Bintan Hotels with Gym

Had a wonderful stay! They have a free shuttle service to and fro BBT ferry terminal, checking was also straight forward and the room/hotel was soooooo beautiful. Side facing the pool gets afternoon sun, direct access to the beach. They were also quite full for the breakfast buffet, but instead of making u wait, the opened up the meeting rooms and set up a second buffet line, excellent use of space and planning! You can also walk to the nearby local resturant/ice cream place, the ”shopping plaza” is quite dead but got when u want to take a walk. Also can walk to the lake/reservoir, nice to stroll when the sun is not so hot, it's very beautiful too

Absolutely loved my stay at the Holiday Inn Resort! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Check-in was quick and smooth. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed—plus, the bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the little touches like complimentary bottled water, fresh towels, and a cozy robe and slippers. The hotel’s location is perfect and within walking distance of great shops and restaurants. The on-site restaurant served some of the best meals I’ve had on vacation, and the breakfast spread each morning was top-notch. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know!

Super heartwarming, friendly and professional service! Love our stay at Hotel Indigo Bintan! Each and every staff truly went the extra mile to ensure that we were very well taken care of. I appreciated the high levels of care, starting from the exclusive waiting lounge at the Bintan ferry terminal, the complimentary BYD car transfers to and fro the hotel from the ferry terminal, the sheltered buggy rides all around the resort to ensure that we will stay dry in the monsoon rainy weather, the delicious and lovingly prepared semi-buffet breakfasts with ala carte options for main courses prepared upon order, the beautifully decorated and spacious rooms, the complimentary activities everyday to keep guests entertained etc. Most of all, all service staff are always greeting us with bright smiles throughout our stay! Hope to come back to visit again soon!

Overall, it's clean, has running hot water, and the food is OK. But once you factor the price into it all, it really isn't worth it. What's interesting about the hotel is that it's on a property shared by 3 hotels at different price points. This includes the restaurants and the beach. Only 6 sun umbrella covered lounges on the beach itself, so there are not enough seats for those wanting to hang out during the day. The restaurants were also super busy as a result, leading to less than average service and waiters running between the bar and kitchen. The breakfast location is shared by 2 hotels, and if I was staying at the more expensive one, I'd be pretty annoyed. We stayed over a public holiday weekend and had to wait 15 minutes for a table because it was so busy. The gym is not worth writing about (but you do get free fruit). What I will say is the staff are trained to always greet you with a smile. Even after you've made a complaint about waiting so long for your breakfast! If you have a long weekend to spare, go to Thailand.

Service was very good upon arrival, during the stay and upon check-out, staff were nice and friendly. Booked a beachfront pool villa, so i was surprised that there is no beach for us to walk, hence was disappointed considering the price we paid for. My mood turns better with the sunny day and the great wind blowing towards out villa. no bicycles were available during our stay as they were all taken up, hence we didn't walk around the resort as our villa was one of the furthest. will need to request buggy service whenever we wanted to go somewhere. To those who wishes to try their spa, the therapist and the massage room are nice. Please remember to book in advance before you reach, i wanted to massage for 2 days but only managed to get a 2hr slot for 1 of the days even though i book in 2 days advance. Breakfast was okay, but the dinner buffet that day was a Grill buffet at the beach which costs us around SGD100 per pax. The food spread and taste was not worth the price, hence we spend the rest of the meals with the in-villa dining which taste better. There are free traditional dance performance and delicous dessert for us for celebration of Hari Raya, greatly appreciated for the effort.

The hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish. Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner. However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top. In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

1. good encironments and the facilities are not new but acceptable. 2. The most pity stuffs are Monopoly by the owner even the excuse is away from reasonable (private resorts) - no access to public taxi service say grab. Again the reason we told is the Nirwana resort is private one - due to the monopoly, there is limited restaurants for options: the one for breakfast (level 1). The one above the one for buffet (level 2) and Kelong restuarant facing the sea - the outstanding outcome from the monopoly is the pretty higher price for foods...I expect to have lunch at Kelong restaurant and in the end back after checking out the price in menu. Actually during the lunch time, there is no people having dinner except 1 or 2 guest to check out the good view facing the sea...pity !!! The postiive goes to some entertainment or activotoes in the hotel say swimming in outdoort pool. Sands and Bowling etc..... My proposal for their management is to open the service to guests in their hotel so there is more options even I will never come back to the hotel in Bintan...I has been to Batam before and the experience is better.... As a first time solo traveler, I would say I did not have anything planned the moment I reached the resort. But my goal for this trip was mainly a getaway from everyday city life and it did reach my purpose. There are activities that can be in and around the resort. First time tried kayaking and archery. All the staffs were super friendly. From reception, activities, restaurant staff until check out. I went during an off peak season, so even passing by a staff at the lobby of the Lotus Cafe, I was shocked that I was greeted by the staff with my name.

Totally a brand new experience as you are staying in the actual ship's cabin.. the hotel crew arranged a tour within the ships to various compartments , we had a chance to visit the engine room the upper deck and many others rooms that are usually restricted for passengers in a sailing ship. The history of the ship was very well explained by the Hotel Crew.. The foods served are delicious too. Overall it's a nice hide-out from a hustle and bustle city life

The resort located outside of Bintan Resort, and it takes 40 mins to get there by cab which needs to be booked at the ferry terminal. That aside, it was all worth it as the resort was really private and most importantly the service was top. specifically would like to highlight Fazli and Deden that were extremely helpful and cheerful. They never failed to attend to our queries promptly and went beyond what was expected. Thanks once again for the great experience!
