"Overall, the hotel was a decent stay with a few drawbacks. It’s about a 12-minute walk from the train station, which is convenient, although the building looks a bit shady from the outside. Inside, however, it’s very clean, the rooms are brand new as well. We arrived at 1am and found it closed, so we had to call to check in, which was a bit inconvenient. The biggest downside was the noise, there were firecrackers and fireworks going off until 5am (likely due to New Year’s Eve), making it hard to sleep. Also, the room only had one towel for two people. Overall, clean and modern, but with some inconveniences."

"I chose their 270-degree sea view room online because it was significantly cheaper than similar rooms. So, I gave up my original plan for a twin-bed room. When I got to the room and opened the curtains, I was pleasantly surprised! It looked exactly like the pictures on the platform – what you see is what you get. It would have been even more perfect if there wasn't a rooftop in front, haha! 😂 The room was very clean, and there was plenty of space for luggage. There's a mini-fridge, and they even provided complimentary iced Coke! They offer port pickup and drop-off, and the owner was already waiting for us when we disembarked. The guesthouse's location is also very convenient; it's perfect for strolling from one end of Mazu Temple towards Ewei. The guesthouse has small electric scooters available for rent, but we tried one, and my driving skills weren't great, and I accidentally broke a small flower pot belonging to the guesthouse. I offered to pay, but the landlady insisted on not taking any money... She helped us find a reasonably priced mini-scooter rental and even warned us about the risk of scrapes since the rental scooter wasn't insured. The service was exceptional! At night, we felt an earthquake due to the tremor in Taiwan. I went downstairs, and the owner told me their guesthouse foundation could withstand a magnitude 4-5 earthquake, which immediately put my mind at ease, haha. It was a really great stay, definitely worth the two days I spent carefully choosing it!"

The room was clean, well-maintained, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh, and housekeeping took care of everything daily without reminders.
The staff were polite and helpful, check-in was smooth, and they responded quickly to any questions. The internet connection was stable, which was important for work.
Overall, the price-to-quality ratio is one of the best in the area. It’s a perfect option for both short and business trips.

"This hotel was recently renovated this year. The room was spacious and clean with no unpleasant odors. All the amenities inside were brand new and excellent. There's parking available right outside. While the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, there are plenty of small eateries right downstairs on the street, one after another. The front desk staff were all enthusiastic and always ready to help. It's a hotel with great value for money, highly recommended!"

The view of the city was magnificent. I am very grateful to this man for inviting me to dinner and accompanying me to all these places. I made a new friend in China. 🙏🙏🙏"

"The appearance of the homestay is super stylish, the European-style building is particularly warm by the lights in the night, and the door is shocked by the high lobby! Exquisite crystal chandeliers, atmospheric ceiling design, textured marble walls, each place is exquisite and comfortable, taking pictures beyond the film.
The small outdoor courtyard is even better for my heart! Wood swings, scattered green plants, and string lights full of atmosphere. Sitting on the swing in the evening, the evening breeze blowing, watching the warm light in the courtyard, the fatigue of the day disappeared, as if living in a healing small garden, so comfortable! The sanitation of the homestay is impeccable, the public area is clean and tidy, the room is spotless, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the toiletries are complete, and every detail can feel the boss's intentions. The room is well lit and ventilated, and the sound insulation effect is superb. It is quiet at night and sleeps very soundly. It is completely comfortable at home."

"We booked a terrace room and balcony room for 6 people, including 2 over 60 years old and 2 over 70 years old. Because we felt good, we decided to stay one more day. The off-season gave us the opportunity to improvise and ”customize” :P The B&B has a good location, close to the beach, the central district, the Mazu Ancestral Temple, and the Tianfei Hometown. The public areas, rooms, and supplies in the rooms are clean and tidy. You can drink tea in the public area and enjoy the scenery on the terrace. The boss's family is kind, enthusiastic and thoughtful. We chartered an additional sightseeing bus for the boss, which made it convenient and less tiring for the elderly to travel. The boss and his wife prepared breakfast for us, and considering the elderly's physical condition, they also helped us recommend restaurants, introduce scenic spots, rent small electric motorcycles, etc. Since we wanted to cook our own meals, the boss took us to the vegetable market. We borrowed the kitchen and cooked delicious seafood. Afterwards, we washed the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen. We felt as comfortable as at home. Very satisfied with the homestay, recommended!"

There are even disposable toilet seats in the bathroom, which is much better than other B&Bs. It was very quiet at night, the bed was comfortable and I slept soundly. The Rainbow Road by the sea is very beautiful. You can drink tea on the balcony and enjoy the sea view, which is very comfortable. The boss and his wife are warm and attentive in their service. The soy milk for breakfast is freshly made every day and is very delicious. As soon as you drink it, you can tell that it is not made from soy milk powder that is made for the sake of cheapness and convenience. The breakfast is buffet style, very clean, hot and warm. The corn is sticky and fragrant, very healthy and delicious. It was also the first time I had shredded squid for breakfast. It was sweet and refreshing. I read the guide on a certain website, and it specifically mentioned that the must-try food on Meizhou Island is Chunweifang’s special fried buns. We went to buy some that afternoon but were scared away by the long line and didn’t get to try them. To our surprise, we saw them on the breakfast table at the B&B the next day, and they were really delicious! It seems that the proprietress really put a lot of effort into preparing these breakfasts to present the special snacks of Meizhou Island, focusing on health and wellness. Especially since the prices on Meizhou Island are so expensive, the family can save a lot of money by having a full breakfast! !

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy. The uncles and aunties at the Ming Inn were especially nice! The shuttle service was excellent! The surrounding transportation was convenient and there were many restaurants. The hotel also had electric bikes for rent, which was very convenient. The mirror had a light, which was perfect for putting on makeup. The sofa was also very comfortable. I will book again next time I come.

MM367230****I have never been too lazy to comment, but this time I was moved by the proprietress of this homestay on Weizhou Island! The pier made a special trip to arrange the boat to wait for the pick-up and drop-off. Her sincerity and kindness are just a beautiful picture of the simplicity and warmth in Mazu culture. The location of the homestay is excellent, the room is clean and tidy, the service is attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast is comfortable; the two children of the proprietress are also very well-behaved and sensible, and take the initiative to help us do things, and they are warm everywhere. Really recommend, I really feel the kindness and beauty of the island here 🙏

The location of the homestay is superb, facing the sea, the floor-to-ceiling windows of the sea view room are too healing, sitting by the window and drinking tea to see the sea is super pleasant. The rooms are fully equipped, hot water is sufficient, air conditioning is powerful, the details are full, and the toiletries are all good smelling of the sea. The yard is full of green plants, and the photos are huge. The boss is super nice, answer all questions, and also sent local special snacks. There is no thunder throughout the whole process. It is highly recommended to friends who come to the island to play!

GGuest UserI was extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel! The room was spotless, and the bathroom had no odor. As someone with a cleanliness obsession, I found it extremely comfortable. It's clear the owner has put a lot of effort into hygiene. There was also a projector for watching TV, a washing machine on the first floor, and a laundry and drying area behind the kitchen. The location is centrally situated on the island, making it convenient to go anywhere. Services included: electric scooter rentals at reasonable prices, sand-digging tools, and free pier shuttle service.

The sanitation is unexpectedly clean, the air is good, and it is very transparent. There are also projectors and air conditioners. There are even disposable toilet covers and bath towels. The mineral water is also branded. I didn't take it away after checking out, but bought a bottle at the convenience store downstairs for two yuan. Overall it is very good and the price is reasonable. CChengchengmuyaThe luckiest thing about this trip was to choose this homestay! When I first arrived, the boss greeted me warmly and helped with the luggage. The check-in process was particularly smooth, and he also introduced the fun places and delicious restaurants around.
The room is warm and exquisite, and every small detail can see the boss's intentions. The bed was soft and comfortable, the bedding was clean and tidy, and I slept very well at night. There is no smell in the bathroom, and the quality of toiletries is very good.
The public area of the homestay is spacious and comfortable, with comfortable sofas, free tea and pastries. It is really pleasant to bask in the sun and read a book here in the afternoon. AAliya Khwe’ve spent in the homestay 2 nights during the chinese holidays in May. it was very nice and welcoming, the owners were super friendly and helpful. we got picked up and dropped off at the harbor. the room was nice, big, clean. but you could hear the neighbors in the bathroom well , as the wall was super thin ( it’s okay, didn’t really bother us). the other thing is breakfast could be just a bit better ( just eggs, bun and porridge (rice with water).
the location is very good though, close to the market street and the beach! ahhh and we could hire scooters right are the homestay!
and the price was crazy expensive, i’ve checked later the prices during not chinese celebrations are much much cheaper 🤣
