"Прекраснейший аутентичный риад, расположение супер - на окраине медины, в тихом месте, 3 минуты пешком от парковки. Королевский номер действительно королевский, резьба и роспись, как в музеях, ретро мебель, люстры, грандиозно. Очень просторный номер, двуспальная кровать и две односпальные. Нас очень тепло встретили, угостили мятным чаем и печеньем, дали карту медины и рассказали какие места стоит посетить. Очень сытный и красивый завтрак в саду под пение птиц. Бассейн небольшой, но достаточно места и глубины, чтобы плавать. Терраса на крыше тоже прекрасна. Мы очень благодарны сотрудникам риада."

"We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Volubilis. We hesitated to book the hotel because of some bad reviews about not having hot water and the staff being unfriendly (especially to Asians). But we decided to book anyways because of its location and quite affordable price. We were arriving to Fez at around 5pm, and we were told staying at the Medina wouldn't be worth it. Since we were catching a flight the next morning, we thought it would be more convenient to stay in the new city. So, despite some of the bad reviews, we decided to spend the night at Hotel Volubilis. Its location turned out to be great. It's right at the center and by the main avenue. There are lots of places to eat at walking distance and there are several Carrefours closeby also at walking distance. The staff was nice and they welcomed us well and took our request for a taxi to the airport in the morning. So, we have no complaints about the staff. Our room was big with a terrace. The room was old but clean. The terrace had no table or chairs, but it was okay. The bathroom was also big and we had no issues with the hot water. We showered at arrival and in the morning and water was hot and with pressure. The thing that we missed the most in the room was a fridge. Other than that, all good and acceptable. Though we agree with the other comments saying that this is not a 4-star hotel by ”global” standards."

"The hotel room is clean, the bathroom is large, the breakfast is delicious, with a variety of varieties, there is freshly squeezed juice, there is an outdoor swimming pool, the front desk service is very good, and you can introduce local guides."

"This is a hidden gem of Fes 😍 we were very well treated and the room is cosy and beautiful. The shower head needs something to hold it in place so water does not splash all around but apart from that everything else was perfect. The night receptionist was amazing to make us some breakfast bags for our early trip the next day, and he helped with a taxi and all. My friend has done the hamman and loved it. Well recommended!"

"The courtyard is quite beautiful, the breakfast is quite rich, the reception is very warm and it is a perfect and enjoyable stay. It is a 5-minute walk from the Blue Gate and a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to Chefchaouen. Oh, the scenery that the roof garden looks out is beautiful. Fine snacks and postcards were also given when leaving the store."

"Incredible service every step of the way. Mohammed is an absolute legend who helped us out with everything from finding laundry on night one to sorting us out with a guide around Fes. Beautiful place on the outskirts of the Medina with easy access to the roundabout and the Blue Gate. Would 100000% stay here again. "My stay in Fez was truly memorable, thanks to the warmth and professionalism of Hager, the manager. We arrived later than planned, reaching the property at 11 p.m. instead of the expected 9 p.m., yet Hager welcomed us with kindness and patience, making us feel completely at ease despite the late hour. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay. Hager was also incredibly accommodating with breakfast. She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. It was one of the highlights of the stay and a perfect way to start the day. At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay. The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and felt welcoming after long days of exploring. What truly stood out was the genuine care and hospitality throughout the stay. Hager’s calm, thoughtful, and supportive approach made a real difference and reflects the high standards of this place. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Fez — not just for the location and comfort, but for the exceptional hospitality you’ll experience here."
