"Overall, the hotel was a decent stay with a few drawbacks. It’s about a 12-minute walk from the train station, which is convenient, although the building looks a bit shady from the outside. Inside, however, it’s very clean, the rooms are brand new as well. We arrived at 1am and found it closed, so we had to call to check in, which was a bit inconvenient. The biggest downside was the noise, there were firecrackers and fireworks going off until 5am (likely due to New Year’s Eve), making it hard to sleep. Also, the room only had one towel for two people. Overall, clean and modern, but with some inconveniences."

"I chose their 270-degree sea view room online because it was significantly cheaper than similar rooms. So, I gave up my original plan for a twin-bed room. When I got to the room and opened the curtains, I was pleasantly surprised! It looked exactly like the pictures on the platform – what you see is what you get. It would have been even more perfect if there wasn't a rooftop in front, haha! 😂 The room was very clean, and there was plenty of space for luggage. There's a mini-fridge, and they even provided complimentary iced Coke! They offer port pickup and drop-off, and the owner was already waiting for us when we disembarked. The guesthouse's location is also very convenient; it's perfect for strolling from one end of Mazu Temple towards Ewei. The guesthouse has small electric scooters available for rent, but we tried one, and my driving skills weren't great, and I accidentally broke a small flower pot belonging to the guesthouse. I offered to pay, but the landlady insisted on not taking any money... She helped us find a reasonably priced mini-scooter rental and even warned us about the risk of scrapes since the rental scooter wasn't insured. The service was exceptional! At night, we felt an earthquake due to the tremor in Taiwan. I went downstairs, and the owner told me their guesthouse foundation could withstand a magnitude 4-5 earthquake, which immediately put my mind at ease, haha. It was a really great stay, definitely worth the two days I spent carefully choosing it!"

The hotel is near the train station but to the town centre, the journey was 30 minutes by didi. Overall, we are happy with the stay. When we left the hotel, we used their free drop-ofd service at the train station."

The beach right next to the hotel isn't for swimming; you have to go to the sunrise beach to get into the water."

"This hotel was recently renovated this year. The room was spacious and clean with no unpleasant odors. All the amenities inside were brand new and excellent. There's parking available right outside. While the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, there are plenty of small eateries right downstairs on the street, one after another. The front desk staff were all enthusiastic and always ready to help. It's a hotel with great value for money, highly recommended!"

"I came to Weizhou Island recommended by a friend! The first time I came to Fujian city Putian Weizhou Island, I saw a homestay for a long time before I came, and finally decided on this one. The beach is really beautiful outside the window! ! When I arrived at the pier in the afternoon, I contacted the boss to pick me up. Just after I checked in, Miss Sister sent me a cold fruit. It happened to be very hot at that time and the heat was relieved instantly. The homestay can also directly rent a small eDonkey. You can ride a small eDonkey to visit the entire island directly. It is very convenient. Put some photos taken on the island. The weather is really special! ! I am also very grateful to the brothers and sisters of the hotel. This trip to Weizhou Island is perfect. I will definitely come back if I have a chance!"

"Super satisfied! ! ! The homestay itself is very new and clean, with complete facilities and modern bedding. Living on the fourth floor has a sea view rooftop with invincible scenery. Independent breakfast, exquisite and rich, from 7 o'clock to 11 o'clock, far beyond the average homestay level. The location is close to the Tianhou Palace (shocked at night), there is a food street nearby, all within 10 minutes walk, very convenient. The boss and his wife are friendly and welcoming, with appropriate benefits, providing very practical routes and transportation information. The boss not only picked up the station at the pier, but we played on the island after checking out. The boss readily helped us send the stored luggage directly to the pier, so that we could catch the return liner smoothly and had a great time. The people and scenery in Mazu's hometown are beautiful, I hope to have a chance to come again!"

GGuest UserThe owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. When it suddenly rained while we were out, the owner even brought us ponchos. The guesthouse is very close to the farmers' market, and the room facilities are excellent. Breakfast includes congee, fried dough sticks, eggs (fried or boiled), pastries, pickled mustard tubers, and small dried shrimps. At other times, you can ask the owner to cook fried rice for a reasonable price, and it tastes delicious. They also provide tools for mudflats foraging. Overall, it's a fantastic guesthouse, highly recommended! 👍🏻

GGuest UserI was extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel! The room was spotless, and the bathroom had no odor. As someone with a cleanliness obsession, I found it extremely comfortable. It's clear the owner has put a lot of effort into hygiene. There was also a projector for watching TV, a washing machine on the first floor, and a laundry and drying area behind the kitchen. The location is centrally situated on the island, making it convenient to go anywhere. Services included: electric scooter rentals at reasonable prices, sand-digging tools, and free pier shuttle service.

GGuest UserI stayed in Meizhou Island for five or six days. This hotel is clean, comfortable, safe, and homely. You can even dry clothes on the fourth-floor balcony☺ and overlook the entire Mazu Temple. During my stay, the proprietress was really cheerful and kind. She would remind us to get up early every morning at four or five o'clock to worship Mazu. I stayed here for so many days just to worship Mazu. Every day here is filled with overflowing emotion and warmth. On the day I was about to leave for my next trip, the proprietress made delicious cakes for me to eat, and also filled a bag of dried radish, Meizhou seaweed, and a peace amulet bag for me. When I left, she didn't forget to help me book a car to the station. In the heavy rain, the boss personally helped me carry my overweight luggage down from the fourth floor and drove me to the pier. This hotel may not have luxurious five-star facilities and decorations, but it is full of warmth and home. P.S. Thank you again for the blessings of Mazu along the way. #Health #Service

MMlacydaiwangThis is the hotel I booked after comparing with so many other hotels. The room is so big hahaha. The price/performance ratio is very high. The sanitation is unexpectedly clean, the air is good, and it is very transparent. There are also projectors and air conditioners. There are even disposable toilet covers and bath towels. The mineral water is also branded. I didn't take it away after checking out, but bought a bottle at the convenience store downstairs for two yuan. Overall it is very good and the price is reasonable. I will come again next time! ! ! Hehehe~

MM419816****I came to Putian to run a marathon. The service and environment were very good. The item that deducted points was the air-conditioning outdoor unit. Like a guy in the comment section, I was woken up by the rumbling air-conditioning outdoor unit at two o'clock in the middle of the night (most people in commercial areas are reluctant to turn on the heating air-conditioning, and only other hotel tenants are using air-conditioning). Afterwards, I couldn't fall asleep while listening to the rumbling air-conditioning outdoor unit. Of course this is not the hotel owner's fault. I myself am very sensitive to sound, but it did make it really uncomfortable for me to run the marathon the next day, and I was in very bad shape. A suggestion is to prepare disposable earplugs and noise-reducing earmuffs, which can be provided free of charge or for a fee if tenants need them. In general, I am very satisfied with other aspects and highly recommend it.

GGuest UserThe location of the homestay is very superior and the transportation is convenient. The decoration of the room is warm and comfortable, great! Not far from the homestay is the famous Nanshaolin Scenic Area, next to the university town, let our trip be more colorful, and we will come again next time! What I want to say is that this homestay is located in a quiet town, with a beautiful surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the pressure. I chose a warm room, which was furnished with a homely feeling and made me feel very comfortable.

Check-in was super quick, and they even provided helpful recommendations for nearby attractions. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were high-quality. The hotel's location is fantastic, with restaurants and shopping nearby, making it incredibly convenient for travel. GGuest UserThe hotel is in a prime location, with a Walmart supermarket opposite, making parking and shopping very convenient. The service is warm and thoughtful. On the third day of the Chinese New Year, we were given a free upgrade to a suite. Thank you very much. The room is spacious, bright, clean and tidy. The stay experience is great. Moreover, there was no random price increase during the Spring Festival, and the price-performance ratio is high, so it is worth recommending.

GGuest UserFirst off do not book here if you don't have a high level of spoken Chinese. You will need to phone the landlord to get shown to the apartment and get the keys. It is an apartment not a hotel and it is down a back alley with no signage (it's the door on the right on the third floor of the third apartment block down the first small 弄/alley off the bigger back street, turning left from the corner shop called 山土特产, but again you'll need the key). The landlord was friendly and helpful, gave some recommendations for the area and brought extra disposable towels when I asked. Cleanliness was not spectacular as there were some used tissues left on the floor by the bed (behind the bedside table) and there was no hand soap provided, but other than this I was satisfied with the stay. It is very well located for tourism in the Xinghuafu historic zone.
