"A Great Stay with Excellent Amenities Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5 stars) Title: Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Edinburgh. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The room was exactly what I needed—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was a dream to sleep in after a long day of sightseeing, and I really appreciated the in-room amenities like the tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was also spotless and well-maintained. One of the major highlights for me was the hotel's location. It was perfect for my needs, being a short drive from the city center and conveniently close to local attractions like the Edinburgh Zoo. The availability of free on-site parking was a huge bonus and made traveling by car stress-free. I also had a great experience using the hotel's facilities. The indoor pool and fitness center were both clean and well-equipped, providing a relaxing way to unwind. The breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold options, and the quality of the food was excellent. While my overall experience was fantastic, there was a minor issue with the Wi-Fi in the room, which was a bit slow at times. However, this was a small inconvenience and didn't significantly impact my stay. All in all, the Holiday Inn Edinburgh is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the city. Its combination of comfortable rooms, excellent amenities, and friendly staff makes it a great value for money. I would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends and family."

"It is just near the Spain Visa Centre. Everything is great. The room space is very big. But the bad thing is that at that night, the fire alarm was tripped multiple times at 4:00am and also went off three times after that which made people very insecure."

"Very comfy and spacious room, perfect stay for travelling nearby Edinburgh. Around 30mins drive from Edinburgh royal mile, but I personally prefer staying in this hotel rather than those in the city centre since the rooms are larger and the environment are more relaxing."

"I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Leith Waterfront and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained, offering exactly what you’d expect—comfortable rooms and great value for money. The location is a good. Being right beside the waterfront gives the area a relaxed feel and public transport links into the city centre are convenient, making it easy to explore Edinburgh without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. The breakfast was a nice touch—simple but satisfying, with plenty of hot and cold options to start the day. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were both quick and efficient. Overall, Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Leith Waterfront is a great choice if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable stay with easy access to both Leith and central Edinburgh. I’d happily stay again."

"Facilities: Decent. Cleanliness: Acceptable. Location: Situated on a small hill, about a 20-minute drive from the city. The breakfast selection was limited. Service: The front desk staff were friendly. However, the room we were given was not ideal, as it was located right next to the elevator. Additionally, one of the rooms was on the mezzanine level, lacked a window, and suffered from poor ventilation."

"The room is indeed a bit old, but for me, who is visiting the UK for the first time, this kind of B&B feels much better than a chain hotel. The owner is very enthusiastic. Even if you don't speak English, he will be very enthusiastic and take the initiative to introduce you to other places. He even extended my reservation for one day."

"The rooms and bathrooms are clean, and the hotel is close to the train station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The front desk staff was excellent. On our second stay, we felt our room was on a lower floor, and we requested a twin room. She diligently helped us find a new room and ultimately managed to switch us. She even proactively helped us move our luggage to the new room and gave us two complimentary drink vouchers for the bar, which we greatly appreciated. Additionally, there's a Chinese girl at the hotel's front desk who was very helpful. She told us where the supermarket was and the easiest way to get to the train station (just like someone else mentioned, definitely don't follow Google Maps, as it leads you over a big hill; following her directions was very convenient, no big hill climbing needed, you can take an elevator down). We are very grateful to her."

"The 2 ladies at reception were very helpful and nice. Location is good, bus stop only 2min away and many busses to the town and the main sightseeing places. Nice set up (I think it is all hotel, how come only 1 chair in the room) The bathroom and amenities were nice, shower is powerful, and hot. Only disappointed thing is the TV wasn't Smart also I stayed 3 nights to ask for milk. the first night they forgot. The receptionist lady named ”Hope” was great and helpful. She helped to arrange to go see the stadium and the pitch, wish I had more time. A lovely stay, would stay again"
