I recently stayed at this hotel in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were extremely courteous and welcoming. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities one would expect from a high-end hotel. I appreciated the attention to detail in the room’s design, which helped make my stay feel luxurious and relaxing. The hotel also featured a range of facilities that really added to my overall enjoyment of the stay. The restaurant, in particular, was impressive, featuring a diverse menu that included both local and international dishes. The quality of the food was exceptional, and I found myself eating most of my meals at the hotel. In terms of location, the hotel was conveniently situated in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the area on foot. I also appreciated the on-site parking, which meant I didn't have to worry about finding a safe place to park my car. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The combination of exceptional service, beautiful rooms, and convenient location made it a memorable experience that I won't soon forget.

I like ET their very nice flight attendants, usually more expensive than the other African airlines but worth it.

Breeze Guest House

My worst experience after 10 years of using Hostelworld! I'm really disappointed by the mediocrity of this GuestHouse's staff who, under the pressure of a certainly authoritarian manager, totally lose their self-control... My mother, my wife and I were woken up at 7 am to ask us to pay for our two previous nights because the staff were afraid we would leave without paying... The ultimate stupidity is that our car was parked on the property with a locked door and guarded by a Guest House guard so how could we leave without paying I wonder? Add to this problems with the hot water and shower door, damaged plastic toilet covers and an atmosphere in the hostel closer to a cemetery than a lively place, and you have the perfect picture of a Victorian house worthy of a horror film... RUN AWAY IF YOU CAN! By the way, it's impossible to pay with a VISA card and it's hard to find a bank in bulawayo where you can withdraw money with a visa, so good luck!

We had a lovely stay with my wife, in our cozy room, with dequate privacy. We managed to get the rest we had comeout for. There is a beautiful garden with some beautiful rocky areas, a beautiful sitting area where you can sit and relax, and braai facilities. The staff is very friendly and help full. Home away from home.

As soon as I found this place on the internet I knew I had to add a night here to our trip! We love characterful places and this did not disappoint! The plumbing is very old, it is not luxurious, but it is eccentric and you can 'feel' the history here (no matter your views on that history - different times!). There are ancient members' books on display in reception and we enjoyed reading about suggestions for occasionally allowing ladies into the club back in the 1920s! Our suite was large and we loved walking around the building - ask for the keys to the billiards room! The bar was like stepping back in time, the staff were extremely friendly and our dinner in the courtyard was a delight. Secure parking, though we did get blocked in by a roofing contractor who took a while to descend to move his car! Unfortunately the credit card machine was playing up at check-out time, but luckily we had enough USD cash! Great location right in the centre of the city, and would also recommend the nearby Railway Museum for anyone with an interest in climbing all over old steam locomotives (no H&S here, lol).
