There is also the Iron Buddha Temple nearby, you can go and admire it, it's very shocking. The lobby is clean and sanitary, and the guy at the front desk is very service-minded and takes the initiative to open the door for guests. When I was leaving, a beautiful lady asked me if I had entered the license plate number, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast is very good, recommended. As for winter hot drinks and children's toys, I didn't see any. It is recommended to remove it from the featured items."

"The room is fully equipped and convenient to use, and the hygiene is also very clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly and responsive. We stayed in room 710, which was very big and comfortable. The only drawback is that after staying there for 2 days, the room smelled of cooking fumes starting from 5 or 6 in the morning. Fortunately, there was an air purifier in the room. Stepping into the lobby, the vintage 'Maillard' colored walls, the European-style fireplace area, and the walls lined with books instantly transported me into an artistic space, making the fatigue of my long travels disappear. When checking in, the front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic. Not only did they quickly process my check-in, but they also thoughtfully introduced the hotel facilities and interesting places nearby. Their service truly warmed my heart!
Entering the room, the solid wood furniture paired with a Zinus mattress and star-rated bedding made lying down feel like being gently enveloped by clouds – pure comfort. The room also thoughtfully provided a coffee corner, and the aroma of pour-over coffee filled the air, allowing me to enjoy a moment of peace and tranquility even in this unfamiliar city.
The hotel's public areas are also fantastic. The 24-hour café, with its rich coffee aroma, is perfect whether you want to start your morning full of energy or relax in the evening with a cup of coffee. In my free time, I enjoyed picking out a favorite book in the book bar and immersing myself in a sea of knowledge; time just seemed to slow down.

Facilities: Relatively new, but a heated toilet is unnecessary in the summer.
Cleanliness: Cleanliness was good when I checked in. After a day out, they cleaned the room, but the towels and shower mats hadn't been changed, which was strange.

Environment: Excellent It's not easy to find a hotel like this in Hongtong. The room facilities and service are all excellent. The location is in the center of the county, next to Lianhua City, with convenient parking and snacks downstairs late at night. It's also very close to the Big Locust Tree Scenic Area. Especially the underfloor heating – it's so hot you still need to turn on the air conditioning, which is ridiculous. Why isn't my house this warm? Highly recommended hotel.

She greets you warmly as soon as you enter the door, and solves any problems in a timely manner and is very patient. There is plenty of mineral water, and a robot will deliver it to the room when needed, which is convenient and fast. The front desk also prepared snacks and hot tea, which added a touch of warmth to the cold winter. Well, the front desk also had a full range of disposable supplies. Arriving at 8 PM, exhausted from my journey, I expected a routine check-in, but the staff greeted me with smiles throughout. They quickly verified my information and processed my check-in, proactively offering warm lemon water and patiently explaining the locations of hotel facilities—from the charging area next to the elevator to the laundry room on the rooftop. They even thoughtfully reminded me of details like ”there's a 24-hour convenience store a 5-minute walk away,” instantly easing the feeling of being in an unfamiliar city. The next day, I needed to print some documents, and the front desk readily assisted, even carefully checking the print format. This proactive and attentive service felt warmer than many high-end hotels. The cleanliness of the room further reassured me. Pushing open the room door, there was no unpleasant odor, but rather a faint, pleasant fragrance. The bedding was spotless and perfectly smooth, without a single hair or wrinkle, even the stitching along the edges of the pillows was meticulously cleaned. The bathroom glass door was free of water stains, the vanity was gleaming, the disposable toiletries were neatly arranged, and even the non-slip mat in the shower was securely placed. It was clear that the cleaning team was truly dedicated to cleaning, not just doing a perfunctory job. The most delightful surprise was the small corner next to the desk, which not only had a lamp and a charging outlet, but the overall hotel environment was also very relaxing. The corridors in the public areas were carpeted with thick carpets, making walking almost silent, so there was no need to worry about disturbing others. The window overlooked a small garden, and in the morning, opening the curtains revealed greenery and sunlight, instantly lifting my spirits. Returning to the hotel in the evening, the lobby lighting was soft and not glaring, and there were magazines on the sofa area. Occasionally sitting down to relax felt as comfortable as being in my own living room, completely lacking the formality of a traditional hotel. Finally, I must praise the breakfast! I didn't have high expectations, but the food selection was surprisingly abundant—there were freshly cooked noodles and wontons with self-selected toppings; hot dishes, bread, fruit, and yogurt; even local specialty multigrain porridge, which was soft, chewy, and not greasy. The staff replenished the ingredients promptly and cleared plates quickly, keeping the tables clean at all times; there were no empty plates left unattended for long. The most thoughtful touch was that breakfast was served until 10 am, which was perfect for travelers who needed to catch up on sleep. No need to rush; a leisurely hot meal was a great way to start the day comfortably.
This accommodation was truly the ”best value for money.” From the service and cleanliness to the ambiance and breakfast, there was nothing to complain about. If I ever visit this city again, I will definitely choose this place again, and I've already recommended it to friends who are going on business trips. Such a thoughtful hotel deserves to be known by more people.

When checking out, they even gave us a gift (Shanxi vinegar, a brand my family always uses!), which was amazing value for money, even better than big chain hotels 👍🏻. The front desk staff were also very helpful and accommodating. A very pleasant trip to Shanxi.
