"We were 2 pax, but given an apartment style room, so that was great. However, would have appreciated if there were more than 1 charging point, a kettle as well as a table to place belongings. Otherwise, really convenient location, and there was even coop supermarket right opposite. Showers worked well too."

"I stayed at Hotel Limmathof for one night while visiting Zurich, and it worked well as a straightforward, no-frills option in a very convenient location. The biggest advantage of this hotel is how central it is. It’s less than a 5-minute walk from Zurich’s main train station, which makes it ideal if you’re arriving late, leaving early, or just want easy access to transport. It’s also within walking distance of the Old Town, shops, and restaurants, so you can explore the city without needing to rely on public transport. The room itself was quite basic but clean and functional. It had everything needed for a short overnight stay, even if it didn’t feel particularly modern or luxurious. For me, that wasn’t an issue as I was only there for one night and mainly needed somewhere comfortable to sleep. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food, but there are plenty of cafés and bakeries nearby if you prefer to eat out. I would recommend Hotel Limmathof if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, centrally located hotel in Zurich for a short stay. It’s not about luxury, but it offers convenience, cleanliness, and good access to everything you need in the city."

"I had fantastic 4 night stay at Zurich Youth Hostel. The room was clean and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The front desk and Housekeeping were exceptionally welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. I love the breakfast and the lobby restaurant for you to chill. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay here if happened visit Switzerland."

"Pros: 1. Location is right across Oerlikon train station and surrounded by supermarkets and a small shopping mall. 2. Rooms prices are more affordable compared to the ones near Zurich main station. 3. Front office staff were friendly and welcoming. 4. Modern and fairly spacious rooms for 19sqm Cons: 1. Missed housekeeping request after a call was made for it to be done. No one came and the staff we spoke to only said she will highlight to management. 2. No kettle to boil hot water.. seems like the 2nd hotel we came across in Switzerland that doesn't provide this. We didn't opt for breakfast so we can't comment on that."

"Getting to the hotel from the train station is super convenient with tram line 4; it stops right outside, runs frequently, and the journey only takes about ten minutes. Our triple room came with bunk beds and was quite compact, but perfectly functional. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A slight downside was not being able to boil water in the room, but there's a kettle available in the ground-floor restaurant for hot water. We also noticed many guests using the restaurant's communal area for their meals in the evenings. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, especially for Zurich."

"We arrived very early for our reservation (06:45 AM) at Ibis Styles hotel after a long night's travel from Prague & wasn't sure whether any rooms would be available. We were greeted by the friendly gentlemen at the reception Hicham Khalil, who was a life saver. He helped us to check-in early which was amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complementary tea & coffee, together with the gym and sauna was a pleasant treat. It was a super comfortable stay at an affordable price, very close to Zurich HB. 😊♥️"

"Affordable hotel in decent neighbourhood. It’s 15min walk from Zurich HBF. Sink basin is located inside the room instead of bathroom. Room floor can be get wet , if you are not too careful. Air conditioning is not there, but fan is provided."

"I really don't know where all the negative reviews are coming from, I loved this place. Stayed there for 3 nights and had a great experience. Everything was clean and nice, sheets were clean, no bedbugs, no bad smell, very nice and light room, tv, balcony, hair dryer, towels, shampoo, toilet paper, dishes, small fridge that even had a little freezer inside, stove, the place had everything you might need while travelling. Had no problems with check in, the box is behind the building outside, just put my code in and got the keys, never had to contact any of the stuff, everything was on time. The building has an elevator. The only little thing was that there was a little floor damage that was not a problem for me, and the shower curtain was a bit dirty, would recommend them to change it. I expected this place to be really bad after reading all those reviews, but I got very surprised when I got there, everything was great, would definitely stay there again. The location is great, I'd say pretty walkable like 30 minutes walk to the main station, but there's also a tram stop right next to the building, as well as kiosks, stores and restaurants."

"A wonderful hotel in Zurich with an excellent location, just a short walk from the main railway station, central markets, and key city attractions. The service quality is outstanding, with very attentive staff and a high level of customer loyalty, making you feel truly welcome from the very first moment. I will definitely stay here again. I also highly recommend paying attention to the pavilion located next to the hotel, where they prepare exceptional risotto — a true gastronomic delight."
