"My mum and I stayed there for three nights and had a really lovely experience. The location is excellent, and the reception staff are very friendly and always answer questions politely. They also organise weekly events, which I think is a great idea, even though we didn’t personally take part. One small suggestion would be to provide daily room cleaning, such as changing the bedsheets, or at least replacing the bin bags, which would make the stay even better."

"Great stay at this hostel! The front desk staff are super friendly, and the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Minor cons: the 3rd - floor sink is too small with a push faucet, but i notice 1st floor sinks are great. And breakfast have limited items. Still, it’s clean and easy to find, and I’d happily recommend it!"

"This hostel is fully automated, so there's not much staff around. You'll need to communicate via email for check-in. The location is excellent, very convenient for getting anywhere. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance."

"We booked a twin-private room. The room was small, so we had to put the luggage under the bed. If you want your room to be cleaned, then you have to book the room cleaning by scanning a QR code, 1 day before. We did it, but then no one cleaned our room. We told the reception, and they said they didn't receive our request. Hence, we had to re-book for the following day, and we told the reception as well. Only then, our room got cleaning. They cleaning was the basic one, emptied the trash bin, and refilled the toilet tissue. They wouldn't make up your bed. The hostel is strategically located, but to shorten the length, you have to take the stairs step (around 300m only). If you are with heavy luggage, then it will be around 700m from the train station (wheel-chair access street)"

"Although I stayed in the largest room which can accommodate 30 people, it didn't feel crowded at all, there was plenty of space! Because there aren't many people, even though it's a bunk bed, I can still sleep on the lower bunk because there's no one on the upper bunk and I won't be woken up in the middle of my sleep. I think that's very considerate."

"Because the travel plan changed, we booked a hostel at short notice. You know, it's not easy to book such a cheap bed in Edinburgh. The place is not difficult to find, but the stairs are small and it's difficult to move luggage. The toilet and bathroom are small, but they can be used. Breakfast is provided, and you can cook for yourself. It's very close to the station, and there are many shops nearby, including McDonald's. I left my headphones there, so I asked the customer service to contact the hotel, and finally they were successfully sent to the next city we went to. In short, thank you very much to Ctrip's customer service, and the response and service of the hostel are also very good!"

"Since it is a backpacker hotel, the rooms are private but the bathroom is shared. Good •The staff are friendly and will deal with any problems you may have. Even when one of the showers was broken, it was repaired the next day, so it was very helpful. •The bath and toilet are always clean. •There is a shared kitchen, so you can cook and heat up side dishes to save on food costs in Edinburgh, where prices are high. •The location is great, and it is just a short walk from Edinburgh Castle. It is perfect for visiting any tourist spot! •I had an early morning flight on the day I checked out, so I left the hotel around 3am and walked 5-6 minutes to the bus stop, but the street was well-lit and I wasn't afraid to walk alone, so it was easy to spend time there. Not good If I had to point out one drawback, it would be that the walls in the rooms are thin, so footsteps can echo and you can hear the conversation of people in the next room. I was tired and had a deep sleep, so it didn't bother me much after I fell asleep. Also, because it is a backpacker hotel, you need to bring your own amenities. If you forgot shampoo, soap, etc., you could buy them at a nearby supermarket. Highly recommended for people who want to keep costs down while still enjoying sightseeing!"

"Another night staying at this hostel. We stayed in a six-person female dorm. Except that the drainage is quite bad at the shower room, and the bunk bed is noisy when i move, everything is good and clean. A good choice for budget traveller!"

"This is a very interesting hotel in a converted church, the staff are very nice, friendly and attentive. Because it is a historical building, there is no way to remodel it. The rooms are still relatively large. There are collective kitchens, movie rooms, and few single rooms, so it is more convenient to wash in the public bathroom. It's still fun to feel the unique atmosphere."

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, right near Edinburgh Waverley Station. Just make sure to use the Market Street exit. I booked a female-only quad room, which consisted of two bunk beds. It came with a private bathroom and shower for the four occupants, though the room itself was quite compact. Unfortunately, luggage storage isn't free. You'll need to use the lockers located in the communal kitchen upstairs. It cost me £2 for an hour.

RRocks tripsA last minute booking as my flight was delayed and couldn’t make connecting train, everything was fine, bottom bunk a little short on headroom but fine for sleeping, everything clean but energy saving toilets often didn’t flush but thats just down to water power, Perfect location could’ve better placed with its own bar and 5 mins walk to train station and city centre

JJINGAbsolutely a good location for quietness and quiet in the new city. Very close to the train station and the airport bus. If you bring large luggage, it is recommended that you live in the new city. It is very convenient. As long as you have a bed, you don’t need to wait until the afternoon. If you have big luggage, you need to take some effort to climb this red staircase. Others are perfect. You can cook in the kitchen. Basically, you have fruit, bread, milk, and tea. There is no limit in the hall. Your best meal, please consciously tidy and clean the girl I live in. The 6 rooms have curtains. The bedside can fill the shop. Small luggage can be placed directly in everyone's cabinet. If you are lucky, you can live on the bottom floor. Hahaha. It's a three-story bed, so the first floor is very low and I can hardly straighten the waist. I can end it. After all, the price is so favorable. Right, there is a great coffee bar and small restaurant downstairs. Everyone is seductive when I see the Apple store and turn in. This is the bar and the hotel

Ssib-elThe room itself was clean, but the surrounding areas were not as good. The showers on my side were not even there so we had use our neighbors and there was one day in which there was no hot water at all. The one bathroom we had in our area had to light and was smelly most of the time. Again, the room was clean and did not smell, it was also huge so everyone had plenty of room for everything. The staff was super friendly I can’t complain about that and they also had the best washing machines and dryers ever. The location is pretty central but there is no elevator so if you get a room on the 4th floor that’s gonna be rough.

RRuiyouBecause the flight was canceled, I had to return one day later than planned. It was my first time to experience a backpacker hotel, and it was really good. We arrived at ten o'clock, because the latest check-out from the hotel was 11 o'clock, and we had already booked a castle tour at 11 o'clock. It might have been past the 7 o'clock key collection time when we returned to the hotel after a day of fun, but the clerk was still very active in helping us find a way. Everything was taken care of very well, allowing us to spend the day happily without interruption. As a backpacker hotel, it is really good. The overall guest room is very comfortable and warm. We were given a triple room on the top floor with a double bed and a single bed. The elderly did not have to worry about climbing up and down. The shared bathroom on the floor is also very clean and tidy, and the roommates who share it also use it well. It is very convenient to have a sink in the room, which is very convenient for washing fruits, washing hands, brushing teeth and face. The room also has a TV and a small safe. The bedside table is equipped with a mirror, a chest of drawers and a cute closet. My small suggestion is that it would be better if there were more places to hang clothes, otherwise I think it is very good.

AAnonymous UserThe staff were nice, the bed and the toilet was clean. However, the bathroom was dirty. The sleeping experience depends on the people in the room. Mine was bad because people in the room with me was loud even at 11PM. There was a bar on the ground floor. There was also a kitchen for people to use which was nice. Do I recommend this? If you're saving money, yes. But i recommend bringing slippers to be more comfortable and a lock for your bag for safety.
