"I booked this hotel to catch an early morning high-speed train from Longmen Station the next day. It's very close to the high-speed rail station as the crow flies, but there's no direct access, so you have to walk around, which takes about 15 minutes. The commercial area nearby still seems undeveloped. The hotel itself is very new, and the facilities and breakfast are both excellent. I arrived at night and forgot to take photos of the hotel."

"I saw a video claiming that the Henan Christine Hotel was comparable to Pang Dong Lai, so I specifically planned a trip to Luoyang to experience it. Thankfully, I wasn't disappointed. They offer free pick-up service from the station. Upon check-in, I found it was a round bed, and since I was traveling with a child, I had noted in my reservation not to have one. I called the front desk, and because there were no king-sized rooms left, they immediately upgraded my room. The complimentary late-night snacks, treats, fruits, and various other amenities were quite comprehensive. The buffet breakfast is served in the top-floor restaurant, and both the ambiance and the food were good. Finally, I have to highlight the service: everyone from the front desk to housekeeping and the restaurant staff had an excellent attitude. I will definitely choose Christine again next time I visit Henan."

"I'd heard so much about Hualian, the legendary 'Haidilao of the hotel industry,' and was really looking forward to staying there. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a room on the 3rd, so I ended up at the nearby Orange Hotel instead. The website said check-in was at 3 PM, but on the morning of the 4th, I called to see if I could check in around noon, and the front desk happily agreed. Driving into the hotel, I immediately noticed a common issue with older hotels: cars parked haphazardly in front of the lobby, making parking extremely tight. Once inside, the staff seemed very enthusiastic, offering a small gift and escorting me to my room. They also thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities and services. The room decor was clearly outdated and worn. To compensate for the lack of bedside outlets, the hotel had added a vertical power strip. The most unbearable part was having to step into an old-fashioned bathtub to shower. Although the hotel provided plastic non-slip slippers, there was still a significant risk of falling. It reminded me of The Luxe Manor in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, which was even older than Hualian. They had a half-screen covering the bathtub and a grab bar on one side, which made it feel much safer. And the shower head in the room was truly subpar; I wish they would replace it with a new one that had stronger water pressure. The snacks and fruit I ordered from the front desk arrived, and I couldn't help but laugh when I saw them. One orange was rotten. And there were only three Shine Muscat grapes… The breakfast was quite varied, but it was so crowded during meal times that it was hard to find an empty table. The toppings for the beef and chicken noodles were all empty and weren't replenished promptly. For lunch on the second floor, I tried to order several dishes, but they were all unavailable. The waiter explained that there was a wedding banquet, so many dishes couldn't be served. Overall, the hotel's service was decent; almost everyone I encountered greeted me. Also, I really appreciated the turndown service. They placed a floor mat in front of the bed, which reminded me of staying in hotels when I was younger – that used to be standard service, but it's rare to see it now. I've attached photos from my stay at The Luxe Manor in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, a few days ago, which is even older than yours. I hope Hualian Hotel takes this into consideration and renovates actively to improve!"

"The location is incredibly convenient. From Luoyang Ancient City Metro Station Exit A1, turn right, go into Wenhua Street, then turn right again (at the Eye Hospital), and their parking lot is about 100 meters away. From the main entrance, Luoyi Ancient City is just a 3-5 minute walk to the left. All the staff are very friendly and approachable! You even get a souvenir when you check in and check out! The hotel itself is also beautiful! I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Luoyang, and I'll be recommending it to my friends and family."

"I've stayed at three hotels in Luoyang, and this one offered the worst value for money. Nothing was offered upon check-in. During check-out, the front desk staff was overly enthusiastic, offering a small gift (a few pastries). As soon as I thanked her, she immediately asked us to give a 5-star review on the spot. I said I'd review it later, but she insisted we do it immediately, explaining it was for a performance assessment by her supervisor. I really disliked this. It makes me wonder if their high ratings are gamed this way. The room rate was over 500 RMB, much more expensive than Zhongzhou Hotel just a few hundred meters away, and even pricier than the 5-star Dongshan Hotel. I had expected something premium, but it felt more like an unsophisticated guesthouse. The other two hotels were cheaper but offered more professional and warmer service, plus complimentary fruit and snacks. Honest Review: 😀 Pros: 1. The quality of the in-room amenities was quite good. The slippers, made of cotton and linen, were very comfortable; I even kept them to use at subsequent hotels. 2. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation. Having a laundry room with a dryer was very convenient. 3. The buffet breakfast was delicious. 😩 Cons: 1. The soundproofing in the room was extremely poor. The family next door woke up before 6 AM, and I could clearly hear their conversations, even their yawns. The staff's attitude wasn't exactly warm; they got the job done but lacked a genuinely professional and welcoming demeanor. When we checked in with two children, they didn't offer extra slippers or toothbrushes. This wasn't a huge issue, as we had brought our own, but this indifference, especially when contrasted with the forced 'enthusiasm' at check-out, was off-putting. 2. I'm not sure if it was just the layout, but the family room felt cramped and had a strange configuration. 3. The decor wasn't grand or tasteful, which wasn't to my liking."

"Absolutely wonderful stay! This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Everything was impeccably clean — from the rooms to the common areas. The reception team and service staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any questions or requests I had. The location is ideal — right in the heart of Luoyang and just a short walk from the metro, which made exploring the city super easy and stress-free. I felt very well taken care of throughout my stay. If you're visiting Luoyang. Also the breakfast it’s so yummy 🤤!!!! I highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely love to come back again!"

"I rarely write reviews, but this was my first time in Luoyang. After looking at many hotels and guesthouses, I ultimately decided on Fengye with some hesitation. However, I was genuinely not disappointed! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the elevators were efficient, and the room amenities were also very new. The location is absolutely unbeatable – it's only a few minutes' walk from Jiefang Road subway station, at the intersection of two subway lines, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. There's a shopping mall right downstairs, placing it firmly in the city center. I'll definitely stay here again!"

"As a frequent business traveler who stays in many hotels, this was my first visit here, and it's by far the most satisfying experience I've had. The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite a popular 'internet-famous' snack street, featuring renowned eateries like Xiaojie Guotie and Xiaojie Tianfu. It's also incredibly convenient, just about a 3-minute walk from the subway station. The Tianzi Jialiu Museum is just diagonally opposite, and for those looking to explore, the 'internet-famous' Yingtianmen scenic area is a mere 15-minute walk to the right from the hotel entrance, very close to Tiantang Mingtang. The hotel's unique decor, with its charming retro style, is matched by its incredibly enthusiastic service. The security guard at the entrance was exceptionally helpful, assisting with parking guidance and luggage. The front desk staff were efficient during check-in and patiently explained the local area, offering invaluable tips on navigating nearby tourist attractions and avoiding common tourist traps. Our room was spacious and bright, featuring incredibly comfortable bedding and convenient smart room amenities. The housekeeping staff were also proactively helpful with cleaning. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety, including a delicious local specialty beef soup that was incredibly flavorful. The restaurant staff and chefs were equally enthusiastic and friendly. The afternoon tea was also impressive, with freshly ground coffee, a selection of Haibi (a local Luoyang drink available in many flavors), and delightful small snacks and exquisite mini cakes – all fantastic. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone I know."

"We booked this hotel for 2 nights because it is new and next to the Luoshenfu performance next door. Excellent hotel. So beautiful and spacious rooms with separate bathroom and toilet. Way beyond our expectations. Nice bath tub, shower room, projector TV, coffee machine with complimentary cookies and fruits and complimentary drinks in mini-bar. Robot delivering bottled water when requested. Absolutely love the hotel and wish we stayed longer. We will book this hotel again if we visit Luoyang. Chinese Restaurant had tremendous value. Delicious 9 course dinner including steam fish and lobster, taste really good. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant on both nights. The first night we were thoroughly impressed with the private dining room with ensuite toilet. Breakfast with good international selection of Chinese and Western options. Definitely the best hotel of our 2 weeks stay in China. Now we have a great impression of Luoyang because of the hotel. Only feedback is that it will be good if the toilet and bathroom lights can be separate so that at night when sleeping, guests can just switch on the toilet light and leave the rest of the room dark. Current dim light switch leaves bathroom still quite bright and glaring when sleeping. Other than this minor point, this hotel really wonderful and definitely a great hotel to stay in Luoyang!"
