The courtyard is very beautiful. The boss's care can be seen everywhere. The boss is very warm and friendly. The lady is beautiful and kind and made us delicious coffee. The room is clean and tidy. Disposable slippers, earmuffs, eye masks, disposable bath towels, disposable toilet mats, toiletries... too complete. The main thing every day is to go around looking for food and being in a daze... This place happens to be on the main street and is not far from the food stores and tie-dye stores where you can check in. If it weren't for the lack of vacation, I really want to stay longer.

Guest UserThis is absolutely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and bright. I booked two rooms for one night. The rooms have a smart home system and great hot and cold water pressure. Each room has a complimentary minibar and many thoughtful amenities. The hotel is located in the old town, in a superb location. The owners are warm and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

As an SLH hotel, I had high expectations before arriving, but was ultimately disappointed.
However, it's not all bad. The following met my expectations:
1) Good maintenance and design of public areas
2) Xiao Gong from the restaurant was proactive and attentive to detail.
3) The alpaca feeder at the construction site in the backyard saw me looking at the alpacas through a gap in the back and pointed me through the bamboo grove in the construction area, even bringing me carrots to feed them (the message in the check-in group said carrots would be placed on the table, but they weren't).
The following did not meet my expectations:
1) Poor soundproofing in the room, and limescale in the sink and stains on the bathroom walls;
2) I needed tea sets to send a message, but they weren't delivered to my room even after two days, and I was too lazy to send another message;
3) Besides the aforementioned food and beverage service and the shuttle service at the North Gate of the Old Town, there were no other services, and no proactive service was provided. The card making experience was completely self-service; you had to find the paper and ink yourself from the cabinet, resulting in the card making tools and boards being in poor condition.

The second time I came to Lushan, in the peak season of the New Year, it is really rare to insist on no premium. The location is super good to walk to the pioneer and the ancient city. The small terrace is invincible and can take care of the privacy. The whole style is very warm and comfortable. The boss is hospitable and has his own parking lot. There are a lot of food near the ancient city, and it will definitely be n brushed.

To escape the frenzy of Kunming ancient town, we took a 2.5 hr train ride to Weishan - an authentic, uncommercialized old town with the splendid Yuan Chuang Yi Su hotel.
The bed is super comfortable, and the window seat great for relaxing after a truly hot shower. Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan.
We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries.
The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village.

Guest UserEnvironment: Online reviews and comments described this as the most beautiful guesthouse in Weishan Ancient Town. The wooden structure is charming and the decorations are indeed beautiful. It's located in a great location within the ancient town.
Service: The owner was very friendly, even though I was out early and back late. On my first day, I was working late and the main door was locked, but I called the owner to open it.
Facilities: There are several tea rooms and rest areas, creating a feeling of being nestled in the mountains and by the water. The guesthouse itself has views and a courtyard. However, the bathroom's wet and dry separation wasn't very good, and the shower pressure wasn't very strong.
The convenience of being in the ancient town is great, but the downside is that the old wooden structure has poor sound insulation, and the accommodation space is cramped. The tatami room, about 30 square meters, had a large area dedicated to a tea table. With two suitcases open, it was almost impossible to move around, and people were jumping around on the bed! 😂 The room had a courtyard view, and there was a guqin (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument) area right by the window where children would play and relax, which was quite noisy. Privacy was also poor; I could only keep the curtains drawn. The seats near the entrance were often occupied by people chatting and relaxing.
Hygiene: It can't be compared to chain hotels. Small black spots and particles were found on the bath towels and bedding. There were cobwebs in the bathroom. Being close to nature, some small insects and moths are unavoidable.
Suitable for travelers who are out early and back late, and who prioritize decor and convenience.

The location of the small courtyard is very good, in a small alley, tens of meters away from the main street of Lushan Ancient City, convenient and quiet. The yard has a water system, a pavilion, and a full national charm. On the day I arrived, the boss was not there. He called him and arrived in two or three minutes. It felt very suitable for people who like quiet.
The room was very warm and the bedding was very comfortable. Mats are also laid on the wooden floor.
It is really a very cost-effective homestay, I wish the boss a prosperous business.
In addition, I really like the ancient city of Lushan. There are few people and quiet. Many shops are opened by local Aniang. They are simple and enthusiastic, and they are really comfortable. Lushan also has Pioneer Bookstore, which is really a paradise on earth for people who like to read.

Guest UserThe inn is right inside the ancient city. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the owner is warm, thoughtful and helpful!
The reason I chose this inn is that the room is very comfortable and the transportation in and out of the ancient city is very convenient! It is very close to famous attractions such as museums, and also very close to the snack street! Especially the handmade dough sticks shop is right next to it! Highly recommend! I will book this one next time I come!

Want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city? Just come to this ancient house! The old house is as old as the old, the wooden floor is stepped on with a gentle sound, the continuous wood carving and brick carving are exquisite, and every detail is the charm of time precipitation. The homestay is simple and elegant, there is no extra decoration, there is no need to catch the itinerary here, no need to do a strategy, you need to enjoy the slow time, this healing and comfortable experience, let me stay for two nights and still reluctant to leave, I will definitely come again next time!

I was hesitant to book this guesthouse when it opened at the end of September because there were no reviews and no pictures. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The courtyard was beautiful and clean. The owners seemed to be a family of three. The house was very well maintained, and the courtyard was cozy. I especially enjoyed watching TV on the balcony at night; it was incredibly relaxing. I stayed for two days, and on the second day, when I asked the owners to take out the trash, they cleaned and tidied the entire room. Breakfast was free at a noodle shop next door. Everything was excellent. The guesthouse also has loft suites, which are large and spacious. The other rooms I looked at each had their own unique charm. The price was cheap, especially considering it's located in the old town.
