"A high-quality hotel with excellent transport connections, located just outside the city center’s green zone. Friendly and helpful staff.
A downside for cleanliness, as the bed sheets had to be changed due to stains on them. Some noise could be heard from the neighboring rooms. There was also a minor issue with the night lights, as they turned on by themselves a few times.
The room was spacious with city views, and everything functioned as you would expect from such a new hotel."

"The location is super convenient, about 200 meters from the Sol metro station exit, surrounded by all sorts of shops and restaurants. Popular attractions are also just a few hundred meters away.
The hotel has 6 floors with its own elevator. The second floor features a large kitchen and common area where you can cook your own meals. Paid breakfast is available for 11 Euros.
The laundry room is on the 5th floor and costs 9 Euros per use.
The room size was decent, neither too big nor too small. It had a small balcony door offering street views, and once closed, the soundproofing was quite good. However, there were no curtains, which was very inconvenient. The room had two toilets (one for women, one for men), two sinks, and two shower rooms (the shower doors were glass and didn't lock, nor did they have hooks). Housekeeping was daily, and the cleanliness was excellent. Hairdryers had to be borrowed from the front desk.
Every staff member at this hostel was incredibly warm and friendly, which significantly enhanced the stay."

"The location was amazing, super close to reach by bus if you come from the airport. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had shampoo and soap. There's an elevator, so I didn't have to carry my 23 kg bag. The included breakfast looked very good＞ buffet style, bread, fruits, cakes, cereal, cheese and coffee. WiFi was strong and I used it to work, since I work online"

"The hotel enjoys a prime location in the city center, with buses and the subway just a 2-3 minute walk away. A supermarket is nearby, and the Grand Palace and the Prado Museum are both a 10-minute walk away, making them very convenient. Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor are also a 5-6 minute walk away. The front desk service was excellent. I booked a superior shared dormitory with a private bathroom. The bathroom was good, but the room was a bit small, making it difficult to unpack large suitcases. There were four capsules in two rows, one above the other, and the room itself was windowless, making it a bit stuffy. The hotel's advantage lies in its location."

"The hotel is a bit far from the airport, but they offer a free shuttle service. You need to pay attention to the schedule and pick-up/drop-off locations. From the airport to the hotel, you can just hop on the shuttle directly. However, in the morning when heading back to the airport, you'll need to get a ticket from the front desk first. The shuttle runs infrequently, so if you miss it, you'll have to take a taxi. Otherwise, it's a standard Ibis, pretty much what you'd expect."

I like the public area on the ground floor, if there could be more charging place would be nice.
However, only 2 bathroom for 12 people is not enough. One of the bathroom only have cold water and the sink is outside the toilet.
I think it is a fair option for such a price in the city, still there is an improvement.
If you are a solo traveller that need a short stay, it is an acceptable choice."

As a large hostel it tends to have groups of first-time travellers but it is still possible to socialize; they promote games, walking tours, pub crawlings etc

PPink323Hard Rock Hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Atocha station. The entrance has steps, and staff kindly helped with our large luggages when we went inside to ask. The lobby looks trendy and welcoming at check-in.
We booked a 4-night stay in a family room for two. Paying extra, we chose family room with two washing basins, as shown on their website and confirmed verbally at check-in. However, the room given had an extra rollaway bed set up and only one basin. After reminding front desk that we didn’t need the extra bed and specifically requested two basins, there was some delay—possibly due to language barriers. Eventually, the front desk agreed to rearrange our room.
We appreciated this gesture, though initially the staff seemed reluctant, repeating “it is set up like that” and showing blank faces. I had to be assertive to explain that the extra bed defeats the purpose of paying more for extra space. Hotels should understand that some guests pay extra for bigger rooms without needing extra beds. Flexibility to remove the bed would improve guest experience. If I had known, I might have paid less for a standard room.
In the end, they moved us to a room without the extra bed and with two sinks. While the staff handled this without smiles, they were friendly and responsive during the rest of our stay. This was my first time at Hard Rock Hotel, and perhaps cultural differences influenced the front desk’s reaction.
The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with tea, coffee, and a daily bottle of water. Though bar noise was audible from downstairs, it was not disturbing, and earplugs were provided. Housekeeping was always friendly and smiling.
Overall, Hard Rock Hotel has excellent facilities. I’m unsure if I’d return, but the quality of the hardware is good.

我哋預訂了四晚家庭房，比標準房貴一點因想多一點空間。並經酒店網頁宣傳圖見此房形有兩個洗手盆，我辦理入住時口頭提醒。但入到的房間已有多一張折疊床，且只有一個洗手盆。致電接待我哋二人不需要額外床，且特別要求兩個洗手盆後，因語言障礙可能溝通較慢，前台最終同意調整房間。
我哋感激有安排，但起初員工態度似乎有些抗拒，還說「額外床就是這樣安排的」，臉上毫無表情。我必須堅持解釋，多出來的床反而讓付費多出空間變得無意義。酒店應該理解或有單人住客會想選擇較大空間房形。能夠靈活移除或調整額外床會提升客人體驗。
最後，前台換了沒有額外床且有兩個洗手盆的family room房間。雖然當時處理時員工面無表情，但整體服務期間他們都友好且回應迅速。這是我第一次入住 Hard Rock Hotel，或許文化差異讓前台員工對這類服務顯得不自在。
房間本身寬敞乾淨，配置有茶包、咖啡及每日一支水。雖然能聽到樓下酒吧的聲音，但不影響休息，床邊還有耳塞。客房房務人員總是帶著笑容，非常親切。
總體來說，Hard Rock Hotel 硬體設施優秀，但暫時不確定會否再次入住。

GGuest UserThe hotel bedding was very comfortable, and the cleaning lady was super friendly. She cleaned our room extremely well, even folding our clothes and tidying up our cosmetics ☺️. BUT! A certain female receptionist was incredibly rude, super mean to my friend and me. She rolled her eyes and pointed fingers at us, acting very impatient, yet she was very warm towards Caucasian guests... What's up with that?? Also, they assigned us a room right opposite the elevator?? It was so noisy with people passing by, we couldn't get any good rest... In short, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for Chinese guests; you might get eye-rolls, be pointed at, and be given a bad room.

The location is also excellent, right next to Retiro Park and the Prado Museum.

I booked a room without breakfast, but for some reason, breakfast was complimentary, which was a nice surprise. The variety wasn't extensive, but the taste was acceptable. You could also order from a menu.

While the city and its infrastructure may feel a bit outdated compared to other global hubs, the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá was a decent and comfortable place to stay.
The hotel’s location is its strongest feature—it’s directly across from Chamartín Train Station and its adjacent subway station. While the train station and subway facilities are not the most modern or impressive, the convenience of being so close to transportation hubs is a definite plus. The street leading to the hotel is a bit unusual, set on a slope, but it’s manageable.
The room was clean and functional, though slightly dated. The beds were comfortable, albeit with older spring mattresses that could use an upgrade. Despite the slightly worn feel, the room provided a comfortable space to rest after a day of exploring or work.
The standout feature of this hotel was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to different tastes. It was easily the highlight of my stay and set a great tone for the day.
