"The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to the iconic Red Square. Our room faced the sea, offering clear views of the beautiful Straits Mosque, which looked especially stunning at night with its constantly changing colored lights. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby; across the road, there's an authentic and delicious Nyonya restaurant. I particularly enjoyed the hotel's swimming pool and sauna; it was so relaxing to go from a swim to a sauna session. Malacca is a wonderful place for a vacation, especially the weekend night market, which is great for eating and drinking. There's so much delicious food! The hotel breakfast was also very rich. The only drawbacks were that the hotel facilities are a bit old, there was no power outlet next to the bedside table for charging, and the bathroom door design had some issues. The service was alright."

"When we arrived, we were surprised that this hotel is under the same group company, Hatten Group. So it has the same parking lot shared with Hatten Hotel. Different building though. The check-in was fast but only at 3pm. The room was extremely comfortable, bed was comfy, and the shower water is really strong. The room itself overall is very clean too and well-maintained. Price is very affordable even at high-season which makes it a very attractice stay. The breakfast is just average and a bit-tad too pricey at RM 35 p/pax since Melaka itself has an abundance of other eateries options. Will definitely return."

"We had a good rest at Hallmark Crown Hotel. The room was a bit small but clean. The bedsheets and towels were clean. The water pressure was very good, the air conditioning was comfortable and the service was above satisfactory. The room has all the basic facilities and amenities.
Upon checking in, we found the room kettle was rusty but it was promptly replaced by a good one after we brought it up to the operation's attention. The sewage system disappointed us, too. On our first night, our toilet choked. But the technician came promptly and cleared the mess. The bathroom waste water took a long time to go down too but we did not make a complaint.
The continental breakfast was average but sufficient. The checking out procedure was also fuss free.
Overall, Hallmark Crown provides a decent accommodation at a budget price."

We truly appreciate the special room decoration and the lovely cake prepared for us—it was such a thoughtful and memorable surprise. "Location is great, there's ample of parking in the back - except it's not sheltered, you get all the ibis standard stuff you can expect. There r no water bottles as they have a filtered water dispense in the bathroom (odd choice) but it's good. My only grouse is the reception is super avoidant. When I arrived, there were about 7 people and 3 counters but everyone avoided eye contact except for the one person doing check in - creating a queue that should not happen, and this was after 3 pm check in time. So if you don't mind being ignored during check in n be made to wait in a queue, everything else with the hotel is good"

"A pleasant experience to stay at this hotel. We was greeted and attended warmly. The room was very celan , spacious and decorated nicely. The receptionist name Mira was very nice, other staff there also very friendly and helpful. The only thing that need to improve a bit is the breakfast. I stayed for 3 nights and i think its little bit boring eating the same food repeatedly. I suggest if the hotel could add more variety on the menu. Overall it was a good stay."

Ccancan1125This hotel is a beautiful 10-minute taxi ride from Melaka Sentral. The front desk service was very warm and welcoming. I arrived quite early, and after I checked my luggage, it was already in my room when I checked in later that evening. Breakfast is à la carte, and the service was consistently good. The hotel's location is great, within walking distance to attractions like Jonker Street. There's also a fantastic char kway teow stall nearby that's open at night; a local taxi driver recommended it, and while there's often a long queue, it moves very quickly.

JJoey PakLast minute trip to melaka. The unit is very comfortable and very clean. Check in process is quick and easy. From the balcony you still see the city, it is beautiful at night and breezy too. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. There's WiFi and TV box for some chill time. Owner is friendly and informative. She recommended some cafe hopping places to us.
The owner recommended us the restaurant at lv44 and had asked us to present the residence access card for 10% discount. Food and drinks are delicious, definitely recommended to have lunch and dinner there.

Environment: The overall cleanliness was impeccable. The only downside was that the location was a bit far out, but it was quite close to a small island.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is quite good, with two malls nearby offering plenty of restaurants and a supermarket for souvenirs. It's conveniently located between Jonker Street and the Straits Mosque, about a ten-minute taxi ride to both. The room looked a bit dated, but the amenities were quite comprehensive. The family room had a bunk bed, which the kids loved. It was advertised as a 2.3m king-size bed, but it felt more like an 1.8m. When booking, it stated two breakfasts were included, and even though we had 2 adults and 3 children, we weren't charged extra for breakfast, which we really appreciated. The breakfast offered both Western and Chinese options, and the taste was good; our favorite was definitely the noodle soup shown in the pictures.

CChai JingBooked the suite and room was really big. Came with 2 queen beds and had a separate work area big enough for meals and activities 😅
Room was clean and look well maintained. No stains or whatsoever. Very pleasant stay. The hotel staff were helpful and prompt in service. We asked to clean up the room and left for breakfast immediately after. When we returned the room was all made up, neat and tidy.
Breakfast was decent. Do note though, that the take-your-own-food buffet style became semi ala carte buffet because there were not enough guests while I was there. Still, it was good enough.
Kids wanted to swim but the pool was a little too tiny for our liking. We did activities outside of the hotel though so not much of an issue.
Location wise. If you want something right next to malls or in the heart of the jonker area, this is probably not your best choice. We take a 10 min walk to the jonker area and it was a comfortable stroll though. Quiet enough but not too near.
Overall a good stay and very happy to return.

2. spacious room with ironboard, fridge, kettle, tea & coffee and drinking water

4. hotel breakfast if purchased with room was good and compliments to the chef also the service assistant rahman was efficient.

WWanderlust1Older property and it’s starting to show. Lifts take forever during check out allow at least 20 minutes. Great view from the balcony but it can get noisy with kids swimming early. Bedding provided is minimal and bare frills stay. Location is good.

GGuest UserIt’s shocked that I was given a room not yet tidy up(first time in all my travels) and I waited a bit to get it changed (the room changed with not working with the room card for the electricity (need to do it manual). It’s already after 8pm so I only wanted to rest.
And one night the water tap was broken and no water was out.. I called reception to get it fixed but no body came until I called it again. They fixed it but with water all splashed in the bathroom..
It’s disappointing and I don’t think I’ll do a second time here.
Overall it’s not noisy there, staffs ok friendly but the location is a bit far from the attraction sites and it’s a bit far to find restaurant nearby.

LLee Oi KengCleanliness and location is good, very near Jonker street. Cons are security wise needs improvement cos anyone can just walk in and especially in the early morning when we came down, the Indian guy was sleeping at the counter and I doubt he knows who went in and out. The room is very spacious but they should provide at leastt a small piece of soap for hand washing. When we arrived at the hotel at about 1pm, since the rooms are available, why can't they just let us check in instead of having to wait till 3pm ( we heard there were less than 10 rooms occupied that night). I was abit unlucky cos 1st room issued to us was a room under maintenance, 2nd room given to us only has a towel and 1 cup for 2 pax in the room and the toilet flushing system broke down in the middle of the night, phone out of order and I had to climb up and down the stairs numerous times to ask for things. No lifts in the hotel.
