The hotel environment is lovely, and in addition to breakfast and afternoon tea, a complimentary travel photography session was provided. The photographer, Mr. Dafei, was highly skilled and provided attentive service, making our trip feel like a warm breeze. Upon check-out, we were also given local specialties—dried sweet potatoes and Dragon Boat Festival tea—small gifts that showed the hotel's thoughtfulness and filled our trip with wonderful memories."

"The room completely exceeded my expectations! As a newly renovated hotel, all the facilities were brand new. The entire room was controlled by a smart smart device, allowing me to operate the lights, curtains, and TV with a single command – a dream come true for lazy people like me! The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the pillows were plush and didn't sag – a truly relaxing night's sleep. The bathroom had a thorough separation of wet and dry areas, the smart toilet was a thoughtful touch, and there were no unpleasant odors in the corners. The housekeeping was exceptionally meticulous.
The amenities were also plentiful. The complimentary buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, including hot dishes, porridge, and snacks – delicious and filling. The laundry room was clean and tidy, making it incredibly convenient to wash and change clothes anytime while traveling. There was even a robot food delivery service – a truly high-tech experience. My travel companion loves playing mahjong, and the deluxe mahjong room we booked was excellent value for money. The soundproofing was excellent, creating a quiet and peaceful environment, perfect for both entertainment and relaxation."

"Songyang County is very small. I thought the hotel was inconvenient in the urban and rural junction. It turned out that it was actually very close to Songyang Old Street. It was only ten minutes away from Yangjiatang Ancient Village by car. The room was clean and tidy, the breakfast was rich, and the price was affordable. The young lady in the lobby was very enthusiastic to introduce the surrounding tourist spots. Very satisfied!"

"When I came here, it was sunny and rainy. I saw the golden Chenjiapu in the sun and felt the feeling of being surrounded by the sea of clouds. Of course, the extremely beautiful room can make this experience more profound. I got up at five in the morning and sat in front of the window, watching Chenjiapu from a little spark to full daylight. The sense of seclusion rose sharply. The best time was to just take a shower and change into clean clothes and blow the wind on the terrace. The birdsong and the breeze made me so happy that I wanted to cry. The staff in the B&B are very warm. The dog Xiao Q and Xiaobai and Sanwa who often visit the B&B are very close. Every time I walk back to the room, it feels like I'm back home.

This small house was renovated from an old house. It took half a year. Every object in the small house was collected by the landlord and his two lovers. Except for the wooden frame and yellow rammed earth, which were kept as they were, the interior layout was completely renovated. It is very modern and simple, providing residents with convenience and comfort in life, while retaining the tranquility and simplicity of people in the mountains beside the stream. I particularly like the wide wooden water table by the window, where I can read a book while listening to the gurgling stream.
When we arrived at the parking lot in Songyang, the hostess had already greeted us in the parking lot. The male host with a baby face also came up to us halfway with a smile. As soon as we arrived at the store, we were served in a big bowl. Iron and grapefruit tea is so warm! Dinner was also arranged at the B&B. The host was a good man who knew how to cook. Several of the dishes were colorful and flavorful and must be praised, including the breakfast the next morning, which was both nutritious and delicious. It must be said that families with children can also experience a backyard vegetable picking experience, which is very interesting for children living in the city!
The whole village of Songzhuang Village is not as big as Yangjiatang, and it is far away from the county seat, so there are fewer tourists. Relatively speaking, the visiting experience is very good. There is an ancient arch bridge in the village that was rated as a secret place in the south of the Yangtze River by National Geographic Magazine. It is covered with greenery. The moss is very beautiful from a distance and up close, and there are a lot of people taking pictures! We took a group photo with Xin and Lixia’s dog mother 123 on the bridge. Speaking of this little Chuanchuan, he is really a cute dog. My daughter also insisted on booking me to this hotel in Lixia because of it. I didn’t expect the experience. The bed is facing the window, allowing direct sunlight and sufficient heating at night. The hot water in the bath is not too hot, the bath is a bit cold, and the shower is okay. The store also thoughtfully prepared some disposable towels, which is very thoughtful. It’s great for people like me who don’t use outside towels! The landlord and his wife are very down-to-earth, and they also eat in the store in the evening. The local village is very quiet, and the sunset is beautiful. It is suitable for relaxing and renovating on weekends. The B&B I stayed in was the best in the whole village, and the decoration was all wooden. They showed us the surrounding and we ate together. In the area are a lot of beautiful old buildings and also some moderne buildings (tofu factory and rice wine factory). The window view and bed view of this famous hotel are first-rate (we also went to see the views of other hotels during the two days we were there, believe me) This one is the best). Ssi****This was by far the most delightful stay of our trip. Staying in an old house within an ancient village offered a truly unique experience.
The old house was incredibly well-preserved, and every decorative detail showcased the owner's thoughtful touches.
The room itself was thoughtfully modernized to suit contemporary guests, and yes, it really, really, really had a smart toilet! 🚽
We had dinner at the guesthouse both nights, ordering from the owner. While the prices were a little higher than outside, the ingredients were exquisite, the preparation was refined, and the dining atmosphere was wonderfully atmospheric. The food itself was very satisfying. (I absolutely loved the tofu, which is apparently a local specialty).
Also, when you're exploring the village, don't forget to say hello to the local dogs! 🐶 They're all very friendly, and we became good pals with them over our two-day stay.
