"The hotel has a great location, right next to the Fengcailou Archway and very close to Fengdu Pedestrian Street. There are so many good restaurants around! There's a free attraction right downstairs – the Shaozhou Prefectural Confucian Temple. The hotel has smart voice control, but it seems the voice control only works for the air conditioning and curtains; it can't even control the projector 😂. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the shower has great water pressure. The front desk has a free self-service coffee machine and some convenient free items like dental floss, a sewing kit, and band-aids – very thoughtful!"

GGuest UserI made a last-minute decision to go to Danxia Mountain and saw that I had booked Yunsu Hotel 8 years ago, but I hadn't called the owner to make a reservation beforehand. The owner told us to stay at Firefly Hotel instead. Back then, Firefly Hotel had just opened, and the walls and room facilities were relatively new, so it was alright. 8 years later, when I booked Firefly again, it was much older and more worn out. Water was constantly dripping from the air conditioner at the door, and the sheets seemed unwashed; they were quite itchy. The only redeeming quality was the price.

HHappy GardenThe location is very convenient! Going over, the left hand is the entrance of Danxia Mountain, and the right hand side is the water Danxia Pier at night. The proprietress was super good, told us the route map of Danxia Mountain, and also helped us arrange tickets and introduce nearby food. Finally, she helped us arrange a car to the second stop. The itinerary is perfect. Worth introducing.

GGuest UserVery clean and warm hotel. Very big room, huge window and view to the mountains. New double windows, so very quiet. Good beds and linen, good shower. The owners are extremely helpful. The girl made us 2 days itinerary with suggestions which places to go and which routes to use. She printed out the whole A4 text that was really helpful and made markings on the mountain map. We followed only her suggestions and without them it had been difficult decide where to go. The guy ordered us car to Shaoguan city, paid for it with his Wepay app and we paid him back using Alipay! It was so helpful of him to do it, because Alipay showed prices at around 150 RMB, Wechat only 58! We as foreigners couldn't download Wechat. Very good hotel, when visiting Danxia Mountains!

The front desk staff was lovely and even offered to upgrade me to a slightly bigger room. It was clean although the bathroom was small and had an unpleasant smell (although it was clean). Overall, a decent place to stay, and the location is definitely the area to sleep if you visit Danxia mountain. I stayed 2 nights and if you want to explore the whole park, 2 days sound about right.

GGuest UserEvery time I visit Shaoguan, I always stay at this Home Inn Express Hotel. The staff are very welcoming, the rooms are spotless and even have aromatherapy, the scenery is beautiful, parking is convenient, and it's easy to find places to shop and eat. Highly recommended! The only downside is that the elevator is being renovated, so you have to climb the stairs, which is a bit tiring.
