"I chose their 270-degree sea view room online because it was significantly cheaper than similar rooms. So, I gave up my original plan for a twin-bed room. When I got to the room and opened the curtains, I was pleasantly surprised! It looked exactly like the pictures on the platform – what you see is what you get. It would have been even more perfect if there wasn't a rooftop in front, haha! 😂 The room was very clean, and there was plenty of space for luggage. There's a mini-fridge, and they even provided complimentary iced Coke! They offer port pickup and drop-off, and the owner was already waiting for us when we disembarked. The guesthouse's location is also very convenient; it's perfect for strolling from one end of Mazu Temple towards Ewei. The guesthouse has small electric scooters available for rent, but we tried one, and my driving skills weren't great, and I accidentally broke a small flower pot belonging to the guesthouse. I offered to pay, but the landlady insisted on not taking any money... She helped us find a reasonably priced mini-scooter rental and even warned us about the risk of scrapes since the rental scooter wasn't insured. The service was exceptional! At night, we felt an earthquake due to the tremor in Taiwan. I went downstairs, and the owner told me their guesthouse foundation could withstand a magnitude 4-5 earthquake, which immediately put my mind at ease, haha. It was a really great stay, definitely worth the two days I spent carefully choosing it!"

"Overall, the hotel was a decent stay with a few drawbacks. It’s about a 12-minute walk from the train station, which is convenient, although the building looks a bit shady from the outside. Inside, however, it’s very clean, the rooms are brand new as well. We arrived at 1am and found it closed, so we had to call to check in, which was a bit inconvenient. The biggest downside was the noise, there were firecrackers and fireworks going off until 5am (likely due to New Year’s Eve), making it hard to sleep. Also, the room only had one towel for two people. Overall, clean and modern, but with some inconveniences."

"The entire B&B is beautiful, and certainly very tasteful for the area. The room itself is impeccable, simple and elegant, just like the photos. However, it feels like a village retreat, with curtains that can't be opened, and the surroundings aren't particularly pleasant.
The hostess was lovely and welcoming when we first arrived, but I felt the language barrier wasn't smooth; she spoke Minnan Mandarin...
The kitchen is small, and when there are a lot of people, there's a bit of competition for seats. There's a long, long table, and strangers have to share seats. Breakfast is simple, home-cooked dishes. We woke up late, at 9:20, and there weren't many side dishes. There were steamed buns and other items (steamed buns, steamed buns, bread, horse ears, corn, eggs, and fried dough sticks).
The hot water in the bathroom was excellent, with a good temperature and volume, but the air conditioning wasn't very cold. It was 16°C all night, but it wasn't hot either.
The taxi driver, Mr. Zheng, recommended by the host, was excellent and took the trouble to arrange activities on the island."

"My wife and I chose this place for our honeymoon because we loved their infinity pool. We initially booked a sea-view room, but later paid extra for their terrace pool room. The terrace directly faces the sea, offering panoramic views of the shimmering water and distant islands. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the terrace was an amazing experience. Location: Located on Lianchi'ao Beach, the guesthouse is built right on the beach, offering stunning sea views right from the room door. Room amenities: 2. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. The private pool on the terrace was a unique feature; after swimming, we relaxed on the lounge chairs next to the pool, enjoying the sea breeze – so relaxing we didn't want to leave. The room's decor was simple yet stylish, with wooden floors and large windows providing excellent natural light. It even had a projector, so we could watch movies with the sea view from bed at night.
The package includes complimentary pier pick-up and drop-off, exquisite breakfast and afternoon tea with a variety of delicious snacks, fruits, and drinks. Enjoying these on the terrace with the sea view creates a truly special experience. The infinity pool on the first floor is also very photogenic. Overall, the place is very clean, the service is attentive, and the facilities are new, especially the comfortable lounge chairs."

The location is close to the Tianhou Palace (shocked at night), there is a food street nearby, all within 10 minutes walk, very convenient. The boss and his wife are friendly and welcoming, with appropriate benefits, providing very practical routes and transportation information. The boss not only picked up the station at the pier, but we played on the island after checking out. Choosing this B&B for this trip was really a great experience! You can feel the warmth and comfort of home as soon as you enter the door. 🛋️
The room is decorated very delicately, and every detail reveals the owner's care. The bedding is super soft and makes you not want to get up once you lie down. You can see the sky full of stars through the window at night, how romantic!
The location of the B&B is also very good. There are buses to various attractions/piers, which are very convenient. They also provide pick-up and drop-off services. You can also discuss renting a car with the B&B owner. There are almost no people in the off-season. I upgraded to a room with a super large balcony for a little extra money.
What touched me most was the hospitality of the B&B owner. He not only provided a lot of travel advice, but also prepared breakfast for us. It was really thoughtful! 🍳🥗
