"I stayed at three riads in Fes, and this one was the most beautiful! Even before booking, the photos looked gorgeous, and stepping inside still left me speechless with ”WOW~WOW~WOW~”! The blue and white color scheme was like a castle from Ice Princess's castle—so beautiful and romantic! The host, like the house he decorated, was a gentleman—gentle, thoughtful, and generous. His service was comprehensive and professional, a truly welcoming experience! Our room was especially beautiful, clean, comfortable, and impeccably designed!
We had to leave for the airport at 4:30 am the next day, so we hadn't booked breakfast. The host had thoughtfully prepared a bag of snacks and drinks for us, which was incredibly touching and heartwarming. This trip to Morocco has been filled with so many wonderful experiences. The kind and genuine Moroccan people completely shattered my preconceived notions about Morocco. You really have to see and experience the world for yourself to know its true nature!"

民宿位置很好，走路五分鐘就到了藍色大門，遊覽麥地那老城特別方便。就是在一條小巷裡，不太好找。其他老城裡的里亞德應該有同樣的問題，畢竟菲斯老城有9000多條小巷子，太複雜了
早餐是每人一份，精緻而豐盛，有三種麪包或當地麪餅類主食，橙汁，水果，酸奶，煎蛋，咖啡或茶。
服務人員態度特別好，我們是自駕，到達第一天導航把我們導到了一個禁入門口，顯示衹有300米，於是我讓先生停在那裡，我自己走路去找，但導到一個三岔口目標消失，眼前出現兩條很深的巷子。當地人問我要了20迪拉姆，結果到了才發現不是我預訂的這家，而是另外一家也叫Zamane的民宿，在我的央求下，工作人員帶我去了位於另一條小巷裡我要找的Zamane, 我看了一下門口的牌子，寫的是“Riad Zamane Maison d’hotes ”，而不是攜程上“Riad Zamane boutique &spa”, 不知道是不是這個原因，導致無法正確導到。當天會英文的經理生病了沒來上班，也沒有做好安排。特別感謝負責房間打掃的Nadia女士，放下手裡的活，跟我一起走到我們停車的地方，指引我們從另外一條路開到民宿附近停好車。
還要感謝一位H開頭（我忘了他全名）的帥小夥，幫我們去買礦泉水，他總是面帶微笑，見面就熱情打招呼，很親切。這裏想建議民宿能在房間裏放幾瓶礦泉水，至少一大瓶，菲斯很乾，太需要了。"

Ne pas hésiter à aller manger dans la ville nouvelle, on y va avec taxi pour 2€ par trajet (4€ a/r)
Attention: l hôtel affirme accepter la carte bancaire mais nous n avons pas pu régler 170dirham(17€) par carte car commission trop importante . Que les montants élevés sont acceptés ( à prendre en compte si vous payez en fin de séjour et que vous avez l’argent compté)

"Riad is on the edge of Medina, go from the busy tourist part of the minutes 25-30.
In the evening it is better not to walk, maybe it is not safe.
The room was big with a good bed.

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unexpected Moroccan traditional courtyard experience! **
The **Volubilis Hotel** that I stayed at in Fez this time was really great! The hotel is located in the old city of Medina, and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the Blue Gate of Boujilou. The location is super convenient. As soon as I entered the door, I was amazed by the Moroccan traditional courtyard. The mosaic tiles and carved wooden doors are super atmospheric and beautiful for taking pictures!
Special thanks to our Chinese tour guide **Director Lin (WeChat: **********)**, who helped to book a price cheaper than the platform and upgraded the suite for free! The room was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the terrace overlooked the panoramic view of the old city of Fez. Director Lin also recommended a super authentic tagine restaurant near the hotel, which was much better than the Internet celebrity restaurant!
The hotel service is also very considerate. The front desk is fluent in English and helped arrange airport pick-up and local SPA. You must try the mint tea and honey pancakes for breakfast! If you come to Fez, I strongly recommend staying here. Find Director Lin (WeChat as above) to book and you can also get a desert group coupon, which is super cost-effective!"

MMaojiubuhuijiaWe stayed four nights in Fes and experienced three different Riads. This was our absolute favorite and the most satisfying. The owner is a true gentleman, providing professional, attentive, and thorough service. We felt treated like guests in a high-end hotel, not like we were intruding into someone's home. This Riad isn't the largest, but it's the cleanest; everything was spotless, the bedding wasn't damp, and it felt ancient yet not outdated. You could tell the owner put a lot of care into every detail. Plus, the breakfast was delicious! The croissants and small pancakes were just incredible. I originally planned to try a different Riad every day, but because the experience here was so great, I booked an extra night. The price was also the best! The other two Riads I booked were only a 3-5 minute walk away and both more expensive, yet their service, cleanliness, and hospitality weren't as good as this one. Highly recommend!

Spacious rooms, clean modern toilets and showers with lockable doors, very tasteful décor, robust air conditioning system. Customer service was very good, house keeping was superb, both concierges Abu Bakr and Muhammad were very professional and kind, they communicated very well with us and took care to see to all of our needs. We thoroughly delighted over the variety and the overall quality of food at the accompanying Restaurant Soultana. Highly recommended.

NNuwanda0423The stairwell is relatively narrow, and the waiter will help carry the luggage upstairs. The room hygiene, especially the bathroom, is more general and the stains are obvious. The mattress and quilt are very comfortable and sleep well. The breakfast looks very rich, you know, it is actually bread, jam, juice mint tea. The owner and staff love to interact.

Our 2 day stay was nothing short of enchanting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, adorned with traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities, provided a luxurious retreat after a day of exploration. The staff always attentive with insightful recommendations, made all the difference to our stay.
Riad Algila truly embodies the essence of Moroccan hospitality offering a respite of calm and beauty amidst the vibrant tapestry of Fes.

DDarrenA private and beautiful hotel outside the Medina, Hotel Sahrai is a good choice for travellers looking to reside outside the hustle and bustle of the old city. The amenities provided were top class though the breakfast selection and dinner quality could be improved upon. The hotel sits on top of a hill and the rooftop provides a beautiful view of the old medina and Jewish quarters. This is a good choice if you have a lot of luggage as cars are not allowed to drop you in Riads inside the Medina.

- you need to walk to the riad it’s not accessible with a taxi ; once you get off the taxi it’s about a 6 min walk when you know where your going . There are directions but the first time in Medina , there will be people need the taxi haggling to help with your luggage and bring you ; it’s worth the 20MAD tip because it’s a max in the Medina.

GGuest UserMy stay in Fez was truly memorable, thanks to the warmth and professionalism of Hager, the manager.
We arrived later than planned, reaching the property at 11 p.m. instead of the expected 9 p.m., yet Hager welcomed us with kindness and patience, making us feel completely at ease despite the late hour. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay.
Hager was also incredibly accommodating with breakfast. She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. It was one of the highlights of the stay and a perfect way to start the day.
At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay.
The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and felt welcoming after long days of exploring.
What truly stood out was the genuine care and hospitality throughout the stay. Hager’s calm, thoughtful, and supportive approach made a real difference and reflects the high standards of this place.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Fez — not just for the location and comfort, but for the exceptional hospitality you’ll experience here.

GGuest UserGreat stay overall. The location is perfect, right inside the medina. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. Breakfast was rich and very tasty.
The only small issue was that the hot water was a bit limited, so showers need to be quick, but the water temperature was good.
What really impressed us was how kind the host was. We had to leave early on our second day and could not stay for breakfast, so he prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. It was packed very carefully and was perfect for the road. We were very touched by this kindness.

GGuest UserA very beautiful riad in the middle of medina, we are so happy to have stayed here. Mesmerising inner court, authentic-looking room, and a wonderful host Youssef, who is very welcoming and always ready to help.
We stayed in the end of December, so it wasn’t exactly warm in the room, and if there was a heater of some sort, that would be just perfect. But then again, it was the 4th riad in a row we stayed at, and it was the warmest of them all even without aircon or heater. With that being said, I’m sure the temperature would feel just perfect during spring, summer or autumn.
