"I was on a business trip to Weishan Ancient Town for a few days and was attracted to this guesthouse by the pictures on its homepage. The reality was exactly the same as the pictures – very nice and full of ancient charm! The old wooden building with its arched doorways, the small pond in the courtyard with koi, and the many potted plants in the yard all showed how carefully they've been maintained! What impressed me most was the staff's attitude. They greeted me whenever I came or went, and even shared fruit and roasted tea – it felt as relaxed as visiting a friend's house! They also promptly helped resolve any small issues (superb!)."

He speaks english and is always available to provide helpful information, assist in any way he can, or just to have a chat. Weishan is also a lovely and peaceful place. Not only did they proactively offer pick-up and drop-off service, saving me the hassle of dragging my luggage around, but they also specially hand-brewed a cup of coffee for me when I left, which was both heartwarming and a pleasant surprise. Throughout my stay, they were incredibly attentive, helping me solve any issues promptly. It felt just like visiting a friend's home. In short, both the environment and service at this guesthouse are impeccable. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Weishan! "It is a garden-style B&B. The entire hotel is full of plants. The environment is quiet and clean. It is located next to Chongzheng Academy of Pioneer Bookstore. It is also a must-visit place when visiting Weishan! It is only a few hundred meters away from the ancient city, and there are many restaurants, snacks and supermarkets nearby. All the staff are very friendly and warm, and the service is attentive. They provide fresh fruits, tea, tour suggestions, car rental services, and help with luggage every day. In addition to well-preserved historical buildings, rich intangible cultural heritage, and sincerity, the treasures of Weishan Warm people! It was a perfect experience!"

"To escape the frenzy of Kunming ancient town, we took a 2.5 hr train ride to Weishan - an authentic, uncommercialized old town with the splendid Yuan Chuang Yi Su hotel. The bed is super comfortable, and the window seat great for relaxing after a truly hot shower. Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV! Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market! Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan. We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries. The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village."

"The most comfortable stop for the trip to Yunnan is Lushan, and the most comfortable place to live is Lushan Lushan Ruyi B&B. "I stayed for 9 days; if I didn't have to work, I could have stayed for a month. The room boasts an unbeatable view of Weishan, bathed in sunlight on sunny days. The room was neatly and elegantly furnished, and the cleanliness and attention to detail perfectly suited my fastidious nature. I even asked the owner for a link to the bedding. The owner's tea knowledge is as extensive as his expertise; it was so pleasant to chat with him over tea in the bright lobby when I didn't want to go out. The owner's wife and mother were warm and lively, and their succulent garden was beautiful. Their welcome flower pastries were delicious. The owner personally picks you up and drops you off at the station and also provides transportation when you go out to explore the surrounding area. Of all the guesthouses I've stayed in, this was the most comfortable one. If you come to Weishan, room 204 with its sunlight and view is definitely worth it."
