Hotels in Xidan and Financial Street Area, Beijing

For our stay in Beijing we did choose the Le Joy Hotel and it was a key ingredient to make the trip fantastic. The Hotel is perfectly located to visit Beijing's most important attractions. The nearby Xidan station gives access to lines 1 and 4, providing an easy way to reach Tien'anmen, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace as well as walking street areas such as as TQuianmen, Dashilan, Wangfujing and Shishahai. Our room was spacious, perfectly clean and comfortable. We often have problems with hotel beds but not in this case and at the end of our daily long walks we enjoyed a very good rest. The restaurant offers an outstanding breakfast with a large buffet with a variety of food and drinks, all of excellent quality. Last but not least, the personnel was very friendly and helpful, supporting us in bookings and providing us with information. In particular Xuanxuan/Candice supported us also through WeChat all along our stay. I strongly recommend Le Joy Hotel for a trip to Beijing!

The room is spacious, clean, and quiet. The location is convenient, with a supermarket nearby, and a Xinjiang halal restaurant and Beijing Ziguangyuan Halal Snack Shop downstairs, making dining easy. Highly recommended! 🌹🌹🌹

I had a great stay here. The location is excellent for transportation, making it convenient for errands. It's close to my office, and in my free time, I explored Niujie and Qianmen, which are great for snacks. The hotel is also not far from Xidan. The front desk staff were all very kind and friendly, and they provided detailed information about local attractions. Alina Alice provided excellent service, a definite commendation!

Staying in the tatami room was an excellent experience. The mattress was soft and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The room was spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors, making for a very pleasant living environment. It came with a refrigerator, and complimentary drinking water and beverages were thoughtfully provided. All the facilities were well-maintained and meticulously cared for. The lobby had a delightful, fresh scent, and the corridors were quiet and peaceful, free from noise. The staff were warm and attentive. Overall, the stay was superb, offering great value for money, and I highly recommend it.

I've stayed in a few hotels in Beijing, and this time I chose the Hua Wei. It's located in the Xidan business district, offering a quiet escape despite being in a bustling area. It's not far from the Xidan subway station, making travel very convenient. The guest rooms are on floors 9-11 of the Hua Wei Building, while floors 7 and 8 have popular restaurants. The hotel elevators are separate from the mall elevators, so there's no interference. Across the street are Joy City, Juntai Department Store, and Hanguang Department Store, making dining and shopping extremely easy! This hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, but there are breakfast spots and Guangzhou Restaurant in the alley behind the hotel, so breakfast isn't an issue. The hotel rooms are apartment-style and very comfortable. I do have one suggestion for the hotel: it would be great if they could provide a retractable, portable drying rack. We stayed for three nights and washed some small items, but there was nowhere to hang them to dry. Even the retractable clothesline in the shower wasn't available.

The room isn't huge, but it has everything you need and is very clean. The two 1.35-meter beds were enough for two adults and two children. It's a five-minute walk from the subway station and located in Anpingli Hutong, though taxis can only drop you off at the hutong entrance. The front desk staff were very friendly. The only downside was the lack of an elevator; our room was on the fourth floor, so climbing the stairs after a tiring day out was a bit much.

Even though the decor is simple, I found it to be clean and tidy with no strange odors, which I really appreciate. I'm very particular about bathrooms, so I was pleasantly surprised that this one was spotless. Another guest accidentally took my clothes from the dryer, and the front desk was incredibly helpful, checking the surveillance footage to get them back. The location is also very convenient, just a few minutes walk to the subway. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in town.

This stay was fantastic! Check-in and check-out were super fast, with no waiting in line. The room was exceptionally clean, very spacious so it didn't feel cramped, and had excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The fridge was also stocked with lots of complimentary drinks, which was a thoughtful and great value-add. This hotel offers amazing value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!

The Beijing Guangzhou Grand Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Xidan's commercial district, making it super convenient for getting around. After its 2024 refurbishment, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, with a strong Southern Chinese (Lingnan) flair. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and the dining offers authentic local flavors. It's an excellent choice for business travelers.

My overall stay exceeded expectations. The front desk service was excellent; the check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were kind, friendly, and pleasant to interact with. The vending machines in the lobby were well-stocked with daily necessities, making last-minute purchases very convenient. The hotel offers a large, free parking lot with plenty of easy-to-find spaces, and the addition of charging stations is a thoughtful touch, especially great for drivers and electric vehicle owners, solving a big travel problem. The room was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The hotel has clearly put a lot of thought into its guest amenities and pays attention to the small details. It offers great value for money, and its convenient location makes it suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. Definitely worth returning to repeatedly.
