"The location isn't in Chenjiapu, but in a village below it. It's very quiet, and parking is easy. There's an ancient path leading to Chenjiapu from here, about a 20-minute walk. Chenjiapu was very crowded during New Year's Day, so we didn't drive and walked from the guesthouse, which was very convenient. The guesthouse staff picked us up from the parking lot; they were very welcoming. The guesthouse is at the bottom of a flight of stairs, and our room, number 8, was at the very bottom. We had dinner at the guesthouse, and it was quite good. Breakfast was also plentiful and we ate our fill. The flatbread was especially delicious!! The purple cake was also tasty, and the kids loved it. The golden shaded dog and the puppy were very well-behaved; even I, someone who's afraid of dogs, loved them. The room was large, the air conditioning was strong, and the hot spring pool wasn't too hot, but it was enough for the kids to play in. Our time here was too short; it would be great to come back in the spring to relax and unwind."

Lixia is just as amazing: super energetic, thoughtful, and incredibly talented behind the camera. They also have the sweetest dog named One Two Three – a patient and gentle soul who quickly became our favorite companion. She joined Lixia in accompanying us around the village and along the ancient trails, adding even more joy to our walks. What truly blew us away was the photography and videos Lixia made for us. While we explored, she quietly captured the most beautiful shots of us among the old stone houses and ancient trails. At the end of our stay, she surprised us with two wonderfully edited short videos that perfectly captured the joy and laughter of our weekend. I’ve stayed at hundreds of places around the world and have never received anything like this – it’s a memory we’ll treasure forever. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with local touches. Every small detail – from the welcome fruit basket to the cozy fireplace at night – shows how much love and effort this young couple puts into making guests feel truly at home. "A perfect getaway from the city. The previous village that existed here was renovated and turned into a hotel, but it still retains its countryside charm. There are various activities from swimming in the infinity pool and playing pool in the games room. The food is fresh and tasty and there is coffee in the room, as well as at breakfast. Always a welcome addition. The service was great and they transported the bags up the steps for us, which was nice, as we were at the top. Overall, a great way to spend a weekend away from it all. Watch the clouds role in and enjoy the scenery."

"The room is very clean, the scenery outside the floor-to-ceiling window is charming, and the toilet is a smart toilet that is very comfortable, which shows that the details are in place. The housekeeper was super considerate throughout the whole process, and he immediately asked us to come out to see the rainbow after the rain. It was really beautiful.
