"The family room was much bigger than I expected, completely different from other hotels where they just cram two beds into one room. It felt like it used to be a suite that was converted, with two connecting rooms each having a large bed. This is perfect for families traveling with older children, as everyone gets their own space. Both rooms were very spacious, the overall decor felt quite high-end, and the cleanliness was also good. What was particularly thoughtful was that all the duvets were summer quilts – I've put up with thick duvets in other hotels for so long, so it's very considerate that this hotel thought of that. The only slight downside was that the room was at the very end of the hallway, and the hotel's layout is a bit odd; it takes a while to walk from the elevator, and dragging luggage along that path was a bit difficult. A nice touch, though, was that the hallway featured many small display cases showcasing Linfen's local culture, history, and intangible cultural heritage. This was great and made the long walk down the corridor less boring. The mini-bar in the room offered complimentary drinks, and breakfast was decent – enough to fill you up, and the local beef meatball noodles were good. Parking was convenient with an underground garage right next door. They also have a gym and a laundry room, so the facilities are good, and you can even order coffee on the first floor. The only minor issue was that the floor drain in the bathroom seemed to have a bit of an odor when we first entered, but flushing water down it fixed it right up. Hopefully, they can address that."

The moment you push open the heavy wooden door, the city's hustle and bustle are shut out. It's a genuine old house, not some 'faux-ancient' style. 🛏️ The stay was more comfortable than I expected. The room was spacious, antique in style, but not at all dark. ✔ Underfloor heating + central air conditioning throughout, so no fear of the cold in winter. ✔ Turn on the projector and binge-watching shows in bed at night was incredibly satisfying 📽️. ✔ Welcome fruit, tea, coffee, cocktails 🍹, and afternoon tea 🫖 were all prepared. ✔ 24-hour butler service, always responsive. ✔ Takeout can be delivered directly to the room – super friendly for lazy people. 🥟 The attention to detail was a real bonus. On the Winter Solstice, I actually got to eat dumplings handmade by the hotel, and I suddenly felt 'cared for'. The breakfast menu changes daily, so you don't get tired of it. 💆♀️ This was a truly relaxing, 'lie-flat' vacation. This time, I also tried the newly introduced sound bowl healing at the hotel, which made me so relaxed I didn't want to talk throughout the session. Even if I didn't leave all day, just soaking up the sun, reading, and daydreaming in the courtyard felt completely worth it. 📸 Every corner is picture-perfect. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly from start to finish (I was seriously surprised, especially the receptionist who called to confirm the pick-up service from Linfen West, the driver who came to pick me up, and the two lovely ladies at the front desk; talking to them on the phone made me feel much better). The room was more pleasant than the picture I saw when I booked it. It was spacious and bright, cleaned up, and even the window sills were clean. The bedding is the kind of comfortable with a faint smell of sunshine, the mattress is moderately soft and hard, and the pillows have two heights to choose from. People like me who are sensitive to the cervical spine actually sleep until dawn. My companion said that ”sleep more than home” ～ The bathroom is dry and wet separation is in place, the hot water comes quickly and steadily, and the water pressure is particularly comfortable on the body. The toiletries have a little local forsythia. I heard that the raw materials are local in Linyi. I couldn't help but ask the front desk when I used them up. The young lady also smiled and said, ”If you like it, you can take two small sets.” This generous is really too circled. Breakfast must be emphasized! Not only buns, millet porridge, these are home-cooked early, but there are also Linyi's special Fushan roast wheat and Hongdong steamed rice. The freshly made sheep soup is steaming, sprinkled with onions and spicy seeds, and the local colleagues say ”more authentic than many old brands”. The waiter aunt is very diligent, and she will collect the empty plate immediately when she sees it. She will also take the initiative to ask ”Do you want to add a bowl of porridge?” As kind as eating at home. I feel that the price/performance ratio is really too high. This price can have such a location, service and special experience, which is really worth it! When we checked out, the front desk also specially reminded us to bring our belongings, saying ”Next time I come to Linyi, I will stay here, call you in advance to reserve a room”.
