"Ambience really good, very calming and nice. The room is spacious and comfortable, making it easy to relax. Iron was provided and everything was well-prepared. Location is convenient too, walking distance to Mahkota Parade (just cross the road) and Dataran Pahlawan with a connecting bridge at Level 3. Parking per day after validate is RM5, but if have event can validate for RM3. *Dont have the pic of the room, but here’s is the holding room if you ever want to hold an event at Hatten Hotel."

"Location is great, room clealiness average, can be better. Hot shower is not working. Sound proofing is terrible. U can hear people talking, walk from corridor very loud and clear, open and close their room door will affect your sleep too."

"This hotel just opened two months ago, right by the sea near Portuguese Settlement. I didn't have high expectations initially, but I was so pleasantly surprised! The hotel is backed by the ocean, and there's a clean, beautiful pool right in the courtyard. The breakfast was rich and clean – especially the bread, which clearly wasn't pre-made, and the fruit was super fresh. It felt much more genuine than some of the five-star hotels in downtown Kuala Lumpur! Even at 9 or 10 PM, you could still order food from the hotel restaurant, and the quality here was genuinely high compared to outside options. This morning, the hotel even had a lion dance performance, which added to the festive atmosphere. The hotel manager really pays attention to service details, which is absolutely essential for a great hotel. Having a fresh, high-quality breakfast in the morning is a wonderful start to the day, and you can even swim in the pool after coming back at night. A Grab taxi to Jonker Street is only about 8-10 RM away. It's very quiet at night, with a gentle sea breeze and the pool. It reminded us of beautiful places we'd traveled to before and even brought back memories of my partner's hometown. Because of this, we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for two more nights. Highly recommend everyone to stay here! (The only minor thing to note is that the air conditioning in the rooms can be a bit noisy. Hopefully, they can improve this. It gets quite warm at night, so you need the AC, and it would be great if it didn't blow directly on you.) 1) The room cleanliness and linens were excellent; the towels were tumble-dried, and the sheets were neatly ironed. 2) The staff were warm and friendly. 3) The environment was outstanding, quiet, and beautiful. 4) The breakfast was exquisite and clean. The chicken sausage was the only one with a normal texture among the seven or eight hotels we've stayed at in Malaysia. The à la carte restaurant didn't disappoint either; you could tell the watermelon juice was fresh (many places serve overnight juice). Thank you to the hotel for their dedication, which made our vacation wonderful. If we ever return to Malacca, The Lisbon Malacca will definitely be our top choice."

"room was very spacious, nicely furnished, with amazing views of the entire melaka city and the strait of malacca. the rooftop pool is really nice as well, as it is an infinity pool with shelter also having amazing views so you can go swim even if it’s raining. hotel is in a very good location as well, being close to many food options just downstairs and a 10 minute walk from the main red square melaka river jonker walk area. however, the only issue was the aircon. they did not turn on the aircon in the corridors at all, so it feels very stuffy and warm. we told the staff about it but they seemed to have done nothing about it, seeing all the previous reviews complaining about this as well. the aircon in the room was also very weak, it took hours to cool the entire room down but after a while it was fine. hopefully they can revamp the a/c system because this hotel is really good if not for the a/c issues."

"The hotel looks grand and the room is very spacious and clean. The view is great as I can see the city and sea partially. The bed and pillows are comfortable that helped me to sleep well😴 The staff is very friendly and helpful. Upon check in, the staff will provide you with their specially made cookies which tasted delicious😁 The only problem is that walking to Jonker Street is not convenient and you need to drive or Grab there in a few minutes 😅"

"The room is really big and the facilities are perfect. My friends and I like it very much. There is a small balcony where you can see the sunset. The landlord service is also very good. We have answered all our questions. We will book here next time. 🥰"

"Hygiene: Very good. Facilities: A mix of new and old, it's renovated, but just okay. No conditioner or lotion provided. Service: Since we arrived from Singapore by cruise, we got to the hotel around 9 AM. We dropped off our luggage and went for a walk. It was incredibly hot, so by 12 PM, after sightseeing and eating, we returned to the hotel and asked if we could check in early. They refused... At around 1 PM, our little one really needed a nap, so we asked again and finally got a room. Sigh. Compliant with rules but not very empathetic. The service industry really needs a bit more human touch. The concierge, however, was excellent. Environment: The swimming pool is clean, but it gets direct afternoon sun and closes exactly at 7 PM. Breakfast is good, but if you absolutely need Chinese food, you might consider skipping it and heading to the tea restaurant about 15 meters to the left of the hotel entrance, which is a better option. One side of the hotel faces the sea, and the other faces the Malacca River bay, both are nice views."
