It beautifully preserves its ancient charm with yellow walls, grey tiles, horse-head walls, courtyards, and mossy stone steps. The rooms are poetically named after Song Dynasty sages, such as 'Jingxing' and 'Huaijin'. Its central location within the village makes it incredibly convenient to visit both the 'Couple Trees' and the observation deck. The butler service is exceptional; they contacted us in advance, met us at the village entrance upon arrival, and helped with our luggage. The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. Staying here feels like living out a slow-paced, ancient painting..."

"The location of the B&B is OK. It takes only 20 minutes to get there after getting off the highway. It is located in the tea fields. The air is fresh. There is a cycling path next to it for walking. The bad thing is that the room is not soundproof. People on the second floor can hear every move upstairs. In fact, there is no big noise upstairs, but it is clear, footsteps, talking... The overall environment and room facilities were quite good, exceeding my expectations. However, there are a few minor details I'd like to improve: 1. Bottled drinking water was not provided in the room. 2. The welcome fruit I redeemed with Ctrip points during booking was not provided (I only noticed this when reviewing my booking while writing this review)."

"Yi Yuan Village is a quaint, peaceful and authentic hideaway in the mountains, away from the tourist crowds that cause chaos further down the valley back towards Song Yang City. It has a few homestays, ours at Yi Yin being the best and most recently opened. The host family (Ceng) is generous and hospitable, friendly, polite and helpful. Rooms were spotless and clean, nicely furnished and easy to reach, nearer the entrance to the village. All meals were freshly made with home-made or locally sourced ingredients, very tasty! They helped us arrange several day trips with an excellent driver (Xiao Bao) whom I also highly recommend. He can be contacted through the host family; he is popular, so I would suggest you request his services once you have confirmed your stay at Yi Yin. Yi Yin is well placed for visiting the surrounding area; there is daily, regular public transport to and from the village and surrounding countryside."

"A perfect getaway from the city. The previous village that existed here was renovated and turned into a hotel, but it still retains its countryside charm. There are various activities from swimming in the infinity pool and playing pool in the games room. The food is fresh and tasty and there is coffee in the room, as well as at breakfast. Always a welcome addition. The service was great and they transported the bags up the steps for us, which was nice, as we were at the top. Overall, a great way to spend a weekend away from it all. The dishes retained their original flavor and tasted really good. My daughter and I also made a small mistake in the old house and dirty the floor of the old house. KKiki_123The location isn't in Chenjiapu, but in a village below it. It's very quiet, and parking is easy. There's an ancient path leading to Chenjiapu from here, about a 20-minute walk. Chenjiapu was very crowded during New Year's Day, so we didn't drive and walked from the guesthouse, which was very convenient. The guesthouse staff picked us up from the parking lot; they were very welcoming. The guesthouse is at the bottom of a flight of stairs, and our room, number 8, was at the very bottom. We had dinner at the guesthouse, and it was quite good. Breakfast was also plentiful and we ate our fill. The flatbread was especially delicious!! The purple cake was also tasty, and the kids loved it. The golden shaded dog and the puppy were very well-behaved; even I, someone who's afraid of dogs, loved them. They were so awesome that I couldn’t even keep up with them. The reception center will prepare free tea, and the Dragon Boat Festival tea is quite delicious. I am willing to drink it every day. I was given a pack when I checked out. Wow, it’s great. It’s just what I want. When I got home, I saw that the pack was super full. 😆 The housekeeper loves me too much. Sister Carrot at the reception center gave my little mouse a small nest and took a photo. I really love it.
