended warmly. The room was very celan , spacious and decorated nicely. The receptionist name Mira was very nice, other staff there also very friendly and helpful. The only thing that need to improve a bit is the breakfast. I stayed for 3 nights and i think its little bit boring eating the same food repeatedly. I suggest if the hotel could add more variety on the menu. Overall it was a good stay.
