"I stayed for 2 nights in early August. **Front Desk:** There was someone who understood Japanese, which immediately put me at ease. **Room:** It was clean, and the bed was soft, so I slept comfortably. The air conditioning felt a bit cool. There's a park behind the hotel, and I could hear lively voices even after 9 PM. It might have been a one-off, but if that bothers you, pay attention to the room location. **Nearby Shops:** Having an EMart next door and convenience stores like GS25 and CU very close by was extremely convenient. **Nearby Attractions:** Sukhbaatar Square is about a 15-minute walk away. If that distance isn't an issue for you, I think this is a pretty good option."

"Firstly, this hotel is Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's highest-rated luxury hotel, and most of its services are of a very high standard. For example, the two male managers who served me on the night of my check-in were professional and friendly, which prompted me to extend my stay for another day at my own expense. The hotel's dining service is also top-notch, both in terms of staff quality and food excellence – truly fantastic. However, on the last day of my extended stay, there were a few incidents that I can't quite get over. Firstly, a female manager, in front of several staff members, questioned whether I had paid for the first two nights. This was not only bad luck during the Chinese New Year, but such an inquiry in public, without regard for the guest's dignity, is truly debatable. Secondly, I trusted the hotel to help me call taxis, one for sightseeing in the morning and another for the airport the next day. The cost was significantly higher, but they explained it, and I accepted. The taxi for sightseeing went smoothly as I booked it on the spot. When I returned to the hotel at noon, no one informed me whether the taxi for the 6 AM airport transfer the next day had been confirmed. I couldn't help but go downstairs to ask if there was a taxi available to the State Department Store. After a staff member made a call, they said the taxi company had no cars available due to the holiday, and I could only walk or try my luck on the street. I was dumbfounded at that moment. I was supposed to leave at 5:50 AM tomorrow, and no one had informed me whether the taxi booking was successful, nor was there a contract or notification. What was I supposed to do? So, I quickly arranged a car through a travel agency for an airport transfer at 5:50 AM the next morning. When I checked out at 5:30 AM the next day, the receptionist told me a car had been booked. It was a very passive situation, and I also had to explain the issue with the room fees from the previous two days. Fortunately, the receptionist that day was very professional and understood my urgency to catch my flight, helping me resolve each issue professionally. Highly commendable!!"

"My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Ulaanbaatar Boutique Hotel. The location is excellent—it’s conveniently close to shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to explore the city on foot. A special mention goes to the breakfast team. It was such a pleasant surprise to see fellow Filipinos providing such outstanding hospitality. Stanley Barcia, Vincent Monterde, Rena Grace Adlit, Nikkie Rose Alcansado, and Beave Kristine Alivio were all incredibly attentive, welcoming, and warm throughout our stay. They always greeted us with genuine smiles and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed each morning. Their friendliness and excellent service truly made our breakfasts enjoyable and memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Ulaanbaatar Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Mongolia."

"The hotel room is spacious, and the location is good, about a 15-minute walk from the plaza. However, the breakfast was a bit limited and served in small portions. There are restaurants on the first two floors below, and the Chinese restaurant served up some delicious food – we ate there twice!"

"Fantastic stay in Ulaanbaatar – highly recommended! Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. For a hotel right in the city center during peak season, the price was super reasonable. The room is well-maintained and the decor still feels quite fresh and modern. The location is absolutely perfect. It is within easy walking distance to all the main tourist spots in Ulaanbaatar, such as Sukhbaatar Square, the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, and the State Department Store. Given that traffic in downtown Ulaanbaatar is notoriously bad, walking is definitely much faster than taking a car! I was also impressed by the comprehensive range of toiletries provided. Everything you could possibly need—toothpaste, a comb, a razor, and a shower cap—was all there, and they even included a sewing kit! The staff speak fluent English, making communication a breeze. They were also incredibly helpful—after I checked out to head to Terelj National Park, they kindly assisted me in booking a taxi. If I ever visit Ulaanbaatar again, I will definitely choose to stay here!"

"I had a wonderful stay at The Blue Sky Hotel and Tower. The location is perfect, with easy access to the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The service was excellent, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and ready to help. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable, clean, and offered a great view. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city."

"My very 1st trip to Ulaanbaatar has been made perfect with the staying at Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel. It’s located in a very central and convenient area, just next to the Sukhbaatar Square. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast has a good selection. More importantly, the staffs at the Reception desk are extremely friendly, professional and helpful. I wish to give 10 out of 5 for their incredible hospitality. In particular, when I inquired the airport bus, Degi not only helped me downloading the UB Smart Bus app to check out the buses but also prepared a small map to ensure I can find the bus stop at night. She also helped us in arranging a cab for work. Bold, a young gentleman on his gap year, warmly received us upon arrival. He even took some cash out of his own pocket when I asked for help in getting smaller notes for the cab charge. Besides, they also speak very decent English, making our communications much easier and impeccable. I shall definitely come back to Best Western Tuushin for future trips to Ulaanbaatar. Many thanks indeed for all the wonderful experiences and memories."

"I had a pleasant stay at the Ramada Hotel overall. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, helpful, and made the experience smooth from check-in to check-out. The location is a major highlight for me, as it’s very convenient. I had to pick up my husband early in the morning from the airport, and it only took about 45 minutes, which worked out perfectly. There is also a lounge on the top floor, which is a nice feature, although it felt a bit old-fashioned. In fact, the hotel overall has an older style and could benefit from some modernization. The room itself was on the smaller side but still comfortable enough for a short stay. One issue I noticed was with the bathroom ventilation. Even though I was on a non-smoking floor, when I turned on the ventilator, cigarette smoke seemed to come through. Once I turned it off, the smell disappeared. Additionally, we stayed two nights, and housekeeping did not come to make up the room, which was a bit disappointing. This is an area the hotel could improve. Overall, despite a few inconveniences, I would still recommend this hotel for its great service and excellent location."

"I stayed here the day before my flight home. There are local supermarkets nearby, and a shopping mall is just a short walk away. Gandan Monastery is also within walking distance. When I asked the hotel to arrange a taxi to the airport for the next morning, it cost 150,000 Tugriks, and they prepared a lunch box for me instead of breakfast. It seems like there are a lot of Korean guests, and it was a bit noisy at night."

"The room was clean and tidy. The location is great for avoiding traffic on the way to the airport, especially if you have an early flight the next day. The restaurant food was mediocre, and the indoor central air conditioning was quite noisy."
