"I stayed at 3 hotels all near Flagstaff stations for this trip, just to try something new and compare. Excellent location and the Flagstaff garden is at the opposite. The Pegasus has a real kitchen and utensils since it's an apartment hotel. No view at all but it's ok for a night's stay. The bed is so soft but so as the Radisson and the Jazz hotel so I guess it's the standard?.. Staffs had reasonable service, but I overheard the guest in front of me checked out 30mins later than he should and the staff were not happy about it at all, like teacher talking to a misbehaved student. Overall it's price for money."

Holiday Inn Melbourne Bourke Street Mall is a sleek, modern hotel located in the vibrant heart of Melbourne, a perfect place to celebrate with family, connect with your team or some well-deserved me-time. Our open lobby with welcoming contemporary social spaces lets you find a respite after a busy day working or exploring the buzz of Bourke Street or Little Collins. Just a short walk from major shopping, restaurants and key attractions along with the hotel restaurant, café and bar and in room dining you will always be close to something tasty. Plus, if you’re travelling a family, your kids will love the ‘Kids Eat Free’ menu. At Holiday Inn, children not only enjoy free meals but also stay for free, making your family getaway even more affordable and enjoyable.

"The hotel has an excellent location, right in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, with a bustling commercial district right outside. Various light rail lines (Melbourne doesn't have a metro, it's all trams) pass by. The hotel is clean, the front desk service is acceptable, and the breakfast is decent. The only downside is that it's not a great option for several consecutive nights without changing hotels. The hotel is new, so the facilities are quite modern. The biggest problem is that hotel prices in Melbourne fluctuate daily, and the differences are huge; for example, weekend prices can be more than double Monday prices."

"I'll start with the service, as I felt deeply disappointed and unfairly treated during check-in. It was our birthday on August 20th when we arrived. After mentioning this to the receptionist, not only did we not receive even a simple 'Happy Birthday,' but we were also told to buy our own cake from a shop as the hotel offered no special services or gestures. This level of service is utterly inconsistent with what one would expect from a Crown Hotel and left us extremely disappointed! We provided feedback to the front desk during check-out, and while they offered an apology and champagne, it was too little, too late. A birthday only comes once a year, and we were truly let down. **Facilities:** The hotel feels very new overall. The shower had a handheld showerhead, which is very family-friendly, especially for those with young children (many hotels in Australia don't have these...). The bedding was very comfortable. Disposable toiletries, drinking water, and slippers were provided – a nice touch, as we usually bring our own since many Australian hotels don't offer them. **Cleanliness:** The room was spotless. The bathtub was clean enough for kids to bathe in, which gave us peace of mind. **Location:** The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to dining and transportation. It's located next to a casino, so there's a lot of foot traffic. However, room access requires a key card, so we felt secure."

"I recently stayed at the Mercure Melbourne in the heart of the city, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better—right in the middle of Melbourne, with shops, restaurants, public transport, and major attractions just steps away. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you’d expect from a quality hotel. The bed was cosy, the Wi-Fi was fast, and I loved being able to walk straight out into the buzz of the city. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and professional, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of fresh options, and the dining area was bright and inviting. Overall, Mercure Melbourne is perfect for both business and leisure travellers who want convenience, comfort, and great service in the heart of the city. I would definitely stay here again."

"Got to the hotel early and our room was not available. Sat in the check in area for an hour because we were too tired frombour red eye flight. And the kind staff offered us a free upgrade so we can check into our room earlier. We managed to catch some sleep before heading out. Hotel was clean and location was excellent. The room was spacious, but the arrangement was a bit weird as you can see from the location of the sink. Water pressure was low and a full body mirror would be nice. Overall, good hotel and thank you to the staff who let us check in early."

"Very general hotel, not as good as the Internet said. First of all, the hotel room is very small, no difference from the youth travel. Secondly, all aspects of health are not in place. When we arrived in the room, there was still water in the kettle (water from the last guest). There is no hand sanitizer. Overall, the price is not high, and there are many choices at the same price in the city center."

"The biggest and perhaps the only major problem with this hostel is the noise from within the building. Great noise reduction for outside activities, but the nature of the building is flawed, so the amount of noise you will hear from the common room open corridor which every room faces is very loud. Other than this, it is quite a good hostel, one of the better ones you could stay at. I was in a private room which had some decent amenities, however the pillows were quite lumpy haha. The other guests were quite disrespectful of rules unfortunately, not considering others in the kitchen with cleanliness etc. Staff are 10/10 amazing! I want to take them all home with me 😂"

"The hotel is very unique and has a cozy feel. I booked a riverside room with a view of the Yarra River. The restaurant is great, and if the weather is nice, you can have breakfast by the river. The croissants and coffee in the cafe are excellent. The spa is especially recommended. I had a facial, and for $250, it was very cost-effective. Because I was in a hurry, the spa staff even started my service half an hour early. It felt very appreciated. It was a very good stay and I will go back next time I have the chance."

GGuest UserThis is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins.

LlymaWe had multiple issues with our 7 nights stay. Which some has been addressed and fixed immediately. One thing we do recommend to confirm check upon arrival or when booking. Lack of view - we’ve booked the 1 bedroom premium room. From the pictures it looked like floor to ceiling big windows with open view but we were assigned to a room situated in the heritage floors (2nd) which the windows are 1.5m high so have to tippy toes to see the view. Limited sunlight also, bathroom has no window. Issues we encountered 1) hall way light - wasn’t working on the first night when we checked in at 11pm. We couldn’t even find our room number cause it was so dark, we used the torch on our phone. Wasn’t a nice first impression if you are scared of dark hallways. The sensor was fixed the next day. 2) phone wasn’t working - so we couldn’t contact the front desk. We got in late with a toddler, so we put on ‘do not disturb’ sign but someone banged the door at 8am, to reach us to ‘fix the issues’. Not sure why can’t they just slip us a note under the door. 3) so many flies - the breakfast restaurant have serious pest issues. There were more than 10 flies flying around the buffet and the tables. We didn’t feel comfortable eating there after one visit. The whole duration of the meal, we were waiving off the fly. Major hygiene concern! 4) housekeeping was very average, barely cleaned the room daily. Only made the bed. 5) overall the staff were all friendly, special appreciation to the male staff at the breakfast room. The lady duty manager didn’t seem friendly, carries an attitude and likes to talk over you. Location is great, round the corner from the tram line. Will I stay again, most likely not. Feels more like a 4 star hotel, definitely not 5 star.

MM39565****The hotel's location is excellent, very close to all sorts of food and shopping. However, the facilities are quite old. PPugongyingdezhongziThe hotel is conveniently located right next to the T4 terminal parking lot. What's really thoughtful is the shuttle bus service (every twenty minutes, inquire at the front desk upon check-in) that takes you directly to the international departure gate at T2, which is super convenient. The hotel also has an Italian restaurant, and meals ordered are delivered to your room within 30 to 40 minutes. The room amenities are quite new and comfortable. It's perfectly suited for those catching early morning flights. The hotel service is good; the front desk staff, a very nice young lady, proactively provided information about the shuttle bus and recommended suitable timings. Two things to note: 1. Novotel and Ibis are in the same building, with separate front desks at opposite ends, so make sure you line up at the correct one; 2. The shuttle bus needs to be booked in advance, as they check names before boarding, and you might not get on without a reservation.

GGuest UserThe hotel offers a convenient location with parking available right outside, making it easy for picking up guests. Rooms are generally quiet. Breakfast is provided; it offers good value if it's included in your Ctrip booking without an extra charge, otherwise, it's not worth the additional cost. It's a simple Western breakfast, and the menu doesn't change daily. While the hotel itself is reasonably clean, housekeeping standards are only average. On my first morning, there was no hot water in the bathroom; I had to run the tap for almost half an hour just to get a lukewarm shower. However, after I emailed them, the hot water issue was resolved for the remainder of my stay. Housekeeping repeatedly missed replenishing coffee, provided too few towels, and sometimes even forgot to put on pillowcases. Standard rooms are randomly assigned a queen-sized bed or twin beds. The bed was quite wobbly when turning over. The bathroom features only glass partitions, offering no light isolation or privacy. If you accidentally switch on the main light while using the toilet, you are completely exposed. It's an acceptable stay, but for the same price, you might find better options elsewhere.

LLawIt is close to the airport, and the hotel shuttle can be reserved to the airport as early as 06:00. There is no convenience store within walking distance, so you have to drive for about ten minutes to reach the shops and restaurants. Fortunately, residents can enjoy discounted parking. There are not many breakfast options, but it is sufficient, but there are few seats. The room space is sufficient and comfortable, and the sanitary conditions are ideal. However, the hotel does not have swimming pools and other recreational facilities, which is more convenient for passengers in transit or for short stays.

VVSingLocation: The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nights were serene with barely any car noise. It’s about a 10-minute drive to a nearby mall with Coles, Kmart, and other essentials—super convenient. For travelers, it’s around 40 minutes from the airport, which is manageable. Cleanliness: This was a mixed bag. Upon entering, we noticed a burnt iron mark and several purple stains on the carpet. We made sure to report these to reception immediately due to the $300 AUD bond fee, to avoid being held responsible. Being close to a lake or river meant encountering mosquitoes and some large flies. We also found spiders in the bathroom, but we managed to catch and release them outdoors. Towels provided were an issue—one was dirty when we checked in, and even the replacement towel the next day had stains. However, the beds were spotless, which was a relief. Service: The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They explained all the amenities, including the location of the gym and pool, and handled our late checkout request graciously. Facilities: Although I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, the in-room facilities stood out. The smart TV was a bonus, with access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video, ensuring entertainment for the family. Room: The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bedrooms flanking a central living room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, complete with an exhaust fan to keep the heat out. The beds were the highlight—so soft and comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep. Overall: While the initial issues with bugs were unpleasant (I dislike insects), once we cleared them out, the stay became very enjoyable. The spacious layout, serene environment, and cozy beds made it a pleasant experience overall.
