Although Beijing XinYuan Hotel is not a newly built property, it is well-maintained and continues to meet the standards of an official 5-star hotel. The hotel offers a comprehensive range of facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness centre, a complimentary self-service laundry room and several restaurants, making it suitable for both leisure and family travellers. The hotel is not located within the main tourist district and most major attractions are some distance away. However, this is not a significant inconvenience because the nearest metro station is within walking distance. Travelling by metro is straightforward and convenient while taxi or ride hailing services can usually reach most popular attractions within about 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions. One notable advantage is that the hotel has front desk staff who are able to communicate in English. This makes the check in process and general enquiries much easier for international visitors who do not speak Mandarin. Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM. In practice, if the buffet has been prepared before the official opening time, guests are generally allowed to start dining slightly earlier. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of dishes with an emphasis on traditional Chinese cuisine. The menu changes slightly each day, providing some variety for guests staying several nights. The dining area also includes automatic coffee machines and tea beverage dispensers, allowing guests to prepare drinks quickly and conveniently. While it is not situated beside the city's main attractions, its easy access to the metro network and reasonable travelling time by taxi make it a practical and enjoyable base for exploring Beijing.

Review from a non-chinese tourist. Pros: location, low to almost none level of noise, cleanliness. Cons: no one can assist you in english, breakfast (if you’re not chinese or adapted to local food). It’s right next to Beijing West Railway station, so multiple malls, shops, cafes etc available. When I was checking in I was given key to a wrong room - someone else was already staying there. I understand mistakes happen but after 20 hrs of travel it’s hard. The biggest dissapointment was the breakfast: it said that it’s buffet with chinese and western food. In reality almost no food that you would normally eat for breakfast, lots of chinese food (I wouldn’t have problem with it if it wasn’t so greasy - it’s just not the best for starting your day). Overall - good for the price and location.

The room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Aisen provided excellent and prompt service, always quick to assist with any requests. The location is convenient for getting around, yet the environment is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast offered a great variety and tasted delicious. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay!

This hotel was perfect for my layover before catching a train! It's only 400 meters from Beijing West Railway Station, so it was just a few minutes' walk to the station, which was incredibly easy with luggage. The amenities were really practical. The hotel offers breakfast, so I didn't have to scramble to find a restaurant in the morning. They also have a self-service laundry room, which was great for catching up on laundry accumulated during my travels. Plus, the room supported robot delivery for food, which was super convenient. It really met all the essential needs for a traveler. The room was spotless, very clean and tidy when I walked in, making for a really comfortable stay. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and very efficient, making interactions easy and pleasant. It's ideal for a transit stay between trains, and offers great value for money. I'll definitely book here again next time I pass through!

Location: Super convenient, right across from the east side of West Station North Square. Easy access to public transport, subway, and taxis. Lots of food options too. You can check in within a few steps of getting off the train, and no rush when checking out. Recommended! Service: Excellent! The front desk upgraded our room for free when they saw I had a child with me. Facilities: The hotel is a little on the older side overall, but the location makes up for it. Cleanliness: Very good, didn't notice anything unclean.

The service is still great, I've stayed here multiple times. It's conveniently located and safe. However, to be honest, because the hotel is older now, there's an unpleasant sewage smell in the bathroom. I suggest they use some air freshener, otherwise, everyone should definitely keep the toilet lid closed at night, or the smell gets quite strong.

This newly opened hotel is excellent! It's super close to Beijing West Railway Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a 24-hour gym and self-service laundry room. The room hygiene is impeccable. A special shout-out to the duty manager, Vic, who provided complimentary fruit and snacks upon check-in and even a free breakfast. He was very patient in answering any questions I had, and the service was truly exceptional.
