"This was my first stay and I was extremely satisfied. I've stayed at Ibis many times, and it's always great. The service attitude is super good, and the front desk staff are lovely. The hotel's location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and find great food. It's really close to all the attractions. The room was very clean, and the environment was comfortable and cozy. The bedding was spotless. You can even store your luggage after checking out. All in all, I was very happy with my stay and highly recommend it!"

"I stayed at this hotel for a few days and felt quite comfortable. The service was very attentive, and messages were replied to promptly. Every evening, they would even send a notification for the next day's temperature. Traveling alone, I didn't have many specific needs, but receiving those messages was quite heartwarming. The room was cleaned thoroughly, and the facilities were well-equipped. They even gave me hand warmers at check-out, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this place! I didn't expect it to suddenly snow in Dalian; the snowy scenery was beautiful, and the seaside snowscape was even more stunning."

"This hotel just opened this year, so the room facilities are top-notch, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views. However, what's absolutely unbearable is the terrible soundproofing. On the first night, after extending our stay for another day, we were trying to sleep when the people next door started talking loudly and were very noisy. The next day, I asked if we could change rooms, and the hotel said that both rooms next to us were checking out that day. But the second night was even worse – both rooms on either side were incredibly noisy. I couldn't fall asleep until 2 AM when they finally stopped talking, and then I was woken up very early by footsteps. The rooms have partition walls, so I could hear everything from walking, talking, and snoring next door, even their phone vibrating. If you're a heavy sleeper, this room might be fine, but if you have light sleep, please choose carefully."

"Great location, across from Zhongshan square and 15 minutes walk to Russia street. The marina is a short 10-15 mini taxi ride. This hotel is like an old style China hotel, it’s kind of grand and is kept in relatively good condition, but it is dated with dark wood furniture and not in keeping with the high expectation of an InterContinental, especially compared with other cities. Also, there is a weird smell in the room, and the breakfast spread is limited, even in the club lounge. Also, there was no acknowledgment of my milestone birthday, which was disappointing. On the positive, the executive room is a nice size, bathroom is huge, shower is powerful, the condition is ok, bed and pillows are comfortable, no coffee machine, but free access to lounge with afternoon tea on both days and happy hour where food is served. The pool is large and up to 1.8m deep. The price is relatively good, so overall it was enjoyable. Thanks also to Grace who gave me a late check out and a magnet. I hope they refurbish the hotel soon, as it could be better, through it ain’t that bad ether."

"Dalian Yuehe Seaview Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely amazing – right downstairs is the Venice Water Town, and it's just a 3-minute walk straight to the beach. The room had massive floor-to-ceiling windows, offering an unobstructed 180° sea view. Waking up to the blue ocean in the morning and watching the sunset in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The hygiene was impeccable; the room was very clean. They even provided a smart toilet, a washing machine, and laundry detergent pods – the thoughtful details were impressive. The owner was super nice and helpful. Plus, there are trendy restaurants and supermarkets conveniently located nearby. The value for money is off the charts. If you're coming to Dalian, this is definitely the place to stay!"

"The hotel offered great value for the price, with spacious rooms that were comfortable and well-equipped. Its location was perfect, situated just behind Dalian Railway Station and within walking distance of a subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient. Additionally, there were some of food options nearby, adding to the overall convenience. A fantastic choice for travelers seeking affordability and accessibility!"

"Novotel will be my top choice next time I visit Dalian! Absolutely fantastic! This was the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my Dalian trip. For the first two days, unfamiliar with the city, I booked a highly-rated hotel online based on its location. To my dismay, it didn't even have blackout curtains, and I was woken up by sunlight shining on my bed past 5 AM. I decisively switched to Novotel, which, coincidentally, is located in the same building. I regret that Novotel wasn't a recommended option when I made my initial booking online. **Location:** Situated in the heart of Zhongshan District, it's near Dalian Times Square (luxury shopping) and very close to Zhongshan Square and the charming Nanshan Street. Its excellent location makes it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. A taxi to Xinghai Square only costs around 10-20 RMB. There are plenty of dining, entertainment, and leisure options in the vicinity. **Ambiance:** The hotel boasts a 'light luxury' design, which feels very comfortable and inviting. It's impeccably clean, fresh, and hygienic, with a complimentary fruit platter provided daily. **Facilities:** The facilities are comprehensive and include everything you'd expect. There's both a laundry room and a well-equipped gym. The on-site restaurant also serves a delicious breakfast! **Service:** The service is exceptionally warm and friendly, truly making you feel at home. The staff are polite and greet you every time they see you. Even the cleaning staff proactively offer a greeting with a smile. The only minor drawback is that it shares elevators with several other hotels, and there's no key card required to access floors directly, which could be a slight security concern."

"The location is excellent. All the bustling city centers after the Russian occupation are concentrated here, very close to Russian Style Street, Dalian Art Museum, and Zhongshan Park, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. I wonder if all hotels in Dalian are like this, but the decor inside is quite elegant and attractive compared to other hotels I've stayed in. They upgraded my room type, and the night view from the window was lovely, though I regret not taking photos. The breakfast in the morning was delicious 😋, with a good variety. On the second day, I ate a bit later, and the auntie clearing tables even asked if anyone needed more food – she was very gentle and considerate. The hotel is very clean; you couldn't see a single water stain on the bathroom glass. The conditioner provided smelled quite nice. Ice Bar – Thirst-quenching drinks: Both bartenders were witty and gentle, and you could ask them for anything. There's a gym available, and I really enjoyed the yoga ball; lying on it was incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended! If I get the chance to visit again, I'd love to stay here."

The room decor was full of childlike fun, the cartoon theme really hit the spot for the kids, and exclusive children's amenities and small toys were all readily available. The attention to detail was incredibly thoughtful. My child shrieked with joy upon entering the room, making it completely stress-free for mom! The hotel's children's play facilities are incredibly rich, and my little one had a blast, burning off energy all day, which was super convenient! Adults can also relax well. The heated pool's water quality is excellent, and the hot tub is comfortable and relieving. We enjoyed both swimming and soaking, feeling incredibly happy 💦 Special mention for the heartwarming service! A big thank you to the lovely Yina for her warm and attentive service throughout, she was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Also, the housekeeping auntie kept our room spotless and tidy; her service was meticulous and caring. You can feel Shangri-La's dedication everywhere ❤️ The location is excellent, the family-friendly facilities are top-notch, and the five-star quality lives up to its reputation. Next time we visit Dalian with the kids, we'll definitely choose this place again!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Staffs is friendly and helpful. Hotel room is clean and new , provide laundry service and free supper from 9.30pm to 11pm and this is a surprise to us especially during cold weather also we have an old folk with us so we enjoyed it a lot. Quite a lot of eateries nearby, small shops to buy some groceries. Definitely will be back again. Thank you 😊"
