"I came to Putian to run a marathon. The service and environment were very good. The item that deducted points was the air-conditioning outdoor unit. Like a guy in the comment section, I was woken up by the rumbling air-conditioning outdoor unit at two o'clock in the middle of the night (most people in commercial areas are reluctant to turn on the heating air-conditioning, and only other hotel tenants are using air-conditioning). Afterwards, I couldn't fall asleep while listening to the rumbling air-conditioning outdoor unit. Of course this is not the hotel owner's fault. I myself am very sensitive to sound, but it did make it really uncomfortable for me to run the marathon the next day, and I was in very bad shape. A suggestion is to prepare disposable earplugs and noise-reducing earmuffs, which can be provided free of charge or for a fee if tenants need them. In general, I am very satisfied with other aspects and highly recommend it."

"I chose their 270-degree sea view room online because it was significantly cheaper than similar rooms. So, I gave up my original plan for a twin-bed room. When I got to the room and opened the curtains, I was pleasantly surprised! It looked exactly like the pictures on the platform – what you see is what you get. It would have been even more perfect if there wasn't a rooftop in front, haha! 😂 The room was very clean, and there was plenty of space for luggage. There's a mini-fridge, and they even provided complimentary iced Coke! They offer port pickup and drop-off, and the owner was already waiting for us when we disembarked. The guesthouse's location is also very convenient; it's perfect for strolling from one end of Mazu Temple towards Ewei. The guesthouse has small electric scooters available for rent, but we tried one, and my driving skills weren't great, and I accidentally broke a small flower pot belonging to the guesthouse. I offered to pay, but the landlady insisted on not taking any money... She helped us find a reasonably priced mini-scooter rental and even warned us about the risk of scrapes since the rental scooter wasn't insured. The service was exceptional! At night, we felt an earthquake due to the tremor in Taiwan. I went downstairs, and the owner told me their guesthouse foundation could withstand a magnitude 4-5 earthquake, which immediately put my mind at ease, haha. It was a really great stay, definitely worth the two days I spent carefully choosing it!"

"Overall, the hotel was a decent stay with a few drawbacks. It’s about a 12-minute walk from the train station, which is convenient, although the building looks a bit shady from the outside. Inside, however, it’s very clean, the rooms are brand new as well. We arrived at 1am and found it closed, so we had to call to check in, which was a bit inconvenient. The biggest downside was the noise, there were firecrackers and fireworks going off until 5am (likely due to New Year’s Eve), making it hard to sleep. Also, the room only had one towel for two people. Overall, clean and modern, but with some inconveniences."

"The hotel is well located. I met the receptionist's husband, who is incredibly kind. He took me to visit several places, including the Shaolin Kung Fu Buddhist Temple and another well-known temple in Putian. The next day, he took me to climb Mount Jiuhua. The view of the city was magnificent. I am very grateful to this man for inviting me to dinner and accompanying me to all these places. I made a new friend in China. 🙏🙏🙏"

"I chose to live in Chaoxi B&B for two consecutive years. The room is fully equipped and clean. The location is upstairs in Wanda, Putian Chengxiang District, and it is very convenient to travel and eat. More mainly because the proprietress is very good, friendly, and helped me accept the package I mailed, because I wrote the wrong building number, the proprietress specially ran to help me get it back! Thank you very much. I have never cooperated with the solution in time when I encounter things. recommend!"

"It is too correct for family trips to choose this homestay on Weizhou Island! The free shuttle bus from and from the pier is particularly friendly to the elderly and children. The views from the hotel were breathtaking— But what truly made my experience special was the staff. They were incredibly hands-on, friendly, and went out of their way to assist with anything I needed. Their hospitality made me feel right at home.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Meizhou.
Most importantly, I haven’t slept this well in a long time! The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and everything was just perfect for a restful night.

GGuest UserThe boss's house includes car pick-up and drop-off, and the reception is very warm and easy to get along with. He is responsive to any requests and very heartwarming. The B&B looks very new and clean, with cozy details everywhere. The disposable toothbrush is a pleasant surprise and the selection is very good! The breakfast is very rich and varied. I highly recommend it. You can also use the kitchen to cook your own meals. The room facilities are also very new and cost-effective. I really think it's pretty good. I want to stay here again next time. The sea is right in front of you as soon as you go out. The location is good and you can see the unbeatable sea view from the roadside in front, which is suitable for checking in and taking photos!

Each floor had a differently themed living room outside the rooms, giving it a homely feel. 😂 We chose to stay near the Ancestral Temple to worship the Queen of Heaven. The hostess took us on a walking pilgrimage early in the morning. I woke up late, so she arranged for her husband to drive me there. The experience was solemn yet lighthearted, creating a sense of peace and tranquility. When we returned to the B&B, the hostess had already prepared breakfast. Knowing I'm a vegetarian, she prepared her own pickled radish and homegrown vegetables, which were incredibly fragrant. From the fourth-floor balcony, you can see the entire Ancestral Temple and, to the side, the ocean. The scenery is breathtaking. I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family. Jingdu is my top choice for those visiting Meizhou.

MM367230****I have never been too lazy to comment, but this time I was moved by the proprietress of this homestay on Weizhou Island! The pier made a special trip to arrange the boat to wait for the pick-up and drop-off. Her sincerity and kindness are just a beautiful picture of the simplicity and warmth in Mazu culture. The location of the homestay is excellent, the room is clean and tidy, the service is attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast is comfortable; the two children of the proprietress are also very well-behaved and sensible, and take the initiative to help us do things, and they are warm everywhere. Really recommend, I really feel the kindness and beauty of the island here 🙏

GGuest UserI was extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel! The room was spotless, and the bathroom had no odor. As someone with a cleanliness obsession, I found it extremely comfortable. It's clear the owner has put a lot of effort into hygiene. There was also a projector for watching TV, a washing machine on the first floor, and a laundry and drying area behind the kitchen. The location is centrally situated on the island, making it convenient to go anywhere. Services included: electric scooter rentals at reasonable prices, sand-digging tools, and free pier shuttle service.

The sanitation is unexpectedly clean, the air is good, and it is very transparent. There are also projectors and air conditioners. There are even disposable toilet covers and bath towels. The mineral water is also branded. I didn't take it away after checking out, but bought a bottle at the convenience store downstairs for two yuan. Overall it is very good and the price is reasonable. I will come again next time! ! ! Hehehe~

AAliya Khwe’ve spent in the homestay 2 nights during the chinese holidays in May. it was very nice and welcoming, the owners were super friendly and helpful. we got picked up and dropped off at the harbor. the room was nice, big, clean. but you could hear the neighbors in the bathroom well , as the wall was super thin ( it’s okay, didn’t really bother us). the other thing is breakfast could be just a bit better ( just eggs, bun and porridge (rice with water).
the location is very good though, close to the market street and the beach! ahhh and we could hire scooters right are the homestay!
and the price was crazy expensive, i’ve checked later the prices during not chinese celebrations are much much cheaper 🤣

Since we didn't know the time and route of where we wanted to go, the boss was very patient and helped us check. The room was well-equipped and the sanitation was very good. It was cost-effective.
