"Highly Recommended (Genuine review, written while waiting for my flight). 1. It's affordable, and the soundproofing is decent. 2. The location is absolutely fantastic – just 10 meters straight out of the subway exit! About 100 meters away is a Dalian Supermarket, which I highly recommend for a casual browse; it's incredibly convenient for picking up fresh milk, popular local smoked meat patties, chicken frame noodles, and more. Wuxian Xia Xiang (a restaurant) is also a delicious recommendation, only 300 meters away. Plus, there are three or four shopping malls within 500 meters, all easily reachable on foot. 3. The room comes with a mini-fridge, perfect for keeping drinks cold. The staff member was incredibly kind; when I mentioned I needed more water to take out, she generously gave me 6 bottles right away! The only minor drawback is that the laundry room is quite cramped (though you can ignore this if you don't plan on using it). 4. Dalian's weather is truly unbeatable – I really don't want to leave!"

"The two-bedroom suite was perfect for our family of three adults. The room itself was spacious, bright, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The service was incredibly thoughtful! The dining table, which also served as a desk, was very practical. Having a Siemens washer-dryer combo, microwave, and a full set of tableware made our stay incredibly convenient. With a supermarket just downstairs where we could easily pick up laundry detergent, doing laundry daily was a breeze. The hotel's amenities, including the swimming pool, billiards room, and gym, were excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the delicious Japanese cuisine at the restaurant. The subway station is conveniently located right outside to the right, and a ten-minute walk straight ahead takes you to the scenic Donggang Fountain by the sea. Our few days of vacation here were truly relaxing and enjoyable. Dalian is a truly wonderful city, and the Donggang area is particularly pleasant. We'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next visit. Thank you!"

"The room was very comfortable. All clean, good air conditioning and illuminated. The staff is so kind and friendly. They were all time in communication, before and during my stay, attentive to what I could need."

"Overall a good place with a bright design. Location is about 20-25 minutes walking from the train station or 15 minutes from the metro station with a direct link to the airport. It is foreigner friendly, since the friendly staff knows some English or tries to communicate via online translator. The bed was very comfortable, Aircon worked for cooling, WiFi was fast. Two minor flaws: drainage in the shower didn't work well and there was some weird smell in the room when I arrived, but nothing too serious. The breakfast is not a buffet. You'll be served a tray with some food as shown on photo. If you like chicken feet and a prawn in rice porridge for breakfast, you'll love it :) On the flip side, they push you hard to leave them a 5* review when you check out. They even have a special manual for that in several languages. This spoils the overall good impression. In any case, I can recommend this place."

"The location is very convenient and within walking distance of many tourist attractions and food streets. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We got a free plate of fruits on our first day, and when we checked out, we were given a little goodie bag full of snacks. The water pressure of the shower head is heavenly. It's the best shower head I have ever used in my entire life. It's amazing!!!!"

"The hotel is a local chain hotel in Dalian. It is very, very clean. The breakfast provided is McDonald's, and there are snacks on the first floor! This hotel is very unique. There is no elevator. "An absolutely perfect stay. The InterContinental Dalian boasts luxurious, elegant, and grand facilities. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and inviting, offering breathtaking views of the East Port shipyard and the ocean. Its prime downtown location provides incredibly convenient access to subway and bus lines, and taxi rides around the city are also very affordable. It's just a short walk to the historic century-old buildings around Zhongshan Square. Check-in was a breeze, and the service was attentive and incredibly warm. A special thank you to DANA at the front desk for her excellent service. I also appreciate the doormen who always helped me with my bags from the taxi. Finally, kudos to the F&B department for the thoughtful gesture of delivering red date and pear soup to my room in the evening, which was a perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. Dalian truly is a fantastic city!"

"First of all, this B&B is a new store with a good location. You can see the Venice Water World upstairs. It is convenient to play at night, especially for those who take their elders and children out for a trip like me. You can come back to rest at any time. We drove here and can park for free. We need to communicate with the front desk in advance. There are shopping malls nearby, which is convenient for eating and shopping. There are two convenience stores downstairs. Let's talk about the hotel environment. Everything is very good. Bringing children here requires higher environmental hygiene, but it is really clean. We chose a two-bedroom and one-living room family room with a small child's bed. The children like it very much. There is also a large sofa in the living room. The room area is also large and the light is also very good. It is full of large glass floor beds, which is great. Finally, let's talk about the hotel front desk service, which is also super super good. The boy and girl at the front desk are very enthusiastic and very good. "The hotel clearly had a nice renovation at some point, and the rooms are very spacious. The sofa was a comfortable spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. A heated towel rail in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch, making it easy to dry clothes during our trip. However, the hotel itself feels quite dated. The lighting was dim, the air conditioning had an unpleasant odor, and the curtains were torn. On a positive note, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful. We had originally booked a twin room, but upon arrival, we found its window faced a wall of noisy air conditioning units from the adjacent building. When we informed the front desk, they were very accommodating; they came up to our floor and switched us to a king room without us having to go downstairs. Breakfast was also quite good. The hotel's location is superb, with many restaurants nearby, and it's within walking distance of Zhongshan Square. Taxis to any destination were also reasonably priced."
