According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"We took a room with a large bed and a children's room, but there were three adults, I calmly lay down on this bed with a height of 177, which was nice. The room is really like in the picture, plus a huge private terrace and a balcony with a beautiful view added impressions, because on this whole floor was only our room and the same on the other side. But of course the best thing about this hotel is the animals, they are incredible, they don't live like in a circus in a cage, they walk. Breakfast with giraffes is really incredible, but not only they are beautiful there, I strongly advise you to study the map and go to the rest of the animals, we were most impressed by ostriches, meerkats and raccoons. About the service, some staff in the hotel spoke English, which is very unusual for China. We had some difficulties with the room, but they helped us solve the problem, cheered us up with some gifts and we were able to enjoy this hotel. We also additionally asked to clean the room, after that everything really became clean. I recommend, the impressions of the animals and the rooms were incredible!"

Hotel near Taihu National Tourism Resort/Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise,Huzhou
The hotel is located in the Taihu Lake Tourist Resort, covering an area of approximately 6,000 square meters. It is designed by the internationally renowned architect Mr. Jin Wenbin, showcasing a design sense that highlights the beauty of wabi-sabi Zen. The overall style continues the architectural characteristics of Huzhou's local buildings, but incorporates intangible cultural heritage elements such as antique furniture, bricks and stones, and carved mortise and tenon joints. At the same time, elements like "water, bamboo, brush, tea, and silk" are integrated. Most of the old items were collected after visiting ancient villages. The hotel advocates simplifying complexity. Therefore, it abandons the cumbersome aspects of traditional hotels and combines many spaces to create a leisurely, relaxing, and elegant lifestyle. With the curling smoke of sandalwood, the refreshing aroma of tea, and soothing and healing light music, guests can feel inner peace, relaxation, and joy. The average room area is 40 square meters. The main featured room type is made of imported hinoki wood, which has the reputation of "Oriental Divine Wood". Regularly taking a bath in a hinoki wooden bathtub is beneficial to physical and mental health. There are also tatami-equipped room types suitable for parent-child families. The public areas are equipped with an all-day restaurant, a lobby bar, a coffee bar, a bookstore and tea room, a mahjong room, a gym, a laundry room, and a leisure complex that supports conferences, bars, and film screenings.

"We love this one year new hotel. The design is elegant, modern and functional. The lobby area has a number of areas for guests to relax on. The service offered by the staff is absolutely of a high standard, we were being treated tea each time we were in the lobby lounge. Anyway, from the outside entrance to the room, we are very impressed. The design and quality of the room furnishings to the support offered by people and robot is just excellent. We also made a trip to the beautiful Mogan Mountain. Based on value, design and comfort, we will rate this hotel the best out of all our hotels booked through Trip.com totalling 26 weeks of travel in the last 2 years."

"Location: The hotel is right next to Yishang Street and the city moat, offering picturesque waterside views from the window. Despite being in a bustling area, it provides a quiet escape. Yishang Street, Xiaoxi Street, Zhuangyuan Street, and other historical and cultural attractions in Huzhou are all within walking distance. Within 500 meters, there are bus stops with routes to Nanxun Ancient Town, Moon Bay, and the high-speed train station, making it very convenient for leisurely self-guided tours. Facilities: The guest rooms are only on two floors, and there's no elevator, restaurant, or robot service. However, food delivery can be brought directly to your room. The room itself is very spacious, and apart from the landline phone and smart assistant which were more for show than function, everything else was satisfactory. The shower had excellent water pressure and hot water, making for a very comfortable shower. Cleanliness: The room's cleanliness was acceptable, unless you're a germaphobe. On the first day, I did find some hair on surfaces like the table. Since I brought my own complete set of disposable toiletries, it was manageable for me. Service: Both the front desk lady and the cleaning staff were excellent. Bottled water and toiletries were plentiful. If you inform them not to clean, they absolutely will not enter your room without permission. This is a pet-friendly hotel, making it ideal for those traveling with pets or on independent trips. I was very satisfied with this hotel during my Huzhou trip; it was convenient, quiet, and pleasant."

The butler was available on WeChat throughout our stay, always responsive to our questions. The front desk service was excellent; they even gave game tokens to our child while we waited for our room, which made them very happy. She patiently mapped out a walking route for me and recommended affordable local eateries that locals frequent, instead of pushing trendy, overpriced spots. Check-in was super fast, and she proactively told me about breakfast and parking. Her whole demeanor was gentle and patient, never dismissive or perfunctory. This thoughtful welcome alone significantly improved my entire stay."

"## Review **Location:** The location is super convenient! It's just inside the South Gate entrance of Nanxun Ancient Town, and you can even drive right in, which is a huge plus. **Service:** Our butler proactively added me on WeChat and sent over a check-in guide, explaining how to find the hotel entrance. Honestly, there were signs once we walked in anyway. We booked a pre-sale package that included a dinner and a Hanfu experience, and the butler helped us arrange both. When I messaged asking for more bottled water in the room, it was delivered very quickly. The service was really thoughtful. **Facilities:** The common areas are definitely worth praising! There's a tea table and a tatami area for tea, and the small courtyard has little tables and stools, perfect for taking photos in Hanfu. We actually took a lot of pictures in our Hanfu right there at the hotel before heading out. Our room also had a small tea table and tray, and the package included some tea snacks. The view from the window was lovely too, making for a very relaxing tea-drinking experience. Breakfast was a bowl of 'double topping' noodles, a local Nanxun specialty, and both the fish and meat were cooked perfectly. **Hygiene:** The room was very clean, and they even provided disposable toilet seat covers. Given that the ancient town is by the river, they had mosquito coils plugged in, and we didn't encounter any mosquitoes, so we slept very comfortably."

"Facilities: Newly opened in 2025, the decoration is very new, all use brand bathrooms, Hansgrohe. The bed is very wide and is a twin bed of 1.5 meters. The three washing and three baking in the laundry room is very powerful, and it is very convenient to check the progress remotely. Service: Xiao Zhu at the front desk saw that we had upgraded the room type with the baby intimately, and we could still see the side of Renhuang Mountain. The scenery was very beautiful. The breakfast is also very good and the dishes are quite rich. Have the opportunity to stay again next time."

"You can park right in front of the hotel, and you can even ask them to reserve a parking spot for you in advance. Its location is to the north of the ancient town, which makes it super convenient for exploring. Every single staff member was incredibly warm and attentive! My experience was absolutely fantastic! We booked a twin room, which was located at the very back of the courtyard, so the overall environment was really quiet. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, a smart toilet, and even a small tea room. For breakfast, you could choose one main dish from three options; both the double-topping noodles and the mini wontons were delicious. Other small pastries were served one per person. To top it all off, they even gave us a small gift when we checked out—a local specialty called Dingsheng cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everyone should definitely experience this guesthouse!"

Anji Su'in Designer Private Soup Hot Spring Beauty Stay

The room design was great, and both the elderly and children loved it. They even thoughtfully provided eye masks. The room had a smart smart control system and underfloor heating. Both the indoor and outdoor views were fantastic, especially the hot spring in the bamboo forest. The service was excellent; they responded immediately to every request, even late at night – thank you so much to the young man! Initially, the guesthouse had stopped providing underfloor heating for the first few days of our stay because it was getting warmer, but on the day we arrived, it got a bit cold, and my child liked to walk on the floor without slippers. The owner kindly turned the heating back on – thank you! We had dinner at the guesthouse: chicken soup, braised bamboo shoots, and braised catfish. The auntie cooked it very well; my elders still rave about it afterward, haha. Breakfast was rather home-style, but the auntie's soft-boiled eggs were delicious, and the young man's hand-drip coffee was also very good. One small suggestion: could the guesthouse consider allowing guests to choose between regular towels and disposable towels in the future? My child only made this suggestion about the towels, haha. Also, it would be even better if there was an absorbent mat in the bathroom. Overall, it's good, pet-friendly, and I recommend it.

Our two-day 'retreat' with my mom and grandma has come to a perfect end! A big thank you to our butler, Xiao Liu, for the thoughtful arrangements. He upgraded our rooms and every meal was delicious. The elders in my family are always so happy when they're in a natural, mountain setting. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed – we didn't have to prepare a thing. Plus, there were charging stations for our electric car, so all we had to do was relax. We'll definitely be back!

Travelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed! We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving. One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home. Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

Our family's first summer trip – Naked Stables. Our little one rushed to Moganshan right after school, still in her uniform! Even though it was the rainy season, it had its own unique charm. **Environment:** Secluded and tranquil, with various standalone round houses or villas nestled in the valley. The landscape design ensures excellent privacy. There are also plenty of activities, making it a great place for a holiday! **Facilities:** The in-room amenities are all excellent, and the minibar is well-stocked. Even the chargeable snacks are delicious! On rainy days, it's perfect for enjoying tea and snacks in the room. However, the bathroom in the round house felt a bit small, and the shower facilities were located on the balcony, which was inconvenient to use on rainy evenings. My elderly parents had no choice but to use the bathtub, which was quite inconvenient. Later, we discovered the water heater wasn't working. The butler responded quickly, but it took an hour to fix the hardware, and still no hot water. The duty manager then proactively and very thoughtfully came to check on us and kindly moved us to another room where we could finally enjoy a comfortable hot shower. **Service:** The butler service contacted us by phone before check-in to pre-register our license plate, allowing for seamless entry without stopping. The hotel also offers a wide range of entertainment programs for both adults and children. Our child loved it, quietly enjoying handicraft activities and horseback riding. Our little girl especially adored it and rode for half an hour each day during our two-day stay. **Exquisite Naked Stables Souvenirs:** The cups are commemorative, and each room area is named after an animal. The various merchandise sold in the lobby is also very appealing and meaningful; we bought some to take home! **Restaurants:** There's an Italian Western restaurant and a Chinese restaurant, both with good food. The set menus at the Western restaurant were decent, and à la carte options weren't expensive.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, with a traditional Huizhou architectural style featuring white walls and black tiles. It's surrounded by rolling mountains and vibrant, layered foliage. We booked a mountain view room for two nights. Check-in was supposed to be at 3 PM, but it was a bit of a hassle. After several discussions, we finally got checked in at 4 PM. The room itself was quite spacious, and the hardware facilities were well-maintained, though they did show some age. Housekeeping was excellent, and they even offered turn-down service, including two small turn-down gifts. We dined at the Baiyun Hall, which was generally good, but our noodle order was initially incorrect and had to be re-made. Breakfast in the ground floor restaurant was of good quality and offered a wide variety of options. The hotel's recreational facilities, however, need some maintenance. The karaoke room, in particular, looked like it hadn't been used in a long time. Overall, the staff were good, and our butler, Summer Shen, provided excellent service.

This guesthouse has so much character! The owner clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the design. The massive, floor-to-ceiling bookshelf instantly brings a sense of calm, which is especially welcome on a hot summer day. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, browse books, read, or simply have a moment of quiet reflection. Oh, and the owner even gave me a complimentary room upgrade, which was incredibly comfortable.

We stayed for one night with our parents and kids, and it was a fantastic experience! The butler, Crystal, created a group chat beforehand to confirm our arrival time and asked about the guests, recommending suitable floors and rooms – very thoughtful. The cliff-side room offers absolutely stunning views. At night, after Deqing city lights dim, you can stargaze. I initially thought the castle restaurant would be expensive, but after eating there, I found it to be excellent value for money. Although we had to wait a little, all the dishes were freshly prepared and of a very high standard, far surpassing any restaurant in the village at the foot of the mountain. For entertainment, there's an infinity pool, billiards, ping-pong, pottery, archery, and more. It's not crowded, so you can enjoy everything. For pottery, you need to queue early; we missed out at 10 AM. Friends told me the spa is also top-notch, so I'll try it next time. Finally, I have to mention the photoshoot. Each room gets three complimentary photos. The photographer was incredibly patient, and the photo editor was kind and beautiful. There was absolutely no hard-selling. I initially thought of buying a few extra photos, but then I was told that since we had three rooms, we could get nine photos! The photography, composition, and editing were simply superb. I also want to thank Crystal and Lily again for their patience and understanding. It was hot, which can be stressful, and we encountered a few minor issues. After effective communication, the cause was quickly identified and resolved efficiently. **Facilities:** The cliff-side room is fully equipped, and the pastoral cabin offers good value for money. **Hygiene:** Clean and tidy. There were some small insects in the castle during the evening. **Environment:** Absolutely stunning. **Service:** Probably the best service I've ever experienced in a hotel. **On-site travel photoshoot:** I've already reviewed it above. All I can say is it's worth the money. If it wasn't so hot, I would have done a whole session!

Anji Treasure Island Nautical Resort — A Hidden Maritime Dream Among Mountains, Lakes and Tropical Gardens Stayed: 19–20 June This is not just a hotel — it is a revelation. A true hidden gem in Anji, the Anji Treasure Island Nautical Resort feels like stepping aboard a luxury liner that has quietly anchored itself in a world of bamboo forests and still, reflective waters. The entire resort is designed in the unmistakable shape and spirit of a ship, complete with maritime detailing, porthole-style windows, brass accents, and cabin-inspired interiors that make every room feel like a private suite at sea. From the moment you arrive, you are surrounded by tropical-style gardens and serene lagoons where ducks glide across the water and fish move like living brushstrokes beneath the surface. It is calm, immersive, and almost dreamlike. The service is simply outstanding — attentive, warm, and effortless. Nothing feels forced; everything feels considered. Breakfast is sumptuous and generous, with a spread that feels worthy of a grand voyage rather than a countryside resort. Every detail is elevated. The rooms are extraordinary — sleeping here genuinely feels like being inside a luxury cabin on an ocean liner, yet with the comfort, silence, and space of a high-end retreat. What makes this place unforgettable is its setting: tranquil and secluded, yet perfectly positioned to explore everything Anji has to offer. You feel away from the world, but never far from it. To stay here is to experience something rare — a place that doesn’t try to impress, yet quietly outshines everything around it. Many nearby hotels feel conventional by comparison; this one feels imagined, designed, and delivered with vision. 11/10 – beyond expectations, beyond category. A destination I would not just recommend, but insist on. Without question, one of my top travel discoveries for 2026. As we sat outside on the man-made beach overlooking the beautiful pond, framed by rolling mountains, a golf buggy passed by. The driver, Ben, stopped and kindly asked if we would like to take a ride around the hotel grounds. What followed was unforgettable. We set off together and immediately began to ascend into the mountain areas, where the landscape opened up into something extraordinary. We were surrounded by peach trees, olive trees, and endless tea plantations stretching across the hillsides. The scenery felt untouched and alive. Stunning waterfalls cascaded down rock faces, and wildlife was everywhere — fish moving through clear waters, turtles basking quietly, geese and ducks gliding freely across ponds and streams. It felt like a living ecosystem woven seamlessly into the resort itself. At the peak, we reached the most incredible lookout observatory and restaurant, offering panoramic views over Anji and far beyond. The vistas were vast and layered, mountains fading into the distance under a calm, open sky. To top it all off, there is even a zip line (rip cord) for those brave enough to ascend and descend in style — an exhilarating contrast to the serenity below. Throughout it all, Ben’s kindness, warmth, and care were extraordinary, and perfectly matched the beauty of the experience. His generosity of spirit elevated the entire journey. A stay that moves from ship-like luxury, to lakeside tranquillity, to mountain adventure — all within a single, seamless experience. Simply unforgettable.

If you don't want to just stay home on the weekend but are looking for a different way to relax, Xiangyue Lake is an absolute gem. It's not just about the cabins; it's a huge outdoor sports paradise. My friends and I primarily came for the outdoor activities, and the experience was fantastic! We did archery and played frisbee on the large lawn at Fei Camp, and in the afternoon, we went kayaking and rode a swan boat on the lake. The breeze on the lake in the evening was incredibly refreshing. There's even a professional horse riding facility in the park, with new equipment and a large arena, giving us a real 'Wild West' experience. I heard there are also dedicated forest trails for hiking, but we ran out of time this trip. I'll save that for next time!

My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep. However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.
