Service details far exceeded expectations. Upon check-in, we were warmly greeted with complimentary welcome fruits, snacks, and drinks (the tangy beverage was exceptionally delicious), and given a nice little souvenir upon check-out. Chinese-speaking service is available throughout your stay, making it extremely friendly for Chinese tourists. The entire property is equipped with elevators, sparing guests the hassle of climbing stairs typical of heritage buildings. Rooms come with standard L'Occitane toiletries, a Nespresso capsule coffee machine, and a complimentary minibar. The air conditioning and hot water pressure were both consistently reliable, offering a refined quality of detail that rivals high-end resort hotels. The dining experience is thoughtful and practical: breakfast adopts a semi-buffet plus made-to-order format, featuring authentic local flavors such as Malaysian kaya toast. Guests are also entitled to two complimentary takeaway coffees daily, and free lobby afternoon tea is served during certain hours, offering unbeatable value for money. The early morning chanting from the nearby mosque at 6 AM and the bustling noise of the street night market can easily be heard in the rooms, though the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs. A local heritage tax applies in Melaka, so be sure to prepare some small change in advance.

Trip.com is truly unscrupulous, pushing this trashy hotel just for ad money, completely disregarding their conscience. 1. It's not a five-star; at most, it's a three-star. There's no service. On the first rainy day, the staff were actually gathered in a corner of the hotel smoking. A five-star rating isn't earned just by having an outdoor pool. 2. The hotel was renovated, not newly built in 2025. Who on earth has a five-star room with a window air conditioner? The walls are dirty, and the room door can't be deadbolted. Except for the lobby on the first floor, there's no air conditioning in the hallway on the second floor. There's no elevator, and you have to ask staff to help with luggage. Overall, it's a defective hotel where Wyndham seemingly ran out of money for a full renovation, started operating halfway through, and the operations can't keep up either. I'm guessing the staff's salaries aren't high, so they don't bother managing it, looking utterly idle. The weeds in the courtyard are as tall as grave grass—are you even going to clean them? My two biggest complaints: 1. Even if the AC isn't great, why does it blow directly at your head? And you dare claim to be five-star? 2. You clearly didn't bother with soundproofing, did you? Not only is there no soundproofing in the corridor, but when you converted the rooms, you just slapped a plywood board in a suite and dared to sell it? I can hear the whispered conversations from the bed next door. How am I supposed to sleep? Seriously, can these two issues send you straight to hell? To anyone reading this review: don't be fooled by '2025' or 'five-star.' You won't get a bargain (at least I didn't, and 400 yuan a night isn't exactly a steal). What makes it worthy of three stars: The bedding is relatively clean, the towels (though I didn't use them) seem to be of decent quality, the pool is barely usable, and the breakfast is edible.

The management of lift maintenance and security during weekends and public holidays needs to be given greater attention. Security personnel should be assigned to monitor and safeguard the lifts during these periods.

The hotel was clean and simple, although not much facilities since it’s a simple hotel, the place is clean and the staff are polite. 5min grab to jonker street area. Perfect for a weekend trip.

We stayed at the RC Hotel in Malacca for 3 consecutive nights. We booked a deluxe twin room with a window. Upon check-in at the front desk, we had to pay a RM100 cash deposit. We also paid a heritage tax of RM9. The hotel's location is super convenient! We took the M100 bus from Malacca Sentral Station, which cost RM1 per person, for 4 stops to the Ibis Hotel station, then walked about 400 meters to reach the hotel. Within 1km of the hotel, you can walk to Jonker Street, the Stadthuys (Dutch Square), St. Paul's Church, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, and the Zheng He Memorial Museum, among other famous attractions. There are also many delicious tea houses and Nyonya restaurants nearby. A taxi to the Malacca Straits Mosque takes about 15 minutes one way and costs approximately RM10. The front desk staff were friendly and arranged for us to stay in room 112. The window overlooked a street, and the room was spacious and well-equipped. We didn't need a converter plug for our domestic mobile phones, as they could be charged directly. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and there was a mini-fridge and a kettle. Complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, bath towels, razors, cotton swabs, slippers, toilet paper, shower gel, and instant coffee/tea bags were provided. The bathroom was wet/dry separated, and the room had a drying rack and hangers. The downside was that there were some ants in the room. Additionally, on the third day of our stay, no staff came to clean the room until 5:30 PM. We informed the front desk to arrange cleaning as soon as possible when we went out for dinner. When we returned, it was indeed cleaned, but strangely, our own blue bear-patterned towel and our own mouthwash cup, which we had been using fine for the past two days and left in the bathroom, were gone. Also, they didn't replenish disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, cotton swabs, etc. Since we were checking out the next morning to go to Kuala Lumpur, and these were minor issues, we didn't bother to communicate with the front desk again. We hope the hotel pays more attention to detail and standardizes its cleaning procedures. Such behavior of arbitrarily discarding guests' personal belongings is truly baffling. For a trip to Malacca, I highly recommend staying at least two nights to slow down and enjoy the unique charm of this small city. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening, Jonker Street has bustling street markets and various small performances. A leisurely stroll along the Malacca River in the quiet morning and evening hours is truly delightful. At the crossroads near Malacca Pay Fong Middle School, there is a large durian stall offering various Black Thorn durians from RM18 to RM48 per kg, as well as Langsat fruit for RM6 per kg, which is also very delicious. We had a wonderful and unforgettable time here and hope to visit Malacca again if we have the chance.

We had a pleasant stay at Swan Garden Resort. The overall environment was lovely — well-maintained gardens and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. Our room was clean and comfortable, which made a big difference to the overall experience. One drawback was the water pressure in the shower — it was quite low, which made showering less convenient than we'd hoped. It would be great if this could be improved. The breakfast selection was also a bit limited, with fewer food varieties than expected. A wider spread would definitely enhance the guest experience. That said, these were minor issues compared to the overall satisfaction we felt with the property. The setting, cleanliness, and general ambiance made up for the small shortcomings, and we'd consider staying again.

The spacious family room offered stunning ocean views, and the hotel facilities, including a large pool, sea view and bath tub . beyond expectation ! but Long waiting for lift to checkout due to The time between a hotel's standard checkout . I understand when housekeeping has the fewest hours to turn over the rooms, so any late checkouts are particularly disruptive.

Had a great stay at The Waves Suite Melaka! The place was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well maintained. The room was cosy and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and other places in Melaka. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, and the host was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The facilities were good and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and really enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Melaka. Would happily come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
