It was dark. I originally thought it would be difficult to find this hotel, but I checked into some more on the side of the road. It is an ordinary old-style hotel. The room seems to have a small hall design. The hot spring is in front. The open-air bath is very dark and a bit scary. There are no lights. , it would be much better if there were lanterns, I checked in without ordering breakfast, and drove out of the parking lot in the morning. It turned out that there was a beautiful pier next to it, so I took a photo!
The hotel has been open for over a hundred years, and although the facilities are a bit old, they are still kept spotless. The elderly lady was very welcoming; seeing that we were checking in on a hot day, she quickly brought us bottled ice water. The hotel also has onsen (hot spring baths), with separate baths for men and women. One highlight is that you can choose an elegant cup to enjoy your tea or coffee for free. Another highlight is that you can take photos with the antique objects. A third highlight is that they offer a light breakfast of bread, juice, and salad in the morning. After enjoying the evening activities, it's less than 200 meters from the entrance of the Takeo Onsen building, making it a great accommodation option.
The hot spring water was wonderfully silky smooth, and the bathhouse wasn't too crowded, making for a very comfortable and relaxing experience. The outdoor onsen was particularly fantastic. The dinner, part of the half-board plan, wasn't very extensive, and it was a bit disappointing not to be served Saga beef, especially being in Saga Prefecture. However, the breakfast quality was excellent.
The front desk staff weren't very proactive; they didn't greet guests coming or going. The room was average, but the bathroom threshold was exceptionally high, and I almost tripped every time I entered or exited. Let me especially talk about the large public bath—the facilities are terrible! The dry changing area is tiny, so small that three people changing at once felt cramped. They also don't provide common amenities for women like hair ties or elastic bands. The open-air hot spring area has no thermometer, is very small, and there was a noticeable oil film and debris floating on the water. I feel the hygiene definitely needs improvement.
Highly recommended, you must stay here once. There is a shuttle service to and from the JR station. The waitresses are very professional, worthy of the grade of a hot spring resort hotel.
The hotel's public space is amazing. It should have been specially designed by a designer. It is very novel and smart. Every corner is like a work of art. The seats, decorations, sofas, and shops are all modern, but also have Japanese characteristics. You must go to the bar for a drink at night. It is a great value. This hotel is relatively large and divided into several areas. There should be more private and high-end guest rooms.
However, the interior of the room and the large bath are average. So you must experience the public space well.
Wuxiong City is located in Sagacho, Kyushu. The real tour is not too much, but it is enough for a day trip. This hotel is only a 7-minute drive from the city. It is located on the top of the mountain and can be seen as an old hotel renovation, but the design is quite novel and streamlined. The rooms are wide and the hot springs and sauna are good. Book this hotel must book breakfast, the Japanese breakfast is very rich, and it is also very aftertasteful. The hotel will arrive at OND Park in a few minutes from the slope. There is a large camping venue, hidden by an OND sauna that has won the design award. Although guests of OND hotels cannot use this sauna for free, they can also buy a day coupon. It is not bad to try it in.
It's very close to the center of Ureshino Onsen, just a two-minute walk to the foot baths. Dinner is buffet style, with Japanese-style meals, but diners are required to help themselves. The hot springs aren't large, but the water is excellent, leaving your skin feeling smooth. The yudofu, a specialty of Ureshino Onsen, is a must-try.
It is said that it was a hotel where the emperor had stayed before, so I chose Shunkeiya. In fact, there are not many hotels to choose from in Takeo Onsen Street. The hotel rooms are quite modern and the bathroom toilets flush automatically.
The dinner is quite sumptuous, and the breakfast is a decent Japanese breakfast. The hot springs are pretty average, one indoor and one outdoor.
Half of the shops on Takeo Onsen Street are open and half are closed, which is a bit depressed. The hotel is about one kilometer away from Takeo Onsen Station. Call the hotel and they will pick you up from the station.
A large ginkgo tree is planted outside the room to enhance the view outside the window. It may be a bit old, but very neat. Staff service attitude is very good, also thank the desk sister special car pick up and drop off luggage. One-stop-two-dining food is of high standard, Japanese style, but the portion is quite large. There are also small gifts at checkout, showing thoughtfulness, worth a stay.
A quiet and beautiful hot spring town. The hotel is in a great location, two minutes away from the bus center. The room is very comfortable, the hot spring is also good, and you can take a shuttle bus to Shiiba Sanso for a hot spring bath. The breakfast and dinner are the best for me among all the hot spring hotels I have stayed in so far. The staff are polite and courteous, and I highly recommend staying here.

Very Good
UUkikiA hipster-style hotel, very clean and new. The room is very Japanese style and very comfortable. The hotel has a private hot spring, which can be booked upon check-in. In addition, the hotel also has tea-related experiences, which is very interesting. Overall experience full score 💯
For dinner, you can choose the famous soup tofu restaurant next to the hotel.

YYifan63There is a direct bus from Takeo to the hotel entrance, or you can take a bus to Ureshino Station to reach the hotel. The hotel is 10 stories high and is the tallest building in the area. It is very eye-catching. There is a tea and rest area on the ground floor. All toiletries must be taken to the room on the ground floor. The hot spring is on the 10th floor. It is divided into indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor scenery is very good. You can enjoy the city scenery while taking a hot spring bath.
2205808****The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to Saga JR Station, which you can arrange by contacting them directly. The rooms are significantly larger than typical hotel rooms and offer beautiful views. The hot spring baths, both indoor and outdoor, are comfortably warm, allowing for long, relaxing soaks in a clean and pleasant environment. The only downside was that the dinner provided wasn't quite to my Chinese palate.
KKit0727Hotel location is good, the room can see the sea, very good, the hotel has hot springs, is a more flavorful hot spring, the room is very comfortable, bubble tea, drink and drink, really the most suitable, but the dinner is very rich, there are beef, fish, crabs, we also bought two crabs, very delicious, I will definitely book this hotel again next time!
GGuest UserAfter booking the hotel, I was hesitant and worried that it would be bad. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel! Everything is better than expected ^_^Small but beautiful! The front desk staff are friendly and attentive. There was a young man from China at the front desk who gave a detailed introduction to the hotel facilities, dinner reservation times and some sightseeing suggestions in Chinese. On Chinese New Year's Eve, I met a Japanese lady at the hotel front desk (who spoke very fluent English) who gave guests free drinks to celebrate the New Year, which made people feel cordial and warm. There are few people in the hotel's hot springs and they are very clean. Basically every time I go, the restaurant is reserved;) Dinner is a major feature of the hotel and worth experiencing. Although the ingredients don't look amazing, they are actually carefully prepared and high-quality ingredients. The cooking method is not very flashy, which is probably the characteristic of Ureshino. I ate every meal until I couldn't finish it. The Saga beef melts in your mouth, the tiny pufferfish is extremely delicious, the crabs are sweet and plump...^_^The soup tofu for breakfast is soft, glutinous and smooth in the mouth, without any beany smell, and the rich bean aroma is unforgettable.
The appearance picture of the hotel on Ctrip’s official website is different from the actual one! This is actually the first photo I took of this! Much better than what is shown on the official website! Best hotel for traveling with parents!
BBbbbbbbiThere weren't many reviews, so I only read reviews from foreigners and went~
If you don't speak English or Japanese at all, it might be a little hard to enjoy it properly ㅋㅋㅋ There's no Korean guide! But the staff are so kind
It's a luxurious, pretty, clean hotel that has everything you need even if you come naked~~
You can wear the provided yukata or pajamas and slippers and walk around the hotel and the ocean in front, and you can rent a bike for 600 yen and go to the pine forest to eat a Karatsu burger and if you try a little harder, you can even go to the mart in the village
There are definitely guests eating at the restaurant, but the hot spring is quiet so you can rent it and enjoy it! The price for one night was shocking, but the breakfast was so delicious and I thought dinner was a buffet, but I was a little disappointed because I ate a course meal at a Japanese restaurant🥲🥲 When I checked out the next day, I saw that a lot of Japanese people were eating the lunch buffet???? The lunch buffet must be delicious.
And after checking out, they even took me to the station for free even though I didn't make a reservation~ good good🥰

YYizhipangjiIt's a decent hot spring hotel. The two of us only brought a backpack for this trip. It's a bit funny to huddle in the corner with our only luggage and think about it. Hahahaha. There are many accommodations on Takeo Onsen street, but this one should be considered quite cost-effective. It costs 1,580 RMB on Saturday. After all, prices have increased across the board after the epidemic.
It felt like it wasn't the type to accept foreign tourists, so I finally climbed up Jalan to read the reviews. As for dining, the quality of dinner was not as good as the Takasago Onjuku in Ureshino where I stayed before. It was not delivered to the room but was eaten in the restaurant, but it was quite rich. Of course there would be Ureshino tofu for breakfast, but I really didn’t have any tsukemono. feel…
The air conditioner in the room was a bit too powerful, so it was relatively dry. The hot spring is not a big place. I feel that the area on the second floor is much larger than the first floor. According to the hotel's own introduction, it has a history of two hundred years. In the words of the four old Nagasaki aunties who I met while bathing and eating, it’s a すべすべ~ Unfortunately, there is no ice milk vending machine, and an additional 300 yen hot spring tax will be paid when checking out.
