"Absolutely in ❤️ with VIENTO Redhouse Melaka by Rest Collection ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Last minute plan and we booked the biggest room, for 8 adults....We are only family of 4 btw 😉 Once checked in, we're looking forward the floating bathtub and my kids enjoyed the stay to the max 😍 In addition, the TV projector added a whole different experience for our stay 😊 Overall, staffs are very friendly and warmly welcomed us. GGuest UserIt's very close to Jonker Street, just across a bridge. However, I was misled by the photos; I thought there was a public pool when it's actually located within a luxury suite. Still, the shower and toilet were quite convenient, and the overall place was clean.

TTiya TanOverall, this hotel is clean and comfortable. Here's what I liked:
- The room had carpet, but it was clean and odor-free.
- I really liked that the room had plenty of lighting! Usually, most hotels have very dim lighting in the rooms.
- Regarding soundproofing, even though it's by the roadside, I couldn't hear any car or motorcycle noise at all! However, you can hear the vacuum cleaner when housekeeping is cleaning.
- Parking was easy to find.
- The shower pressure was great.
- The air conditioning was cold enough.
I'll definitely be staying here again next time! ✌

GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel in Melaka with my family from 16–18 May 2026 and had a very pleasant experience.
While the property does show some signs of ageing, the excellent customer service more than made up for it.
I would especially like to commend the Front Office Manager, Mr Lim, for his professionalism, attentiveness, and warm hospitality. He thoughtfully arranged connecting rooms for our family as requested, which we greatly appreciated.
The front desk staff were consistently friendly, courteous, and welcoming throughout our stay. It is clear that Mr Lim leads the team well, as the positive service culture at Bayview was evident in every interaction.
I would also like to specially mention Ikmal and Aliff for their friendliness and excellent service. Although I may not remember every staff member who served us, please convey our sincere appreciation to the entire team for making our stay such an enjoyable one.

AAnonymous UserLove this hotel coz is superb convenient,we took coach frm Sengkang to the hotel. The room itself is big nice n clean. Just the service not so happy whem we call.for room servive they answer vry fast but our needs was not fufilled call till 5 was transfer n no one anwer for room service we wamted order some fpod for the kids. Timing was 8.30pm. The nxt day try again was transfer the call n one answer, so total try twice only no amswer we give up.
There is variety of places to eat nearby by to malls and tourist atrraction.

GGuiyanggaigeThe hotel's location is great, within walking distance of Malacca's old town. When I checked in, the Malaysian lady at the front desk collected a 50 RM cash deposit from me (which another front desk staff member refunded when I checked out the next day). Additionally, she charged an extra 28 RM for some unknown fee (Ctrip showed an 8 RM world heritage fee was due). I stayed for two nights, and Ctrip deducted 475.47 RMB upon checkout.
Room 512 faces west, offering an open view of St. Paul's Hill. The room didn't have a safe or slippers, but it did have a refrigerator, toothbrush, hairdryer, wardrobe, and hangers. The air conditioning was central and could be set to a very low temperature.
Upon entering, I accidentally pressed the 'make up room' button next to the door. Later, after I had gone to bed, a staff member rang the doorbell to clean. They were very responsible; I had to get dressed and explain in person that I didn't need the service before they left.

Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.

the ocation was convenient about a 10-15 minute ride to the city centre, which made getting around quite easy.
However, there were several issues during our stay
Cleanliness: We noticed some smallinsects on the floor. While it didn't significantly affect aur stay, it would be better if the rooms could be more thoroughly checked and cleaned.
Customer Service: All communication had to be done online through WhatsApp, as there was no face-to-face front desk service. This was quite unconventional and sometimes made things less convenient when we needed assistance urgently.
Room Equipment: One of the air conditioners in our room kept switching on and off by itself and wasn't functioning properly. Even more concerning, the hairdryer had a short circuit, produced a burning smell, and even sparked flames. This was a frightening experience, and although it was eventually replaced, waiting a full day for such a serious issue was very disappointing.

GGuest UserI wouldn't book the room with no aircon, it was too hot! There is no reception desk that is open so you have to talk to someone on WhatsApp and give your tax etc, this meant there was nowhere secure that we could leave our bags, so I'd bear that in mind.
Location is quite far from centre, not walking distance, however a grab is only cheap (£1/2) to get there.
