"Dar D'or Fes is the definition of hospitality. Namir and his staff went beyond our expectations and took great care of us from the beginning. He provides useful information for navigating the medina and advice for finding good tour guides and day trip providers. Alrhough the stairs were quite steep to get to our suite, the staff made sure we didn't have to carry our luggage up. They were also extremely flexible to accommodate our itinerary. We had to leave at 8am for our day trip to chefchaouen and the day of departure and on both days they prepared breakfast for us prior to the regular time. All in all, it was a very heart warming experience staying at Dar D'or Fes. I will give it q score of AMAZING out of 10!"

"A Worry-Free and Heartwarming Accommodation Experience in the Ancient Town This accommodation deserves full marks! When we arrived, the roads in the ancient town were closed, and we couldn't drive in. The owner proactively contacted us, explained the situation carefully, and waited at the intersection beforehand, patiently guiding us to the guesthouse on foot. Communication was timely and courteous. The guesthouse itself was a pleasant surprise. It was spotless and very clean, with a beautiful and comfortable overall environment. The owner also warmly led us to the rooftop terrace, showing us the view and offering to take photos for us – truly thoughtful. The breakfast on the second day was a highlight – simple yet delicious, especially the owner's fried eggs, which were excellent. What reassured us most was a small incident after check-out. We accidentally left our credit card and some personal toiletries in the room and later went back to retrieve them. The owner had already carefully tidied everything up and kept them safe for us, allowing us to retrieve them smoothly. This responsible attitude made us feel very reliable. Overall, it was a smooth-communication, comfortable, and reassuring experience. The owner is polite and helpful, and the guesthouse is clean and tidy, with attention to detail evident in every aspect. Highly recommended!"

"Incredible service every step of the way. Mohammed is an absolute legend who helped us out with everything from finding laundry on night one to sorting us out with a guide around Fes. Beautiful place on the outskirts of the Medina with easy access to the roundabout and the Blue Gate. Would 100000% stay here again. "The courtyard is quite beautiful, the breakfast is quite rich, the reception is very warm and it is a perfect and enjoyable stay. It is a 5-minute walk from the Blue Gate and a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to Chefchaouen. Oh, the scenery that the roof garden looks out is beautiful. Fine snacks and postcards were also given when leaving the store."

"This is a hidden gem of Fes 😍 we were very well treated and the room is cosy and beautiful. The shower head needs something to hold it in place so water does not splash all around but apart from that everything else was perfect. The night receptionist was amazing to make us some breakfast bags for our early trip the next day, and he helped with a taxi and all. My friend has done the hamman and loved it. Well recommended!"

"Although it's tucked away, you can find it easily by following Google Maps. During check-in, they kindly showed me around Fes on a map. They were also really flexible and helpful when I needed to change my booking dates last minute. On my last day, when I mentioned I had an early train at 7 AM, they even packed a takeaway breakfast for me. I stayed for 3 nights and had a very satisfying visit. Thank you!"

"Facilities: In Riad, the room type is huge and worthy of the title of suite suite. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is bright. The public area is definitely a ceiling level in Fesri. It is worth visiting to take pictures and punch in. After all, it is a 700-year-old building. But it is recently renovated, so don't worry about old equipment and facilities. The furniture and other materials are exquisite, and even snail technology. On the hottest day, my deluxe room air conditioning was not strong, so I upgraded to a family suite directly (other room types are full, it can be seen that it is very hot) Hygienic: clean and tidy, whether it is in the room or in the public area, restaurants, etc., it can meet the five-star standard. Environment: Look at the picture to know how beautiful the public area environment is. Mosaic walls, atriums, green plants, chairs, etc., all see the work. At the same time, the location is in the center of the old city, about 15 minutes walk from the parking lot. There are too many alleys. Remember to look at the hotel signs on the walls in the streets and alleys, and it is not difficult to find. Service: The service is good overall, the staff in the hotel are very warm, the breakfast is full, and the terrace is dining, and the unique old town scenery can be photographed. "My stay in Fez was truly memorable, thanks to the warmth and professionalism of Hager, the manager. We arrived later than planned, reaching the property at 11 p.m. instead of the expected 9 p.m., yet Hager welcomed us with kindness and patience, making us feel completely at ease despite the late hour. She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay. The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and felt welcoming after long days of exploring. What truly stood out was the genuine care and hospitality throughout the stay. Hager’s calm, thoughtful, and supportive approach made a real difference and reflects the high standards of this place. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Fez — not just for the location and comfort, but for the exceptional hospitality you’ll experience here."
