"The room is definitely on the small side but as a petite woman, this is definitely enough for a few nights’ stay.
The bed was comfy and the arrangement of the room made sense.
The best was how it’s literally just in front of Flix bus station & train station. So no matter how late you arrive, you don’t need to worry about lugging your luggage in the dark and walk for far to find the place.
Overall, I enjoyed my night stay at Fred’s and would consider staying with them again if I were to visit Zurich again."

"I really liked this budget hotel. It's conveniently located near a train station with a direct line to the airport, and there are supermarkets nearby. "The people at Arlette Hotel were great! Very friendly and helpful. Zurich is a very expensive city and the Arlette is a very good value. The room (101) was smallish as was the bathroom. But we have come to expect that in the older European hotels. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed after a full day of sightseeing in Zurich and the magnificent Alps. The Arlette is just a short walk away to the bus and train station; and there is a great breakfast spot right next door and good kebab restaurant a few doors down. The gentleman at the desk even allowed us to check in very early after a long redeye flight. That was truly wonderful gesture. It says a lot about how caring the staff is. If we ever return to Zurich, we will be sure to stay here."

"The bed is big, but there is no air conditioning. There is a place to dry clothes. The shower room has a hand-pulled shower head and plenty of hot water. I like that the bathroom is big, with plenty of space for clothes, and a kitchen for cooking. The transportation is convenient. You don't need a card to enter and exit, just a honey code. It's quite convenient. You don't need to worry about losing your card, but the WiFi is very weak and unstable."

"The hotel is very convinient and strategic. Located right next to the Zurich HB station and directly above the Polybanh train (a local attraction of a train to go up to the Zurich University). There's money changer, Starbucks and restaurants on the same stretch of building. Opposite the bridge there is a major hypermart Coop where can get affortable meals, mineral water and daily items. The reception staffs were all very friendly. I requested higher floor facing the train track and the staff reserved for me since I indicated on my booking. There is complementary hot water, tea or coffee available at the lobby. It is a MUST place to stay. Just a small note, if handling heavy luggage on your own, just walk towards behind the Starbucks, there is a door right after the Western Union. The entrance here is only 2 steps, compared to the main front which has more than 10 steps."

"In general, the hotel offers a balance between fee, location, and service. The room is clean, the location is suitable for walking to all the sightseeing places in Zurich. I travelled during the not-busy season so it is OK, most of the time when I wanted to use the bathroom, it was available. However, during the travel seasons, you should be aware."

One of the best hotel. Good breakfast, excellent people are the reason for this good review. The hotel is very close to Zurich HB train station, ETH Zurich. There are many good resturent nearby including the chain grocery shop coop. The storage system is easy. I love the overall experience.
10 out of 10 for the nice ladies in the reception.
They have reception area where anyone can work, or eat. Nice tea and coffee station with drinking water. Best wishes. I don’t have many pictures.

The location is very good, only a few minutes walk to the Zurich Hb station. The bedroom is neat but a little small. The bedroom is only equipped with a sink, whereas the toilet and shower are shared, one in each floor. The check-in service only runs at 9-12 am and 2-7 pm. If you arrive late, remember to fill in the late check-in form and you will receive an email in the arrival day. Then yo ucan pick up your key in the key box.

Guest UserThe location and cleanliness of the room were excellent. However, there doesn't seem to be a permanent staff member at the hotel, so you need a passcode to enter. This means you must complete the web check-in by the day before your arrival to receive the passcode and room number via email from the hotel. It's absolutely essential not to forget to do the self-check-in beforehand.

T.HeiLocation is good. Aldi, Migros, Coop nearby. Tramstop nearby 3 mins walk with suitcase. Easy self-checkin & checkout.
My room (Basic Room) is quite big indeed, where I can open 3 or 4 suitcases on the floor. But only 1 small table and 1 stool in the room, you have to pack or put your things on the floor or on the bed.
I don't mind at all noises during night time. But if you need to have complete slience to sleep, beware that you may hear laughters from people in the street and noise of car pass by, from time to time.
The drainage pipe in my room is not perfectly set, there are some unpleasant smell in the washroom.
I stayed 2 days here. The lift was working but the lights was out of order. I take the lift in dark. But the lift is well repaired the next day. Efficient reaction time. Appreciated. Overall, I

Chan Yuet SheungThe location was excellent, about 12 minutes from the train station. There were few rooms, but they were adequate. However, the most unacceptable thing was that after showering, water seeped into the room floor – this was unacceptable.
A commendable aspect was its completely self-service system. The best feature was the self-service luggage storage, where you could set your own password to lock your luggage – excellent! The only downside was the lack of a lift, which was very inconvenient for carrying large luggage.
On the other hand, there was a luggage lift. Since it only allowed luggage to be lifted, guests didn't need to carry their luggage up the stairs; they could simply go to their floor to retrieve it. This was the hotel's most unique and biggest advantage.
