Brussels Hotels with Bars

"Reasonable hotel to stay in. The room is small just nice to fit 2 single beds. There's a writing table and chair for writing and working. The room looks quite old with old carpet and furniture but still functional. The bed is is small but comfortable. The toilet is small with basic soap and shampoo provided. The hotel is very near to the tourist attractions like the peeing boy statute, chocolate shops and souvenir shops all along the street. Lot's of food places and snacks like crepe and churros. Halal food is also easily available."

"I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, clean, and very reasonably priced for Belgium. I stayed in a single room and expected it to be small, but it was surprisingly spacious, with a kettle and a private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and very affordable compared to other hotels. I’m truly grateful to the staff and owners for their kindness and excellent service!"

"The hotel is only a 2-minute walk from the train station and a 3-minute walk from the Grand Place, making the location extremely convenient. The staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming, from top to bottom. The decor is a clean and comfortable modern European style. Breakfast was good, with a decent variety, though not entirely to our taste. Overall, I recommend this hotel."

"It was alright, pretty standard. It's quite close to the station, and the supermarket behind the hotel has incredibly cheap prices, which was a pleasant surprise! As for the hotel itself, well, it's missing a lot of basic amenities. No slippers, no toothbrush or comb, no kettle, no cups. I can somewhat understand not having a toothbrush, comb, or kettle, since it's Europe after all, but no slippers or cups? That's just unacceptable. Check-in involves doing it online first, then picking up your room key from the front desk. And a 10 AM check-out time is just unreasonable. They say it's new in 2025, but it feels more like a renovation."

"This hotel has a European feel and isn't very large, with just under 60 rooms on four floors, including the ground floor. The staff were all very friendly and polite, offering a friendly hello upon arrival. They even offered to help us as we were carrying our luggage up the stairs. The interior decor is retro, with high ceilings of approximately 5 meters. The rooms are luxurious, and the TVs support simplified Chinese. The only drawback is that the bathroom shower area lacks a door, causing water to splash outside when showering. I'd recommend this improvement. The Iris room I booked was essentially an upgrade from the basic room. The room type and size were the same, just a floor upgrade away from the ground floor. The soundproofing was average, and the noise from motorcycles and cars on the road was quite loud at night. Also: Perhaps I've been spoiled by the service at other hotels. When checking in, I told the front desk clerk that it was my wife's birthday, but they didn't offer any further information, nor did they upgrade my room or provide a small cake. This was understandable and not a major drawback."

"The interior design of the hotel features a mid-century style. Both the public areas and the guest rooms are very clean and well maintained—credit to the housekeeping team for their excellent work. However, the front desk service needs significant improvement. Upon arrival, there seemed to be an issue with the front desk computer system. The only staff member on duty was clearly aware that guests were waiting to check in, yet she did not even look up. Instead, she kept her head down and muttered to herself for a full five minutes without acknowledging anyone. At check-out today, I asked another front desk staff member for a receipt (or any document confirming that the room charges had been fully settled). Her attitude was extremely rude, and she bluntly told me that they had no right to provide such a document, not even by email. I would simply like to say to this front desk lady: please do not treat guests like they are ignorant. After I firmly explained that I needed proof of the deposit refund, she finally and reluctantly printed the document for me. The front desk staff at the Hilton Brussels clearly require better training. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in Europe—even at high-end hotels, service staff are often poorly trained. 酒店內部裝潢是mid century風格，公共空間跟客房環境都相當整潔乾淨，給清潔團隊一個讚！但櫃檯人員就有待加強。抵達入住時櫃檯電腦似乎出問題，櫃檯唯一的一個服務人員知道旅客們在等入住，連看旅客都不看一眼，就低著頭自顧自一直碎碎念長達五分鐘。今天退房時請另外一位櫃檯的人員給我一張收據（我有註明或是其他證明房間款項結清的文件都可以），人員態度非常差的跟我說：我們沒有權利給你這份文件，連用電子郵件寄送也不行。只想跟櫃檯這位小姐說不要把客人當**好嗎？後來我又據理力爭說那我需要押金的取消證明，她才勉勉強強印出來給我。布魯塞爾希爾頓酒店的櫃檯人員訓練有待加強，但這好像是歐洲通病，歐洲就算是高檔酒店的服務人員都欠訓練。"

"From the hotel it's only a small walk to the centre of Brussels, and explore the most famous sightseeing places. I had a great stay at Yadoya, the people working there were very friendly. The room was clean and had an airco, which was amazing in the hot summer days."

"Zoom is just a tiny bit off the main streets, with a great location near Louiza, Stephanie, and on the 71 bus. I don't know what it is that I find so charming about the place, but I think it's just that it's nice and small, with spacious rooms. It's simple and comfortable, and the staff make it feel easy-going. I've stayed there before and I will stay there again."

"I booked a room on Trip.com and requested a 'fireworks view' in the comments, if possible. I received the booking confirmation → OK. To ensure I got the right room, I went to the hotel's website to chat and confirm the view. I had to pay an additional €34 to get this view. WHY? The requested room was in the same category and was already more expensive that day (Dec 31). At that point, I really felt like I was dealing with a low-cost airline. I'm the sucker! Upon arriving at the hotel, we received the key and went to our room… on the 3rd floor… with absolutely no fireworks view. We went back down to the reception, and our room was changed to 1205. Upon entering the room, it was very cold, and we were genuinely surprised by the noise coming from the boulevard → a nasty surprise, we'll need earplugs. After dinner, we returned to the room at 11:30 PM and heard music coming from outside?? We realized there must be a party somewhere. We didn't sleep until 7 AM when the music finally stopped. What a nightmare. Once we left, we realized there was indeed a nightclub right next door, and we were hearing their music. I spent €400, had a VERY bad experience that I will share with my friends, and will probably never return — which is a shame, because the last time we came, we had a good experience. I hope this is helpful. Positive points: the cocktails and breakfast are very good, and the rooms are small but comfortable."
