Shaoguan Hotels with Bars

I stayed at the guesthouse for several days during my trip to Danxia Mountain. It's very close to the Yangyuan Mountain scenic area, just a short walk away. The hotel was reasonably priced, and the facilities were quite good. The landlady was incredibly welcoming; I felt her sincerity from the very first day. On the afternoon of the second day, I hadn't decided where to stay, and the landlady offered to store my luggage so I could continue exploring, which put my mind at ease. The guesthouse also has a restaurant nearby, Jiangjin Cuisine, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The landlady even made her own homemade yogurt and double-skin milk pudding! In short, I had a very pleasant stay. Everyone at the guesthouse, from the owner to the cleaning staff, was very friendly and helpful. If you're traveling alone or with a few friends, this is the best choice. Danxia Mountain is definitely worth visiting again, and I would definitely choose this place again next time. These are my honest reviews, not paid endorsements. I believe that sincere service, consideration for guests, and good facilities make this a worthwhile accommodation choice. I had a very pleasant stay and wish the landlady continued success in her business.

I chose this riverside hotel for a solo getaway, and it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is nestled by the mountains and water, offering expansive views from the window. The outdoor infinity pool directly overlooks the river, making it wonderfully relaxing to soak and enjoy the breeze. The guest rooms feature a minimalist designer style, with high-quality materials and comfortable, clean soft furnishings. The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive. The environment is quiet and serene, a perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Waking up to admire the distant mountains shrouded in mist and taking an evening stroll along the river was ideal for some peaceful solitude. The value for money is excellent, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

We booked the Cloud Man Family Twin Suite, which was very spacious with a lovely view from the window. There was a dedicated area for the kids to do their homework peacefully. The air conditioning was just right and quiet at night. What a pleasant surprise to find a sports area on the first floor, fully equipped with gear for badminton, basketball, dryland curling, a yoga room, and a treadmill room – the kids absolutely loved it! The hotel's location is also great, very close to the Yunmenshan Tourist Resort (with well-designed activities) and the Yunmen Dajue Zen Temple (featuring superb garden design).

I was genuinely surprised to find such a luxurious hotel nestled deep in the mountains, especially knowing it's operated by Dongguan Humen Hower Group. Hower Group's hotels consistently deliver excellent quality, whether it's their Musi-branded properties or Hower itself. Let me start with the pros: 1. **Extensive Hot Springs:** The hotel boasts a wide variety of hot spring pools, and they are genuine, with documented reports confirming their authenticity. 2. **Spacious Rooms:** The rooms are incredibly large, featuring a massive indoor bathtub and an additional hot spring tub on the balcony. 3. **Stunning Mountain Environment:** The mountain-facing views are absolutely beautiful, and the air quality is superb. 4. **Luxurious Decor:** The decor is exceptionally lavish. Sipping coffee on the lobby terrace feels like a true indulgence. 5. **Comprehensive Facilities:** The hotel is incredibly well-equipped, offering both outdoor and indoor children's playgrounds, an animal viewing area, and a traditional farming culture experience. You can even hike the hills behind the property. 6. **Excellent Mattress:** The mattress is outstanding, with just the right firmness. It's a Musi mattress. Now for the cons: 1. **Bedding Issues:** While the mattress was great, the duvet was a bit too thick and heavy, lacking the lightness and breathability I prefer. I woke up feeling stuffy several times during the night. The pillows also need improvement. Having stayed at many excellent hotels of similar caliber, including Banyan Tree, Hyatt, Atour S, and W, I've noticed that most now offer either memory foam pillows or a combination of a soft and a firm pillow. This hotel, however, provides two relatively soft, medium-fill pillows, which isn't ideal for guests with specific pillow comfort requirements. 2. **Lack of Capsule Coffee Machine:** For such a luxurious hotel, despite having a mini-bar, there was no capsule coffee machine. They only provided two drip coffee bags, which felt out of place. Most hotels of this standard typically offer a capsule coffee machine. Or perhaps this was just an issue with my specific room type? 3. **Questionable Hot Spring Ingredients:** Some of the hot spring pools were clearly labeled as containing certain herbal ingredients, but upon observation or smell, they seemed to be just regular pool water. I overheard other guests expressing the same concern. 4. **Minor Hiccup at Check-in:** We did experience a minor issue during check-in, but the staff resolved it promptly and proactively, so I won't dwell on it. However, I would suggest strengthening staff training, especially regarding attentiveness and hygiene. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel. My only regret is the limited number of nearby tourist attractions. With my kids, we only visited the Hakka Walled Village and an industrial base before leaving. If the hotel could slightly explore and recommend more good local attractions to guests, it might further enhance its overall development. I hope the hotel continues to thrive and prosper! I would definitely consider returning.

The environment was great, the service was excellent, the kids soaked in the hot springs, and the adults played mahjong while we were one player short, haha. There was also a handsome guy in the lobby (so embarrassing!). The whole family had a great time, and we'll definitely book here again next time.

First and foremost, we came here for the stream, and we were definitely not disappointed! The water is so clear, you could spend an entire afternoon playing there. The hotel environment was fantastic. We chose to come on a Friday, so it wasn't crowded. Even though it was hot, the atmosphere was beautiful and incredibly comfortable! The hotel service was perfect! They even gave us watermelons grown by local villagers, which were so sweet. We booked over a month in advance, and they included a barbecue, so there's a discount for booking in advance! We ate a lot, and there was a bonfire party in the evening. The atmosphere was amazing. Although we didn't go while we were playing in the water, just listening to the music outside was enough to make us feel the atmosphere was fantastic! It's perfect for families; my son had so much fun playing there that he didn't want to leave. The pool in our room was filled after we checked in, and it was very clean and hygienic! The only thing I think could be improved is the breakfast, which wasn't as delicious, hahaha. I'll definitely be back with friends and family, and I'll be back for the hot springs in winter.

Facilities: Complete facilities, including barbecue, KTV, coffee shop, mahjong room, etc. downstairs. The bedding is also very comfortable, with cotton and linen sheets, which are of high quality. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, carefully cleaned, and bathroom supplies are complete. Environment: At the foot of the mountain, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of Danxia Mountain. Unfortunately, it was foggy and did not see the sunrise. The overall feeling was that the winding paths lead to a quiet place. The peach blossoms were blooming in the yard, so I forgot to take pictures. Service: The service is warm and thoughtful. I even had a roasted sweet potato when I checked in. Because there were not many guests that day, the room type was upgraded. The front desk also displays award-winning information such as excellent B&Bs and the governing units of regional B&B associations. Overall, it is definitely a B&B worth staying in if you come to Danxia Mountain~

Booked five rooms in total, with the elderly and children, there is more demand, the housekeeper manager are patiently as much as possible to meet. The accommodation is quite satisfactory, there are many bugs in the mountains at night to pay attention to close the door to prevent mosquitoes, but to the mountains is to be a little closer to nature. I didn’t take too many photos, I was basically playing with my family. There are also beekeepers near the scenic spot, who tried fresh honey and followed the housekeeper down the mountain to catch up on the fair day to see many local products sold by locals. The scenic area is not very big, but you can take children to run and play in the water. The trip is quite satisfactory. The butler also helped send the missing stuff.

The room is almost hygienic, and the law is quite satisfactory. It is said that there are more mosquitoes at night. We can't sleep at night.

The boss is good and amiable. The hotel is also very used to living. The room area is bigger than the previous hotel of the same level. This can be. Especially my room has a balcony, this is absolutely praised. I like the sun, I prefer to cast a balcony and see Danxia Mountain and the fields at a glance. Yes, I saw the fields are wild and green, and the scenery is infinite. The wind blows the grass to see the cattle and sheep.
