Hotels in Xidan and Financial Street Area, Beijing

I was very satisfied with my stay in Beijing this time. I stayed for 9 nights and didn't want to leave! Next time I come to Beijing, I'll definitely stay here again. The hotel's location is super convenient. It's an easy walk to Xidan subway station, which gets you to most of the core attractions. To get to Badaling Great Wall, you can take the subway directly to Xizhimen Beijing North Station and then a high-speed train, which takes only 30 minutes. Tiananmen Square and the National Museum are just two stops away. Taxis are also readily available. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, with no strange odors. They were very prompt with restocking room amenities. My mom really liked the slippers, saying they were good quality. The twin beds (1.35m) were spacious and comfortable. There's also a sofa and a round table, which was handy for eating takeout and temporary work. The room was bright and roomy; we could spread out several suitcases without feeling cramped. Oh, and there's a free laundry room. I didn't use the gym, but there's also a public study room on the 8th floor. We didn't book breakfast, but there are two breakfast places around the hotel, and ordering delivery was also very convenient. Lunch and dinner were never a problem, with direct access to Joy City and various surrounding malls. There's every kind of food imaginable – famous Peking duck, hot pot, Zhajiangmian... I took my grandma and child and we had Peking duck 3 times in 8 days, haha! Manager Shen at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. Any requests could be handled via WeChat at any time. Thumbs up for her excellent service! The hotel management should definitely give Manager Shen a bonus!

Enjoying a delightful afternoon tea in the hotel lobby, I got a real taste of Old Beijing's Hutong culture. The front desk even gave us a free room upgrade! Compared to other Hutong hotels, the room was quite spacious, and having a courtyard and a rooftop terrace was a huge plus. The breakfast was exquisite, and any issues we had were promptly addressed. It's definitely a place worth staying at again.

I'm a traveler from Xinjiang. After a long flight to Beijing, I was looking forward to checking into the hotel for a good rest, as I needed to go to the Children's Hospital near the hotel the next day. However, during check-in, I realized my child's birth certificate was missing – I suspected I'd left it in the taxi. I instantly panicked. The hotel staff, Xin Yi, immediately noticed my distress. She quickly came over to calm me down and promptly helped me retrieve information and contact Didi customer service. The communication process was quite difficult, but she patiently and repeatedly verified details like the time of the ride, location, and car appearance. She continuously followed up, and finally managed to contact the driver, who confirmed the birth certificate was in the car and would be returned. While I was waiting, she kept gently reassuring me and offered me hot tea. I was incredibly touched when I got my child's certificate back. During my stay, Xin Yi thoughtfully prepared directions to Beijing Children's Hospital and recommended local specialty snacks. The laundry room attendant also proactively helped me dry my clothes, folded them neatly, and delivered them back to my room. There were many other thoughtful small touches. When I checked out, Xin Yi even gave me a Tiananmen Square magnet as a souvenir. Atour S Beijing, for me, is more than just a place to stay; it's a tangible feeling of warmth and reassurance in an unfamiliar city. Thank you, Xin Yi, and thank you to all the hotel staff.

Booked for five nights, from Feb 13th to 18th. We decided to take our child on a trip before the Chinese New Year. Honestly, I expected a standard room for around 300 RMB during this time to be just 'barely acceptable,' and the hotel lobby was quite small, more like a guesthouse. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. It was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The only drawback was that the space was a bit small, but the bed wasn't tiny. For a family of four (two adults, two kids), one large bed didn't feel cramped at all. The only real issue in winter was not having enough space to hang clothes. I imagine a deluxe standard room or a family room would be much better. The hotel is conveniently located; exit and turn left, and in about a hundred meters, you'll reach F-exit of Caishikou Subway Station, making lines 4 and 7 easily accessible. It's also not far from Niujie; you can take a bus for just one yuan, which is about two stops away. We actually walked back to the hotel after having dinner in Niujie.

Thanks to the front desk for the room upgrade. On the plus side, it was very clean and spacious. However, I could hear street noise from the room; better soundproofing on the windows would be an improvement. The air conditioning unit was quite loud, which disturbed my sleep a bit, and the heating wasn't very effective. I could also faintly hear noise from the adjacent room and the hallway, but it wasn't too disruptive. All other facilities were good.

Checked into the Beijing Xicheng Reconstructed Xishi Hutong Yingshe yesterday, and my overall experience was absolutely perfect, exceeding all expectations! The location is truly unbeatable, tucked away in an old city hutong. It's incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. It’s a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, allowing you to soak in the authentic old Beijing charm without the noise and chaos. The courtyard is elegant and spotless, with a new Chinese-style design that creates an incredible ambiance. The room was clean and odor-free, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very restful sleep. The service was an added bonus. The house manager was warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and requests were handled promptly. Every detail showed thoughtfulness, and they even helped us wash and dry our clothes. It’s perfect for solo travelers or friends visiting Beijing together. My entire stay was flawless, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Beijing. Highly recommended!
